Die Frontwand 22 der Sockelverkleidung 19 ist dabei in etwa flächenbündig mit einer Frontseite 28 der Gerätetür 1 ausgerichtet. Claims (10)

  1. Dishwasher, in particular a free-standing dishwasher or a high-level built-in dishwasher, having an appliance door (1) and at the bottom a plinth cover (19), said plinth cover having a top wall (20) which faces a lower edge (25) of the appliance door (1) and is spaced from the lower edge (25) of the appliance door (1) to allow for an opening movement of the appliance door (1) across a free movement gap (23), characterised in that the plinth cover (28) at the bottom is aligned essentially flush with the appliance front face and the dishwasher has at least one lighting element (29) with which the movement gap (23) between the lower edge (25) of the appliance door (1) and the top wall (20) of the plinth cover (19) can be illuminated, wherein the lighting element (29) is positioned inside the dishwasher behind the appliance front face (28) of the appliance door (1).
  2. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterised in that the top wall (20) of the plinth cover (19) is configured as a reflector which deflects the light of the lighting element (29) essentially horizontally outwards through the movement gap (23).
  3. Dishwasher according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the profile shape of the top wall (20) of the plinth cover (19) follows an approximate shape of the pivoting movement of the lower edge (25) of the appliance door (1).
  4. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lighting element (29) is placed at a height difference (Δh) above the lower edge (25) of the appliance door (1).
  5. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lighting element (29) is located in a mounting depth direction (x) by an offset dimension (a) behind the appliance front face (28) of the dishwasher (1).
  6. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lighting element (29) is retained at a rear face of the appliance door (1), which faces away from the front face (28) of the appliance.
  7. Dishwasher according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the lighting element (29) is retained independently of the appliance door (1) at a fixed housing component (5) of the dishwasher.
  8. Dishwasher according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the lighting element (29) has a light guide (33) having at least one optical interface (35) into which the light of a light source (37) can be introduced.
  9. Dishwasher according to claim 8, characterised in that the light guide (33) extends in the lateral direction (y) of the appliance essentially over the entire width of the dishwasher.
  10. Dishwasher according to claim 8 or 9, characterised in that in the lateral direction (y) of the appliance, the light guide (33) has at its opposing front faces optical interfaces (35) at which one light source (37) is disposed in each case.
