Description

  • La présente invention concerne un ensemble formant conteneur avec palette, comprenant une palette en carton ondulé ou autre matériau semi rigide et une ceinture également en carton, la ceinture et la palette étant fixées l'une à l'autre ; l'invention vise plus particulièrement le moyen de liaison de la ceinture à la palette.
  • Pour le transport d'objets lourds ou encombrants, on utilise des palettes constituées d'un plateau pourvu de supports en forme de plots, de patins ou de traverses. Ceux-ci sont disposés sous le plateau de manière à permettre le passage des fourches d'un engin de manutention. Les palettes sont généralement en bois mais on trouve aussi des palettes dont le plateau est en carton ondulé épais et les supports aussi en carton. Dans ce cas, des éléments de renfort sont généralement associés aux supports pour en améliorer la résistance à la charge verticale. Un exemple de réalisation de support comprend un fourreau formant une traverse s'étendant d'un bord à l'autre du plateau avec des blocs répartis à l'intérieur du fourreau et suffisamment résistants pour supporter les charges placées sur le plateau de la palette.
  • On peut combiner ce dernier type de palette avec une caisse ou une ceinture également en carton pour contenir des charges. Il s'agit alors d'assurer le maintien de la caisse pendant les opérations de manutention. Des solutions existent déjà sur le moyen de rendre la caisse solidaire du plateau de manière à ce que, pendant le transport notamment mais plus généralement pendant toute la durée d'utilisation, l'emballage et la palette forment un ensemble indissociable. La réalisation de ce type de caisse palette peut être cependant complexe dans la mesure où le carton est un matériau moins résistant que le bois. En raison de pliages élaborés, le montage peut ne pas être simple.
  • Le présent déposant a déjà proposé par exemple un assemblage décrit dans le brevet FR 2 789 975 : une caisse est placée sur une palette et est fixée à la palette. La caisse comprend une ceinture et des rabats d'extrémité inférieurs, prolongeant chacun une paroi de la ceinture vers le bas. Le plateau de la palette présente deux interstices plats de réception et de retenue de rabats d'extrémité de la caisse. Les deux interstices plats s'étendent sensiblement parallèlement au plan du plateau et débouchent par des fentes respectives dans des côtés opposés avant et arrière du plateau.
  • Un autre exemple est décrit dans le brevet FR 2 883 847 où le plateau de la palette comprend au moins une languette qui lui est solidaire et est découpée dans la plaque de carton du plateau pour le verrouillage d'un emballage reposant sur la palette. De préférence, le plateau comprend deux languettes le long de deux côtés opposés coopérant avec des encoches ménagées le long des arêtes entre la ceinture et le fond de l'emballage.
  • La demanderesse s'est fixé comme objectif la réalisation d'un conteneur avec palette, essentiellement en carton ou autre matériau semi-rigide, comportant un moyen de retenue ou de verrouillage de la ceinture du conteneur à la palette et permettant le montage de l'ensemble de façon aussi simple et aisé que possible. En outre, il serait souhaitable que le moyen de fixation ne demande la mise en place d'aucune pièce rapportée de manière à ce que l'ensemble soit aussi économique que possible.
  • Un conteneur avec palette conforme à l'invention, en carton ou autre matériau semi rigide, comprenant une palette formée d'un plateau et de supports fixés sous le plateau, un des supports présentant un panneau latéral le long d'un bord de la palette, une ceinture avec des panneaux entourant le plateau et s'étendant verticalement par rapport à lui, un premier panneau de la ceinture étant adjacent audit panneau latéral du support, est caractérisé par le fait que le premier panneau de ceinture comprend un volet avec un tenon, pivotant autour d'un axe inférieur parallèle au plateau, le panneau latéral de support comportant un volet de support avec mortaise, pivotant autour d'un axe supérieur parallèle au plateau, le tenon étant inséré dans la mortaise et le tenon et la mortaise formant ainsi un moyen de retenue de la ceinture à la palette.
  • Lors des opérations de manutention, le conteneur subit des chocs ou est soumis à des efforts qui risquent de séparer la ceinture de la palette. Par ce moyen de retenue de mise en oeuvre très simple, on assure le maintien de la ceinture en place.
  • De préférence, afin de renforcer la liaison, le conteneur comprend un deuxième moyen de retenue entre un deuxième panneau de la ceinture et un volet de support adjacent audit deuxième panneau.
  • Conformément à une caractéristique, le volet avec tenon est découpé dans ledit premier panneau à la manière d'une fenêtre.
  • Conformément à une autre caractéristique le volet avec mortaise est découpé dans le panneau latéral de support à la manière d'une fenêtre.
  • On décrit maintenant un exemple de réalisation non limitatif de l'invention en référence aux dessins sur lesquels :
    • La figure 1 représente une palette,
    • La figure 2 représente une ceinture de forme adaptée à venir se placer sur la palette,
    • La figure 3 montre le conteneur formé de la ceinture sur la palette,
    • La figure 4 montre le volet avec tenon découpé dans le panneau de la ceinture,
    • La figure 5 montre le volet avec mortaise découpé dans le flanc du support,
    • La figure 6 montre en coupe selon AA de la figure 3, le moyen de retenue formé par le tenon du volet avec tenon du panneau de la ceinture, engagé dans la mortaise du volet avec mortaise du support.
  • La figure 1 montre une palette 1 en carton, notamment ondulé, ou autre matériau semi rigide. La palette comprend ainsi un plateau 2 sur la face inférieure duquel sont fixées des traverses 5 formant supports de palette. Les traverses, ici au nombre de trois permettent le passage des fourches d'un engin de manutention et de levage. Eventuellement, les traverses présentent des ouvertures pour donner un accès aux fourches de l'engin perpendiculairement aux traverses 5. Elles n'en ont pas ici. Les traverses comprennent un fourreau en carton de forme parallélépipédique. A l'intérieur du fourreau sont disposés des renforts 55 agencés pour résister aux charges placées sur la palette. Les deux traverses latérales sont au bord du plateau 2. Le flanc latéral extérieur 51 de ces deux traverses est disposé le long du bord du plateau, sans retrait vers l'intérieur du fourreau ou avec un retrait limité.
  • La figure 2 montre une ceinture 3 parallélépipédique, formée de panneaux en carton ondulé ou autre matériau semi rigide. La palette est placée à l'intérieur de la ceinture, ménageant ainsi un volume de chargement. Les panneaux de la ceinture sont ouverts le long de leur bord inférieur pour permettre l'accès à l'espace ménagé entre les traverses 5 par des fourches de levage.
  • Dans le premier panneau 31 de la ceinture 3, le long de son bord inférieur on a découpé un volet 33, articulé autour d'une ligne de pliage 32, horizontale. La ligne de pliage forme le bord inférieur du volet. Le volet est en forme de U inversé avec un tenon 34 sur le bord parallèle à la ligne de pliage 32, figure 4.
  • En vis-à-vis du volet 33, sur le flanc latéral formé par le panneau latéral 51 du fourreau du support 5, on a découpé un volet 53, en forme de U. Ce volet est articulé autour d'une ligne de pliage 52 horizontale. La ligne de pliage 52 forme le bord supérieur du volet 53. Le volet 53 comprend une fente 54 formant mortaise, figure 5.
  • La figure 6 montre en coupe le moyen de retenue de la ceinture à la palette. On voit que le volet 33 a été incliné vers l'intérieur du fourreau du support 5 autour de la ligne de pliage 32. Le tenon 34 du volet a été introduit dans la mortaise 54 du volet 53 adjacent, qui a été incliné vers l'intérieur du fourreau.
  • Par ce montage, tout déplacement vers le haut du panneau 31 de la ceinture est empêché par le volet 33 qui vient en butée contre le volet 53.
  • Un moyen de retenue supplémentaire est avantageusement prévu sur le deuxième panneau de la ceinture, opposé au premier.

