  • An outdoor luminaire according to the invention for the illumination of outdoor facilities has a luminaire housing, which surrounds electrical components. These electrical components are in the use of bulbs in the form of LEDs in particular ballasts that are costly to buy. Furthermore, at least one light module with a module housing, which surrounds at least one light source, is provided for the exterior light. A terminal plate is provided in the module housing which is transparent to allow light generated by the lamp to pass therethrough. In other words, a separation between a lamp housing and a module housing is made in an outdoor lamp according to the invention, wherein the expensive and costly electrical components are provided in the lamp housing, while at least the bulbs are arranged in the module housing.

  • the inventive design of an outdoor lamp has the advantage that a thermal decoupling of the electrical components from the light sources and vice versa takes place. Temperature influences that emanate from electrical components on the bulbs and vice versa are minimized or eliminated in this way. If, for example, an electrical component becomes warm during operation of the outdoor lamp, this has hitherto led to the entire interior of a lamp housing having warmed up. This increased temperature could cause the bulbs were impaired in terms of their life. The same applied vice versa, when the bulbs in operation have generated heat which in turn has been detrimental to electrical components. Due to the thermal decoupling in the embodiment according to the present invention, it is possible to disregard the heat influence on the respective other components, ie the electrical components or the lighting means, in the selection of the respective component. In known outdoor lights, it is disadvantageous that a combination of electrical components and lamps takes place in a housing. Although this allows on the one hand a relatively low degree of complexity of the outdoor lamp, since only single housing is necessary, however, when replacing a lamp this single housing must be opened. The opening of the housing, which also includes the electrical components, has the disadvantage that in this way an impairment of the electrical components is possible. In addition, when re-closing after the replacement of the bulb re-sealing this housing necessary neces-dig. This sealing is of crucial importance, since the sealing of the electrical components, which are at the same time the most costly components of such an outdoor lamp, is a critical factor. If this seal is not performed properly, it may happen that the electrical components, such as capacitors, circuit boards or ballasts, must be content by weathering with a shorter life.

Also disadvantageous in the known outdoor lights is that when replacing the bulbs, a contact of the fitter with the optical systems takes place in such an outdoor light. These are often arranged in a washer, which must also be removed to replace the bulb. Contact with an optical system has the disadvantage that the quality of the optical system, in particular the orientation of the optical system after replacement, may be compromised. It is also known that either no lighting technology adjustment is possible, the lighting orientation requires the adjustment of the entire lamp head or the lighting technology orientation is realized via an adjustment within the outdoor lamp.

It is an object of the present invention to at least partially overcome the disadvantages of known outdoor lights. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide an outdoor light available, which allows a cost-effective and simple way to replace the bulb, without affecting the tightness with respect to electrical components.

The above object is achieved by an outdoor lamp with the features of independent claim 1. Further features and details of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description and the drawings. In this case, features and details apply in connection with the invention Outdoor light are described, of course, also in connection with all the individual subclaims and in each case vice versa, so that with respect to the disclosure of the individual aspects of the invention always reciprocal reference is or may be.

An outdoor luminaire according to the invention for the illumination of outdoor facilities has a luminaire housing, which surrounds electrical components.

An outdoor lamp according to the invention is characterized in that the module housing is mounted on the lamp housing via a bearing device and an electrical connection between the at least one lamp and the electrical components is provided to supply the lamps with power. In other words, there are a mechanical and an electrical interface between the lamp housing and the module housing. The electrical interface, ie the electrical connection, can be designed, for example, as a cable. Of course, other transmission options for energy are conceivable, such as by induction coupling, sliding contacts or a so-called Near Field Communication (NFC). In particular, non-contact transmissions of the electrical connections have an advantage, since no plug connection is necessary.

Due to the mechanical coupling in the form of the bearing device module housing and lamp housing are separated. Accordingly, there are two different housings for the two different components, namely the bulbs and the electrical components. The electrical components can thus be protected much better than is the case with the light source. To replace a bulb, the luminaire housing must not be opened, as was the case with known outdoor lights. Rather, it is sufficient if the module housing is opened. This makes it possible for the electrical components to be irreversibly sealed and, accordingly, for the seal to meet a high degree of safety. In addition, an exchange of the entire light module can be done in addition to the bulbs, so that in a cost effective and above all simple way an exchange of individual bulbs can be omitted. Rather, only the electrical connection and the storage device must be solved and a new light module can be arranged. Already defective light modules can be revised or repaired in a defined environment, such as a workshop. On site in the outdoor areas in which the outdoor light is located, only a simple and with respect to the degree of tightness of the outdoor light not impairing replacement of the entire light module must be performed.

In addition to the tightness problems, the inventive design of an outdoor lamp has the advantage that a thermal decoupling of the electrical components from the light sources and vice versa takes place. This can be created for the particular application ideal selection conditions for the light source, as well as for the electrical components. For example, an ideal choice may be made for minimizing the price or for improving and optimizing the illumination. Even a lower power consumption can be the goal of such optimization.

