Description

The invention relates to a sash post for the central closing area of a sash that can be displaced relative to a counter sash in a sliding frame device.

A wing post of the type mentioned above is known, for example, from the German utility model DE 20 2004 005 204 U1 known. According to the solution described there, a movable wing can be moved laterally relative to a frame-fixed wing within a sliding frame device, so that the flat glazings accommodated in the individual wings slide essentially parallel to one another during a displacement process of the movable wing relative to the frame-fixed wing. In order to ensure sufficient weather protection in a closed position of the wing within the sliding frame device, in the previously known solution, symmetrical center closure profiles are arranged on the wing posts, which then, when the movable wing is moved into the closed position, engage with one another in a hooking manner and lie against one another in a sealing manner in the center closure area formed between the now essentially opposite, vertically extending wing posts.

While the one from the DE 20 2004 005 204 U1 While the previously known solution ensures a largely tight seal against the ingress of rainwater and other moisture, the conventional solution described above has the disadvantage that the thermal insulation is insufficient, i.e. that an undesirable heat transfer between the wing arranged on the outside, in the case of the DE 20 2004 005 204 U1 the frame-fixed sash, and the other sash. In other words, the conventional solution has the disadvantage that, particularly when there are large temperature differences between the weather side of the sliding frame device and the side of the sliding frame device facing the interior, an undesirable heat transport between the outside air and the room air can take place.

The CH 698 166 B1 and EN 25 28 264 A1 reveal wing posts for the central closing area, where profiles and seals are made of heat-insulating materials. The CH 698 166 B1 and EN 25 28 264 A1 disclose all features of the preamble of claim 1.

Due to this problem, the present invention was based on the object of developing a wing post of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that the thermal properties, i.e. the heat-insulating properties, are improved and in particular the transfer of thermal energy is reduced.

In a wing post according to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1. In particular, the object is achieved in that the wing post has a central seal, a central seal counter element and at least one receiving area for receiving at least one surface element holder, wherein the wing post is made of a heat-insulating material.

The solution according to the invention has, among other things, the advantage that, since the entire wing post is made of a heat-insulating material, preferably plastic, the thermal insulation path, which in particular prevents undesirable heat transfer by heat conduction along the wing post, is extended.

Due to the fact that along the entire thermal transfer path, i.e. starting from the weather side along the wing post according to the invention made of a heat-insulating material up to the central closure area and, with a correspondingly equivalent design of the opposing wing, also along the wing post of the opposing wing made of the heat-insulating material, no load-bearing metal parts that promote heat conduction are used, except possibly for optical cladding, the undesirable heat transfer along the wing post according to the invention into the central closure area is reduced.

It is understood that the wing post is essentially completely made of the heat-insulating material, preferably of a plastic material.

It should be noted here that the wing post according to the invention, which is made from a heat-insulating material, also has load-bearing or holding functions in relation to the surface element, for example the glazing. For this purpose, at least one receiving area is provided for receiving at least one surface element holder, which introduces the supporting forces required to hold a received surface element directly into the wing post made from a heat-insulating material.

Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

For example, it is provided that a first receiving area is provided for receiving a first surface element holder and a second receiving area is provided for receiving a second surface element holder. The surface element holders are arranged in such a way that they support a surface element, in particular a glazing, from different sides. In this case, it is particularly possible for the first receiving area and the second receiving area to be arranged in such a way that they enable the simple provision of opposing surface element holders, which then support the surface element, in particular the glazing, on opposite sides.

This results in the particular advantage that the connections of the surface element holders required to introduce the supporting forces into the receiving areas of the wing post are only in contact with the wing post itself, which is made of the heat-insulating material, on both sides required to hold the surface element. In other words, in this case, neither of the two surface element holders requires a further support point that could promote heat transfer, for example on metallic profile parts of the wing profile. It is therefore possible, for example, to improve the visual appearance of the surface element holders by making them themselves out of metal, for example aluminum. Since the surface element holders themselves are not arranged along a critical section of the undesirable heat transfer through the wing post, making them out of metal, for example for optical reasons, is not detrimental to the thermally insulating properties of the wing post according to the invention.

According to the invention, the wing post is formed in one piece together with the central seal. In particular, when the wing post according to the invention is made of a plastic material such as PVC, the one-piece design enables particularly simple production, for example in an injection molding process or the like.

In a similar way, it can be provided that the wing post is formed in one piece together with the central seal and together with the central seal counter element. While it may also be advantageous to form the central seal counter element from a different material, for example from a foam material, which ensures a gentle, elastic hooking of the corresponding central seal of the counter wing during the closing process between the wing and the counter wing, a particularly simple and cost-effective method of production is possible with a one-piece design of the wing post together with the central seal and the central seal counter element.

