Description

The invention relates to a recessed luminaire according to the preamble of claim 1. Such lights can be installed by means of known leveling device in a ceiling or the like. For example, such a leveling device in the European patent application EP 0999409 Al the Applicant described.

Luminaires of the type mentioned above consist of a luminaire housing, which is suitable for receiving at least one light source of operating and control devices and light-conducting or light-directing components. Such luminaire housings have light exit windows to allow the light to exit. Light-directing and / or light-conducting components, such as light grids and micro-optics ensure the desired light distribution and are used, for example, to glare. It is already known to close such lights by means of a translucent cover, for example, to prevent the pollution of the lamp interior, in particular the light-directing or light-conducting components.
In particular, such lights are from the US 2008/0192489 in which is proposed to close the lamp unit by means of a round, the translucent cover holding, flange or Einbauuringelements.
Because the pollution of lights driven by legal or normative requirements, such as Considering a pollution factor in the design of lighting systems is an increasingly important issue, there is a need for improved, cost-effective closure devices for covers, because closed lights have advantages in terms of pollution factor.

It is an object of the invention to develop a recessed light according to the preamble of claim 1 such that can be closed by means of a cover in a simple manner.

The object is achieved with the characterizing features of claim 1. Here, the cover consists of a frame and a translucent element, in particular a glass plate. The frame captures the translucent element. On the frame closure elements are mounted, which cooperate with shutter openings in the peripheral edge of the lamp housing to releasably secure the cover to the lamp housing.

An essential idea of the invention is to configure the peripheral edge of a recessed luminaire in such a way that sufficient space is available in the region of this edge in order to be able to accommodate counter-elements for a closure, ie in this specific case shutter openings. If the frame of the cover is now designed such that it also covers the peripheral edge of the luminaire housing, a possibility is created for the closure element and closure openings to engage in one another during assembly.

According to the invention the closure element is designed as a retaining spring, which has a base portion and two spring legs. The spring legs of the retaining spring preferably have in the region of the free ends first, mutually inclined portions and then to these sections second portions which divergently divergent. Furthermore, the retaining spring in front view may be configured substantially U-shaped, wherein the Base section connecting spring leg, which are aligned parallel to each other at least in a section. The embodiments of the retaining spring described above make it possible for the retaining spring to be clipped into the closure opening without tools. It is thus possible to simply press the cover against the lamp housing and close by overpressure of the retaining springs. The spring legs slide when pressed against each other of the cover and the lamp housing, guided by the inclined portions of these along the closure opening and are thereby pressed against each other until the sliding along the closure opening portion merges into a divergent section, with the result that, the spring action of the retaining spring now presses the spring legs away from each other, whereby they engage behind the closure opening.

In order to close the cover, it is therefore necessary that in the assembled state of the lamp housing and cover, the spring legs of the retaining spring engage in the closure openings until they engage behind the closure opening with their divergent sections running apart.

In a development of the invention, the retaining spring can have openings for fastening a suspension guard. These openings are preferably in the section of the spring legs, where they are aligned parallel to each other. The suspension can be realized in a known manner with a coil spring. This is connected at one end to the retaining spring and at the other end to the cover, wherein the Cover has a clasp to give the coil spring in the assembled state of the lamp housing and cover space. Thus, the hanger can prevent a cover that can fall from the luminaire housing solved uncontrolled fall down. It is essential here that can be accommodated by the Freinehmung, the coil spring between the frame and the peripheral edge of the lamp housing and thus is not visible in the assembled state from the outside.

Advantageously, provision can be made in a recessed luminaire according to the invention, so that the cover is not damaged during assembly. For this purpose, for example, be provided that the maximum possible penetration depth of the retaining spring in the closure opening of the cover is smaller than the height of the collar of the peripheral edge. In addition, it would be possible to form the spring legs of the retaining spring narrower than the base portion to use the recesses formed as attacks. The stops limit the maximum penetration depth in interaction with the shutter openings.

According to the invention, the light-transmissive element of the cover may be formed as a glass plate which is glued to the frame, wherein glass plate conventional glass plates but also transparent plastic plates are to be understood.

As a lamp, at least one fluorescent lamp can be used, which is preferably blinding by means of light grid in a known manner. Alternatively, as a light source also several Light-emitting diodes conceivable that are blended by means of a micro-optics. Such a micro-optic could be incorporated directly into the glass plate.

