Es ist eine Feder 6 zum Vorspannen des zweiten Teils 52 relativ zum ersten Teil 51 vorgesehen. Die akustischen Signale entstehen durch aufeinanderfolgende Kollisionen der Kugel und der Verzahnung, wenn die Aufnahmevorrichtung 4 und das mit ihr verbundene erste Teil 51 relativ zur Lagervorrichtung 2 und dem mit ihr verbundenen zweiten Teil 52 verschwenkt wird. Die Kugel wird im Bereich eines Zahnes gegen die Feder 6 gedrückt. Im Bereich zwischen zwei Zähnen stößt die Feder 6 die Kugel gegen den zweiten Teil 52. Die Flanken der Zähne sind steil genug ausgebildet, dass die Kugel nicht entlang der Flanken entlang gleitet. Die optimale Form der Verzahnung lässt sich durch Versuche oder Simulationen ermitteln.
