Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic closure for use on a tubular bag having a dispensing opening, comprising a base with a spout disposed above the dispensing opening and an upper with a cap for sealing the spout tightly.
- tubular bags On the market today, a large number of tubular bags are represented, but the majority of which are made of multilayer films, especially those films that have at least one layer of paper, a layer of plastic and a layer of aluminum. These tubular bags are relatively pressure-resistant and are designed predominantly cubic.
- tubular bags which consist only of plastic film, on the market.
- tubular bags are common as refills for cosmetics.
- Tubular bags which are made of pure plastic films, usually either have no closure and for removal, only a portion of the tubular bag is cut away and the contents of the Tube bag changed into a container.
- tubular bags are made of plastic, which have a flange with spout and attached to a pure screw. Since, as already mentioned, these tubular bags either only once or at least only a few times must be opened and closed, usually only screw caps are used.
- Plastic closures consisting of a lower part with a spout and a cap connected to the lower part via a hinge are available on the market in any number of variants, but their attachment to tubular bags is out of the question.
- Plastic bag made of plastic are highly flexible and act accordingly on this, during transport and handling relatively large forces that lead to deformation of the tubular bag and increase accordingly the internal pressure. Pure hinged closures are usually unable to withstand these forces. For safety reasons, therefore, today usually only plastic closures of the type mentioned above are used on tubular bags.
- a closure with a spout with a terminal flange for attachment to a tubular bag is disclosed.
- a ring is rotatable and axially secured.
- a band between the ring and the screw cap is held together in a practically coiled manner before the initial opening via predetermined breaking point bridges. This band serves as a safeguard against loss of the cap, but here has the additional function of a guarantee band. Even after the initial opening the cap remains a pure screw cap.
- the plastic closure is designated overall by 1.
- the plastic closure 1 consists of a lower part 2, which is mounted on a tubular bag 4 and an upper part 3 which is connectable to the lower part 2.
- the tubular bag 4 shown here consists of a pure plastic film and is realized here as a tubular bag with a gable roof.
- the plastic closure according to the invention can also be applied to other tubular bags, irrespective of their shape and choice of material.
- the plastic closure according to the invention is suitable and designed for this purpose to be applied to tubular bags made of relatively highly flexible materials, to make sure that the closure does not open automatically even at high internal pressure.
- the tubular bag has a removal opening 5, which is stamped into the film of the tubular bag 4.
- the lower part 2 is correspondingly aligned so that it comes to rest relatively precisely over this opening and is either glued or welded on the film. If a welding connection is to be realized, then one provides the lower part with corresponding welding guide elements 24.
- the lower part 2 of the plastic closure 1, in the FIG. 3 is shown in detail, consists essentially of a circumferential, annular flange 20 which has on its underside already mentioned Schweissleitmaschine 24. From the flange 20 to the mouth 28, a spout 21 is present. This spout 21 is designed here as a so-called drinking spout.
- the spout 21 has a lower, upwardly directed from the flange first cylindrical portion 22, which is followed by a tapered, curved, conical part 23.
- a circumferential positive-locking means 25 is formed or formed.
- This circumferential positive locking means may, for example, as shown here in the FIG. 3 shown holding stroke or about the same position a circumferential retaining bead. Especially if this is a Holding bead acts, this can also be divided into sections, so that the retaining bead is not designed to be continuous.
- an external thread 26 extends.
- This external thread 26 may consist of a single thread, which extends relatively flat and extends approximately 360 ° or from several shorter thread sections , which are designed steeper so that the same stroke is achieved with a smaller angle of rotation.
- the cylindrical portion 22 includes an upwardly tapering, curved and thus conical part 23 at.
- This part 23 of the spout represents that part which the user is leading while drinking in the mouth or mouth.
- the upper edge of this conical part 23 is provided with a senatorwulst 27, which essentially serves as injury protection for the user.
- the spout which is open at the top, accordingly has a drinking mouth 28.
- the drinking mouth 28 preferably has an inwardly and downwardly drawn down, circumferential, annular sealing wall 29. This sealing wall 29 cooperates with the cap 40 with a corresponding seal.
- the so-called upper part is for itself in the FIG. 4 represented in a completely open, the manufacturing position corresponding form.
- the upper part consists essentially of three elements, namely on the one hand from a retaining ring 30 and the other from a cap 40, wherein both parts via a third element, namely a tension band 31 are interconnected.
- a third element namely a tension band 31 are interconnected.
- the retaining ring 30 consists essentially of a cylindrical annular wall 32. This cylindrical annular wall 32 is less high than the cylindrical portion 22 of the spout 21. The retaining ring 30 covers normally about 50-75% of the cylindrical portion 22 of the spout 21 from.
- a circumferential positive locking means 33 which is realized here as a retaining bead. This retaining bead 33 has the shape of a sawtooth in cross section.
- the corresponding peripheral positive locking means 25 on the lower part 2 is designed in accordance with the same cross-section.
- the positive locking means 25 and 33 may also be reversed, as described above, that is, in the retaining ring, a corresponding groove could be mounted on the inside and on the cylindrical portion 22 of the spout 21 could accordingly a circumferential bead be present and also here this retaining bead could have a sawtooth cross-section. Since normally the wall thickness of the spout 21 is greater than the wall thickness of the retaining ring 30, but you will choose the arrangements of the holding means, as shown here.
- a recess 34 mounted in the cylindrical annular wall 32.
- the recess 34 diametrically opposite the outside of the retaining ring 30 is formed an attachment point 35 on which the aforementioned clamping band 31 engages.
- the tension band may additionally be provided with a film hinge 36.
