Abstract
L'invention concerne un élément de retenue pour un élément vitré (20) plat sans cadre, par exemple un élément de porte ou élément de paroi, comprenant un profilé de retenue (1) qui présente une zone de base (2) et deux zones latérales (3, 4) qui forment un logement en forme de U pour une zone de bord de l'élément vitré (20). Selon l'invention, des coins adhésifs (5, 6) opposés par paires qui sont soumis à une force de compression dirigée sur les surfaces (21) de l'élément vitré (20) par un étrier de retenue (7) élastiquement tendu sont disposés sur la zone de bord de l'élément vitré (20) à l'intérieur du profilé de retenue (1).