The invention and further advantageous embodiments will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

In FIG. 1 an embodiment of a recessed luminaire 1 according to the invention is shown. The recessed luminaire consists of a trough-shaped luminaire housing 2. In a known manner, leveling devices 3, 3 'are mounted on the luminaire housing 2. With regard to the operation of these devices 13, 13 'is expressly to the EP 0999409 A1 directed. On a step-like housing paragraph 19 is a socket with a bulb, which is designed as a tubular fluorescent lamp 4, attached. For control and operation can be housed inside the lamp housing operating and control devices, which are used to supply the light and possibly with Lighting control systems work together. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1 this is an electronic ballast 5, which is fastened with a screw 21 in the housing. For glare a luminaire grid 6 is positioned consisting of cross blades and side reflectors below the fluorescent lamp 4. In addition, behind the fluorescent lamp 4 is a head reflector 24 which is fixed with a screw 20 in the lamp housing 2. A cable holder 22 serves to hold and guide electrical lines, not shown, such as wires and cables.

The luminaire housing 2 has a peripheral edge 8. This is relatively wide to accommodate functional openings can. The recessed light 1 is installed in a ceiling so that the support elements of the leveling devices 3, 3 'hold the recessed light 1 in the ceiling and secure against falling out of this. With correct installation of the lamp 1 in a ceiling, the ceiling facing side of the peripheral edge 8 abuts directly to the ceiling. The recessed luminaire 2 is thus quasi clamped between peripheral edge 8 and support element of the leveling devices 3, 3 '.

As in FIG. 3 are shown along the peripheral edge 8, which adjoins in the illustrated embodiment, only to the longitudinal sides of the lamp housing 2, a receiving space 25 and a plurality of shutter openings 13, 13 'arranged distributed. Through the receiving space 25 is space for a suspension 18, which is designed as a spiral spring created.

The light exit window 7 of the recessed luminaire 1 is closed by a cover 9. This consists of a frame 10 and a translucent element, which is designed as a glass plate 7. The glass plate 7 is glued to the frame 10. The frame is made wider than the glass plate 7. Thus, space is created to accommodate retaining springs 12, 12 'in the frame 10 can. The retaining springs 12, 12 'are preferably spot-welded to the frame.

Like that FIGS. 1 and 4 can be removed, protrude in the assembled state of the cover 9 and the lamp housing 2, the upper part of the retaining springs 12, 12 ', so the first portions 14, 14' and the second portions 15, 15 ', in the closure openings 13, 13'. Thus, the retaining springs 12, 12 'engage behind the shutter openings 13, 13' and thus hold the cover to the recessed light. It is important to ensure that the penetration depth of the retaining springs 12, 12 'in the closure openings 13, 13' are smaller than the height of the collar of the peripheral edge 8. This ensures that always a secure closure can take place. In order to limit the penetration depth, the spring legs formed by the first inclined portion 14, 14 ', the second portions 15, 15' and a portion of the sections 16, 16 'may be made narrower than the base portion 26 recesses, which serve as stops that limit the maximum depth of penetration in conjunction with the shutter openings. Alternatively, just (not shown) tabs from the plane of the peripheral edge 8 can be bent out. These Tabs then have the function of the aforementioned attacks.

In FIG. 2 is a closure element, as in the embodiment of the invention the recessed luminaire 1 according to the FIGS. 1 . 3 and 4 can be applied, shown in perspective view. This closure element is designed as a front view U-shaped retaining spring 12. The retaining spring 12 has a base portion 26. At these mutually parallel sections 16, 16 'are integrally formed. These sections 16, 16 'go into divergent aligned portions 15, 15' over. These close to each other inclined portions 14, 14 'at. The retaining spring 12 has a plurality of openings 17. With one of these openings, one end of the suspension guard 18 is connected and the other end of the suspension 18 is naturally connected to the lamp housing 2. Preferably, two suspension fences 18 and four retaining springs 12, 12 'are installed in a recessed luminaire.

In an embodiment not shown, instead of a fluorescent lamp 4, an arrangement of a plurality of light-emitting diodes is used. In this case, the lighting grid 6 can be omitted with appropriate lighting design. Optionally, however, the glass plate 7 is provided with micro-optical structures in order to achieve a sufficient glare. It goes without saying that the micro-optical structures can also be applied to an additional element placed between light-emitting diodes and glass plate 7.