- the clamping band 31 is in turn formed on a point of attachment 35 on the cap 40 and also here, a corresponding film hinge may be present.
- the cap 40 of the upper part 3 has a jacket wall 41, which may be designed purely cylindrical in principle, but here, for aesthetic reasons, something resembles the shape of the spout, is in a top surface 42 on.
- a top surface 42 On the inside of this top surface 42 can be seen on an annular, perpendicularly projecting wall 43, which is a seal, which in accordance with sealing on the inside of the sealing wall 29 of the spout 21 hineinzieuragen in the mouth 28 when the shutter is closed.
- This seal 43 is usually referred to in the jargon as a sealing olive. Corresponding is this arched on the outside or provided with appropriate sealing lips.
- the cap 40 is provided on the inside of the jacket wall 41 with an internal thread 48.
- the cap 40 becomes a screw cap, although the top part collectively forms a hinge closure.
- This hinge closure has a cap and designed as a retaining ring 30 closure bottom part, but the tension band 31 is connected to the cap 40.
- a guarantee element 45 in the form of a shield 45 is formed via predetermined breaking point bridges 44.
- a tear-off tab 46 is integrally formed.
- the shield 45 has on an inner side again a part of a positive locking means, which engages in the assembled state of the closure in the corresponding positive engagement means 25 of the lower part.
- the cap 40 When the closure according to the invention is opened, the cap 40 is first turned, with the retaining ring 30 also rotating at the same time. During this rotational movement, the cap 40 performs an axial movement, while the retaining ring 30 performs no axial movement. Accordingly, the tension band 31 is completely stretched and tensioned. If this screwing movement of the cap is carried out, then the lower edge 47 of the jacket wall 41 of the cap 40 comes to rest approximately at the level of the transition from the cylindrical part 22 to the tapered, curved conical part 23. Previously, however, the breaking points 44 have already been destroyed with the help of the tear-off tab 46 and thus the sign 45 has been torn off so that there is no longer any positive connection between the cap 40 and the lower part 2.
- the cap can be opened without prior tearing off of the guarantee element 45, since the occurring here, relative, axial displacements between the cap 40 and the retaining ring 30 to destroy the predetermined breaking point bridges 44.
- this requires a greater effort. In both cases, however, this will remove the shield 45 and the guarantee element has exercised its integrity function.
- the closure according to the invention is first put together before being applied to the tubular bag as described above and then welded onto the tubular bag which has not yet been completely finished, then the tubular bag can be filled and finally closed by welding, so that an aseptic filling of the tube is obtained Tubular bag can guarantee. Furthermore, you get a tubular bag with a closure that withstands high internal pressures on the one hand and on the other hand also allows a desired drinking comfort, as well as a secure reclosure of the bag. While drinking, just open the screw cap but if you want to transport the not completely emptied tubular bag or store in the refrigerator, so you will perform the screwing and thus reach the secured position.
- the inventive closure thus perfectly combines a conventional screw cap with a known snap hinge closure.

Description
The present invention relates to a plastic closure for use on a tubular bag having a dispensing opening, comprising a base with a spout disposed above the dispensing opening and an upper with a cap for sealing the spout tightly.
On the market today, a large number of tubular bags are represented, but the majority of which are made of multilayer films, especially those films that have at least one layer of paper, a layer of plastic and a layer of aluminum. These tubular bags are relatively pressure-resistant and are designed predominantly cubic.
For some time, however, tubular bags, which consist only of plastic film, on the market. Tubular bags, which are made of pure plastic films, usually either have no closure and for removal, only a portion of the tubular bag is cut away and the contents of the Tube bag changed into a container. Diese Aufgabe löst ein Kunststoffverschluss gemäss Patentanspruch 1.The Applicant will now bring tubular bags made of pure plastic film on the market, which should be suitable as a drinking container. This requires that such tubing be provided with a plastic closure, which are provided for quick opening and closing with a snap hinge closure, but adapted so that it can withstand even higher pressures, without in the process of losing grip. This object is achieved by a plastic closure according to
In principle, it would also be conceivable to connect the cap directly to the grommet or to the flange of the lower part via a relatively long, so-called Schlackerband. Such bands serve only as a loss of security, but have no effect on the closing movement. Therefore, it is proposed here to connect the cap via a tension band with a retaining ring which is rotatably and axially fixed on the cylindrical part of the spout.

The plastic closure is designated overall by 1. The
The tubular bag 4 shown here consists of a pure plastic film and is realized here as a tubular bag with a gable roof. Of course, the plastic closure according to the invention can also be applied to other tubular bags, irrespective of their shape and choice of material. However, the plastic closure according to the invention is suitable and designed for this purpose to be applied to tubular bags made of relatively highly flexible materials, to make sure that the closure does not open automatically even at high internal pressure.
The tubular bag has a removal opening 5, which is stamped into the film of the tubular bag 4.
Above the encircling form-fitting means 25 but still in the region of the
Above the
The retaining
Furthermore, it can be seen on the retaining
The
Significantly, however, that the
At the
When the closure according to the invention is opened, the
After completion of the screwing on the
When closing the closure according to the invention, the reverse sequence of the opening movement described above takes place.
Thanks to this unusual combination, you get several advantages. If the closure according to the invention is first put together before being applied to the tubular bag as described above and then welded onto the tubular bag which has not yet been completely finished, then the tubular bag can be filled and finally closed by welding, so that an aseptic filling of the tube is obtained Tubular bag can guarantee. The inventive closure thus perfectly combines a conventional screw cap with a known snap hinge closure.