Furthermore, it can be provided to provide an additional seal on the wing post according to the invention. This additional seal is arranged in such a way that when the wing is in a closed position relative to the opposite wing, i.e. when the respective central seals of the wing and opposite wing interact with the respective central seal counter elements of the opposite wing and wing, the additional seal forms an additional sealing connection with the opposite wing. Due to the good thermal insulation properties of the air then enclosed in this additional cavity, the thermal insulation effect can be further improved - in addition to the improved protection against the penetration of moisture such as rainwater.

In a manner analogous to the developments described above, it is also possible to form the wing post together with the additional seal in one piece. In this case, while retaining the additional, improved sealing effect that the additional seal brings with it, a particularly cost-effective production of the wing post according to the invention is possible, since in this case the supporting effect of the wing post for holding the surface element with the reduction of heat transfer through heat conduction and the reduction of heat transfer through flow processes are combined in a single component with an easy-to-manufacture, cost-effective solution.

Preferably, the heat-insulating material is a load-bearing plastic, in particular PVC. The particular advantage here is that such a load-bearing plastic, such as PVC, is particularly weather- and UV-resistant.

In the following, two embodiments of the wing post according to the invention are explained in more detail with reference to a drawing.

Fig.3
a representation similar Fig.2 with a multi-piece design of the wing post.

Fig.1 shows a sectional view through a wing post 101 according to the invention of a wing 100 within a sliding frame device 10, wherein the wing 100 is in a closed position relative to a counter wing 200, so that a central closing area 300 is formed, which in Fig.1 is indicated by dash-dot lines.

In the central sealing area 300, a central sealing seal 103 of the wing 100 engages in a central sealing counter element 204 of the counter wing 200. In an analogous manner, an analogously designed central sealing seal 203 of the counter wing 200 is provided on the wing post 201 of the counter wing 200, which in an analogous manner engages in a central sealing counter element 104 of the wing post 101 of the wing 100. An additional seal 107 is also provided on the wing post, which in the Fig.1 shown Closed position of the wing 100 relative to the counter wing 200 rests against the latter counter wing 200.

A first surface element holder 120 is inserted into a first receiving area 105 of the wing 100 such that a supporting force for supporting the surface element 102 of the wing 100 can be introduced into the wing post 101. On the opposite side of the surface element 102 of the wing 100, a second surface element holder 121 is provided in a similar manner, which is inserted into a second receiving area 106 of the wing post 101, so that supporting forces for supporting the surface element 102 of the wing 100 can also be introduced here.

In dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bildet der erfindungsgemäße Flügelpfosten 101 als solcher die Außenschale des Flügels 100.Due to the relatively large expansion of the wing post 101, which is made of a heat-insulating material such as plastic, an undesirable heat transfer through the wing post 101 is reduced. In the embodiment shown according to Fig.1 The wing post 101 according to the invention forms as such the outer shell of the wing 100.

For optical reasons, a metallic cover 130, for example made of aluminum, is provided, which is connected to the wing post, for example by clipping it in. However, the cover 130, which only serves optical reasons, does not perform any supporting or holding function in this case. Due to its relatively small material volume and its relatively small contact surface with the wing post, the thermal insulation properties of the wing post 101 are not significantly impaired.

In the Fig.1 In the embodiment shown, the first surface element holder 120 and the second surface element holder 121 are also made of metal, for example aluminum, for optical reasons. This measure, which in turn only serves optical reasons, does not impair the good thermal insulation properties of the wing post 101 according to the invention for similar reasons as those explained with respect to the cover 130.

In Fig.2 the wing post 101 according to the invention is made of Fig.1 shown enlarged. In this first embodiment, the wing post 101 is formed in one piece together with the central seal 103, the central seal counter element 104 and the additional seal 107. This enables a particularly cost-effective manufacture of the wing post 101 according to the invention according to the first embodiment, for example in an injection molding machine or according to a similar method.

Fig.3 shows a wing post 101 according to a second embodiment of the invention, wherein for better illustration in the manner of an exploded view, the devices, central sealing counter element 104 and additional seal 107, which are designed separately in this second embodiment, are also shown in Fig.3 are shown.

Again, according to the second embodiment, in a manner analogous to the first embodiment, the wing post 101 is formed in one piece together with the central seal 103.

However, the separate provision of the central sealing counter element 104 and the additional seal 107 ensures in this case that materials optimized for the respective application purpose of these submissions can be used. For example, in such a multi-piece design of a wing post 101 according to the invention according to the second exemplary embodiment, it is possible to form the central sealing counter element 104 from a more elastic material, for example from a foam material. In this case, when such a central sealing counter element 104 formed separately from a foam material comes into contact with a central sealing 203 of a counter wing 200, its elasticity ensures an optimized sealing closure.

In a similar way, it can be provided that the separately designed additional seal 107 is designed in a brush-like manner or that an elastic, for example rubber-like material is provided for the additional seal 107. As soon as the additional seal 107 comes into contact with the counter-wing 200 in this case according to the second embodiment, a particularly smooth sliding of this additional seal 107 along the counter-wing 200 is then possible.
