- the concave longitudinal profile thus has a cradle shape adapted to receive the target 2 and guide it during its projection movement to ensure the regularity of the guide, the bearing surface is advantageously in an arc.
- the arc of the circle in question is preferably centered on the axis of rotation 4.
- the width of the bearing surface 12 is not limited but is advantageously equal to or slightly greater than the thickness of the portion of the target 2.
- the apparatus comprises a base piece 13 having a flank 14 oriented substantially perpendicular to the bearing surface 12 so as to constitute a limiting surface of the deflection of the target 2 bearing on the bearing surface 12. Furthermore, the base part 13 constitutes a first portion of the bearing surface 12. Advantageously, this first portion is located upstream of a second portion in the direction of rotation of the throwing arm when it is in the projection phase. Thus, the first portion formed in the base piece 13 constitutes the first support element which receives the target 2 during its projection. The support is continued by a second portion formed in another room here constituted for example by a flap 15.
- the illustrated flap 15 comprises a flank portion 16 facing vis-à-vis the sidewall 14 of the base part 13 so as to constitute a limitation to the movement of the target 2 by the target face 2 opposite the face opposite the sidewall 14.
- the flap 15 comprises the second portion involved in the production of the surface of support 12.
- the flap 15 is capable of mobility here in rotation relative to the fixed base part 13 in the example with respect to the base 7 of the launcher.
- the rotational mobility provides the possibility of an adjustment of the relative position of the flap 15 and the base part 13.
- these two constituent parts of the apparatus are capable of fitting with a variable amplitude so as to modify their overlap surface at the level of the bearing surface 12.
- the bearing surface 12 can be shortened by passing a part of the second portion of the bearing surface 12 in superposition (advantageously from below the first portion of the bearing surface 12) in overlap of the base part 13.
- any means for adjusting the rotation of the shutter 15 is within the scope of the invention.
- the flap 15 is pivotally mounted about an axis advantageously parallel or identical to the axis of rotation 4 of the throwing arm 1.