The storage of the module housing can be both reversible, as well as irreversible. In particular, in the reversible training, the entire light module can be replaced, as has already been explained in detail above. A single light module is particularly easy to construct. In particular, such a light module has a board receptacle in which a circuit board with a multiplicity of light sources is arranged. In addition, the board receptacle is provided with a cover that covers the board receptacle and arranged therein board. This cover is preferably liquid-tight. Thus, the board is protected from the weather. In the board receptacle, in the cover or between these two components beyond a cable passage or a cable bushing is provided through which the electrical connection can take place to the bulbs.

The luminaire housing in an outdoor luminaire according to the invention is preferably equipped with a fastening section, which is designed for fastening to a holder, in particular a mast. Thus, such an outdoor light both on a stationary mast, as well as a house connection or attached to a cable connection. The bearing device itself is generally the storage of the module housing on the lamp housing. This means that the module housing is statically supported on the luminaire housing. In particular, the bearing device is the possibility of a statically determined mounting of the module housing on the luminaire housing.

An outdoor lamp according to the invention can be further developed in that the bearing device is designed for an angular adjustment of the module housing relative to the lamp housing. Such an angular adjustment can be adjusted so to speak, the angle of the lamp relative to the lamp housing and thus also relative to a connection to a holder. The angular adjustment makes it possible to adjust the illumination or the direction of the illumination by means of an outdoor lamp according to the invention. Due to the angular adjustment one and the same outdoor light can be used for a variety of Ausleuchtsituationen so that the number of pieces for the production of an outdoor lamp according to the invention for a variety of situations is correspondingly larger. This reduces the cost of a single outdoor lamp according to the present invention. The angular adjustment can take place during assembly. In particular, during assembly of the bearing device, the corresponding angular adjustment can be performed.

An outdoor lamp according to the invention is further developed in particular to the effect that the bearing device is designed for a tool-free angular adjustment of the module housing relative to the lamp housing. This allows an even easier handling of the storage device. In particular, a particularly simple and quick adjustability on site when mounting the outdoor light in the outdoor facilities is possible. A setting in the workshop is no longer necessary in this embodiment. The tool-free angled adjustment takes place, for example, by means of clamping means, latching means or other devices which serve within the bearing device, an angular adjustment to allow and at the same time in the appropriately selected angled orientation to form the bearing device as a statically determined storage of the module housing on the lamp housing.

It may be advantageous if in an outdoor lamp according to the invention the bearing device has mutually corresponding locking lugs, which are respectively arranged on the module housing and the lamp housing and mutually engaging the module housing to the lamp housing at a defined angle to each other. In other words, the angular adjustment is carried out in this way. In this case, at least one locking lug on the lamp housing and at least one latching lug formed on the module housing, said corresponding latching noses together at least partially form the bearing device. The bearing device is thus formed as a functional feature both by the module housing, as well as together with the lamp housing. The mutually corresponding locking lugs each form stops or abutment surfaces, which engage with each other to perform the statically determined storage of the module housing on the lamp housing. When providing different locking lugs, which are at a predefined angle to each other, the angle can be provided by selecting the correspondence of individual locking lugs, which should be adjustable. The individual locking lugs and / or the bearing device are in particular provided symmetrically, so that a statically determined storage is produced with high mechanical stability. If, for example, a cable bushing is provided in the middle between the luminaire housing and the module housing, then in the case of a symmetrical design of the latching lugs they can be arranged to the left and right of the cable bushing.

When inserting the module housing in the luminaire housing, the corresponding desired angular adjustment is performed. Here, no elasticity for the respective latch is necessary.

Another advantage is when, in an outdoor lamp according to the invention, the bearing device has at least one stop which defines a maximum angular adjustment of the module housing relative to the lamp housing. Such a stop defines, for example, plus / minus 15 °, so that in a neutral starting position, which is substantially parallel to the luminaire housing of the outdoor light, 15 ° can be pivoted upwards and 15 ° downwards. This stop is also used, in the event that the locking lugs would break off over material aging, to prevent complete dropping of the light module. This is generated by the additional stop a further assurance for the operability of an outdoor lamp according to the invention. For example, such stops may be formed as the cooperation of additional surfaces of the two housings. Of course, these attacks can also be part of the storage device.

Another advantage is when in an outdoor lamp according to the invention, the angular adjustment allows complete folding of the module housing relative to the lamp housing such that the outdoor lamp has reduced external dimensions in this state. In particular, a complete folding of the module housing relative to the lamp housing generates a transport state in which the transport to the mounting point can be made in particularly compact dimensions .. This reduces the transport costs, as well as the packaging costs for an outdoor lamp according to the invention.

