Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for
- silaoxacycles having structural units in which the silicon and oxygen atoms are linked together via a CH 2 group.
- Silaoxacycles in which silicon and oxygen atoms via a. CH 2 group are excellent reagents for the preparation of (hydroxymethyl) polysiloxanes by termination of silicone oils according to the following reaction equation:
- reaction I is a smooth addition reaction without condensation products, which would then have to be removed.
- the carbinol oil terminated with Si-CH 2 -OH groups prepared in this way is excellently suitable for the preparation of "AA-BB" polymers, for example by reaction with diisocyanates, provided that the termination is quantitative, since each Si-OH Group which is not terminated with a Si-CH 2 -OH group, in which subsequent production of AA-BB polymers is reacted by means of diisocyanates to a Si-OC (O) -NH group whose Si-O bond is a hydrolysis-sensitive breakpoint. Termination succeeds the smoother the purer the silaoxacycle used is.
- the literature describes various methods for preparing silaoxacycles in which the silicon and oxygen atoms are linked together via a CH 2 group.
- An ester of the structure acyl-OR '-SiR''2-OR''' is subjected to a transesterification reaction with elimination of an ester acyl OR ''', which is distilled out of the reaction mixture, the chain length distribution p of the product controlled by the degree to which the transesterification is driven, and as regulators for limiting the degree of transesterification, high-boiling esters, such as ethyl benzoate, ethyl benzoate or ethyl laurate, which cause a blocking of the * end groups of the product by adding the acyl radical and the alkoxy of the added high-boiling ester as * end groups are incorporated into the product.
- high-boiling esters such as ethyl benzoate, ethyl benzoate or ethyl laurate, which cause a blocking of the * end groups of the product by adding the acyl radical and the alkoxy of the added high-b

Description
Reaktion I
und dann langsam nach erneutem Zusatz von p-Toluolsulfonsäure unter Ethanolabspaltung destilliert wurde (Reaktion III) ;
R ktion III
1

Me-C(=0) - [0-CH2-Si (0-CH2-Si (OMe) 3)2] -OMe
m = 4 (verzweigt, ausgewähltes Beispiel) :

allgemeinen Formel I umgesetzt werden.
Ammoniak, Alkylammoniumhydroxid, Aminbase, Guanidinbase,
Amidinbase oder basische Ionenaustauscherharze eingesetzt.
Beispiele für neutralisierende Basen sind Natriumhydrogen- carbonat, Natriumcarbonat , Bariumcarbonat , Kaliumhydrogen- carbonat, Kaliumcarbonat , Calciumcarbonat, Calciumhydroxid, Lithiumhydroxid, Magne iumoxid, Ammoniak, Triethylamin,
Ethylendiamin, Cyclohexylamin, Pyridin, Piperidin, DBN, DBU, DABCO, Guanidin oder Tetramethylguanidin und basische
Ionenaustauscher .
kristallisieren.
