Description
Luminaires of the type mentioned above consist of a luminaire housing, which is suitable for receiving at least one light source of operating and control devices and light-conducting or light-directing components. Such luminaire housings have light exit windows to allow the light to exit. Light-directing and / or light-conducting components, such as light grids and micro-optics ensure the desired light distribution and are used, for example, to glare. It is already known to close such lights by means of a translucent cover, for example, to prevent the pollution of the lamp interior, in particular the light-directing or light-conducting components.
In particular, such lights are from the
Because the pollution of lights driven by legal or normative requirements, such as Considering a pollution factor in the design of lighting systems is an increasingly important issue, there is a need for improved, cost-effective closure devices for covers, because closed lights have advantages in terms of pollution factor.
It is an object of the invention to develop a recessed light according to the preamble of claim 1 such that can be closed by means of a cover in a simple manner.
The object is achieved with the characterizing features of claim 1. Here, the cover consists of a frame and a translucent element, in particular a glass plate. The frame captures the translucent element. On the frame closure elements are mounted, which cooperate with shutter openings in the peripheral edge of the lamp housing to releasably secure the cover to the lamp housing.
An essential idea of the invention is to configure the peripheral edge of a recessed luminaire in such a way that sufficient space is available in the region of this edge in order to be able to accommodate counter-elements for a closure, ie in this specific case shutter openings. If the frame of the cover is now designed such that it also covers the peripheral edge of the luminaire housing, a possibility is created for the closure element and closure openings to engage in one another during assembly.
According to the invention the closure element is designed as a retaining spring, which has a base portion and two spring legs. The spring legs of the retaining spring preferably have in the region of the free ends first, mutually inclined portions and then to these sections second portions which divergently divergent. Furthermore, the retaining spring in front view may be configured substantially U-shaped, wherein the Base section connecting spring leg, which are aligned parallel to each other at least in a section. The embodiments of the retaining spring described above make it possible for the retaining spring to be clipped into the closure opening without tools. It is thus possible to simply press the cover against the lamp housing and close by overpressure of the retaining springs. The spring legs slide when pressed against each other of the cover and the lamp housing, guided by the inclined portions of these along the closure opening and are thereby pressed against each other until the sliding along the closure opening portion merges into a divergent section, with the result that, the spring action of the retaining spring now presses the spring legs away from each other, whereby they engage behind the closure opening.
In order to close the cover, it is therefore necessary that in the assembled state of the lamp housing and cover, the spring legs of the retaining spring engage in the closure openings until they engage behind the closure opening with their divergent sections running apart.
In a development of the invention, the retaining spring can have openings for fastening a suspension guard. These openings are preferably in the section of the spring legs, where they are aligned parallel to each other. The suspension can be realized in a known manner with a coil spring. This is connected at one end to the retaining spring and at the other end to the cover, wherein the Cover has a clasp to give the coil spring in the assembled state of the lamp housing and cover space. Thus, the hanger can prevent a cover that can fall from the luminaire housing solved uncontrolled fall down. It is essential here that can be accommodated by the Freinehmung, the coil spring between the frame and the peripheral edge of the lamp housing and thus is not visible in the assembled state from the outside.
Advantageously, provision can be made in a recessed luminaire according to the invention, so that the cover is not damaged during assembly. For this purpose, for example, be provided that the maximum possible penetration depth of the retaining spring in the closure opening of the cover is smaller than the height of the collar of the peripheral edge. In addition, it would be possible to form the spring legs of the retaining spring narrower than the base portion to use the recesses formed as attacks. The stops limit the maximum penetration depth in interaction with the shutter openings.
According to the invention, the light-transmissive element of the cover may be formed as a glass plate which is glued to the frame, wherein glass plate conventional glass plates but also transparent plastic plates are to be understood.
As a lamp, at least one fluorescent lamp can be used, which is preferably blinding by means of light grid in a known manner. Alternatively, as a light source also several Light-emitting diodes conceivable that are blended by means of a micro-optics. Such a micro-optic could be incorporated directly into the glass plate.
The invention and further advantageous embodiments will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