Moreover, in the case of an outdoor luminaire according to the invention, it is possible for the cover disk to have at least one optical system for influencing the beam path of the light generated by the at least one luminous means through the Has cover lens through. Preferably, the cover plate itself is at least partially formed as an optical system. An optical system is for example a lens or a reflector. Such an optical system is preferably provided in each case for each luminous means. By replacing the entire light module, which is simple and fast in an outdoor lamp according to the invention, the replacement of the optical system is guaranteed. In such an exchange no contact takes place with the optical system by the fitter. Thus, the risky contact of the optical system is avoided, so that in a new light module, the desired and defined orientation of the optical system is present to the respective bulb and a prevention of contamination of the optical system is ensured.

It is also advantageous if the module housing and / or the luminaire housing are designed to be liquid-tight in an outdoor luminaire according to the invention. This liquid-tight training prevents the ingress of water to the lamp and / or to the electrical and electrical components. In particular, in the luminaire housing as well as the module housing, this may be an irreversible seal, which brings with it an increased degree of sealing. Such irreversible seal can also serve for the mechanical fixing of individual housing parts to each other. The irreversible tightness is possible in an outdoor lamp according to the invention in that the module housing and the lamp housing are separated from each other. In this way, a low-cost and relatively compact small module in the form of the light module can be replaced without affecting the entire outdoor lamp and the expensive components such as the lamp housing and the electrical components contained therein.

FIG. 1 schematically shows an embodiment of an outdoor lamp 10 according to the invention. This is connected via a mounting portion with a holder 100, here in the form of a mast. The outdoor light 10 is used to illuminate outdoor facilities. It has two separate units. On the one hand, a luminaire housing 20 is provided, which contains the electrical components in a sealed manner. The electrical components include in particular a ballast for LEDs. In addition, a light module 30 is provided, which has completed in a module housing 40, a circuit board with a plurality of bulbs 32. Such a light module 30 is exemplified in FIG FIG. 2 shown. Here it can be seen that a circuit board with a plurality of light sources 32 in the form of LEDs is arranged in a circuit board receptacle. About that In addition, the light module 30 is provided with a cover plate 42, as for example as a cover plate 42 in the FIGS. 4a and 4b can be seen. Out FIG. 1 it will be appreciated that the two housings, namely the luminaire housing 20 and the module housing 40, are arranged separately from one another. There is no thermal coupling between these two housings. Thus, the components contained, namely the electrical components in the lamp housing 20 and the lamps 32 in the module housing 40 are thermally decoupled from each other. Between these two housings 20 and 40 there is an electrical connection 60, as for example the FIG. 3 can be seen.

In FIG. 3 In a schematic perspective, the light module 30 is shown during the arrangement in the storage device 50. Only cut the case 20 is shown here. Here, a cable is selected as the electrical connection 60, which protrudes through a passage in the module housing 40.

Insbesondere erfolgt eine mögliche Anstellung von plus/minus 15°.The bearing device 50 of this embodiment is composed of components of the module housing 40, as well as components of the lamp housing 20 together. Thus, the bearing device 50 latching lugs 52 which are arranged corresponding to each other both on the lamp housing 20, and on the module housing 40. The relative arrangement of the locking lugs 52 to each other in particular in the FIGS. 4a and 4b to recognize. If the corresponding projection nose is introduced with the hinged latching lug 52 of the module housing 40 in the receptacle provided for this purpose on the lamp housing 20, two things happen. For one, as in FIG. 4b shown, the latching lug 52 of the module housing 40 is inserted into one of the latching lugs 52 of the lamp housing 20. By selecting the respective latching lug 52 on the lamp housing 20 is an angular adjustment. The number of locking lugs 52 on the lamp housing 20 allows a variety of angular arrangements of the module housing 40 relative to the lamp housing 20, as in their limits, for example, by the dashed Lines in FIG. 1 is shown. In particular, there is a possible employment of plus / minus 15 °.

FIG. 4a , as well as FIG. 5a shows a way to form a stop 54. For this purpose, a receiving element 56 is provided in the lamp housing 20, in which latching noses 52 of the module housing 40 can engage. This receiving element 56 is rotatably arranged in a receptacle, wherein this receptacle has stop surfaces as stops 54. Now, if an angular adjustment of the module housing 40 is made relative to the lamp housing 20, so snapped by the elastic design of the latching lug 52 of the module housing 40 through the individual locking lugs 52 of the lamp housing 20 through. If the outermost latching lug 52 of the light housing 20 is reached, further adjustment is undesirable because otherwise the latching lugs 52 of the module housing 40 would leave the intended pivoting width for the angular adjustment. To prevent this, the respective stop 54 is provided which determines, so to speak, the maximum adjustment limits for the angular adjustment of the module housing 40 relative to the lamp housing 20.

In the FIG. 5b is an enlarged view again the situation during the insertion of the Modulgehäüsüses 40 shown in the storage device 50. As can be seen particularly clearly here, the bearing device 50 is produced by both components, that is to say both by the luminaire housings 20 and also by the module housing 40.

The above description of the individual embodiments explains the present invention only in the context of examples. Of course, individual features of the embodiments, if technically feasible, can be combined freely with one another, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
