Die Abmessungen dieser Distanzstücke hängen gegebenenfalls davon ab, welche Dimension die entsprechenden Arbeitselemente der Spindeln haben. So ist es durchaus möglich, die Ausdehnung der Arbeitselemente bei gegebener Konstruktion zu erhöhen, was durch den erfindungsgemäß mittig angeordneten Träger 2 ohne weiteres möglich ist. Dies ergibt insgesamt eine erhebliche Verbesserung der Flexibilität hinsichtlich der Konfiguration einer Maschine.

dass der Träger (2) eine sich von einer zur anderen Arbeitsstelle der Doppelspindeleinheit (1) erstreckende Quertraverse (20) aufweist, die sich mittels justierbarer Füße (26) auf dem Untergrund abstützt,
dass der Träger (2) des Weiteren ein zentral angeordnetes Hohlprofil (21) besitzt, das sich vertikal von der Quertraverse (20) aus erstreckt und
dass das Hohlprofil (21) mindestens zur Aufnahme einer Sputenabtransporteinrichtung (31, 33) sowie der Befestigung einer Spuleinrichtung (3) ausgebildet ist.