Claims (4)

  1. Conteneur avec palette en carton ou autre matériau semi rigide, comprenant une palette (1) formée d'un plateau (2) et de supports (5) fixés sous le plateau, un des supports présentant un panneau (51) latéral le long d'un bord de la palette, une ceinture (3) avec des panneaux entourant le plateau et s'étendant verticalement par rapport à lui, un premier panneau (31) de la ceinture (3) étant adjacent audit panneau (51) latéral du support, le premier panneau (31) de ceinture comprenant un volet (33) avec un tenon (34), pivotant autour d'une axe (32) inférieur parallèle au plateau (2), caractérisé par le fait que le panneau (51) latéral de support comporte un volet (53) de support avec mortaise (54), pivotant autour d'un axe (52) supérieur parallèle au plateau, le tenon (34) étant inséré dans la mortaise (54) et le tenon (34) et la mortaise (54) formant ainsi un moyen de retenue de la ceinture à la palette.
  2. Conteneur selon la revendication précédente dont le volet (33) avec tenon est découpé dans ledit premier panneau.
  3. Conteneur selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2 dont le volet (53) avec mortaise est découpé dans le panneau latéral de support.
  4. Conteneur selon l'une des revendications précédentes dont la ceinture (3) comprend un deuxième moyen de retenue entre un deuxième panneau de la ceinture et un volet de support adjacent audit deuxième panneau.
