Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung (61) zur Bestimmung eines Einspritzmengenunterschieds bei einem Verbrennungsmotor (1) mit mehreren Zylindern (2-5). Der Verbrennungsmotor (1) umfasst ein Druckrohr (14) zur Zuführung von Kraftstoff zu Einspritzventilen (6-9) der mehreren Zylinder (2-5). Für zumindest einen ersten Zylinder und einen zweiten Zylinder der mehreren Zylinder (2-5) werden jeweils mehrere zeitlich aufeinanderfolgende erste Druckwerte (23) in dem Druckrohr (14) vor einer Kraftstoffeinspritzung (22) in den jeweiligen Zylinder erfasst und mehrere zeitlich aufeinanderfolgende zweite Druckwerte (24) in dem Druckrohr (14) nach der Kraftstoffeinspritzung (22) in den jeweiligen Zylinder erfasst. Die mehreren ersten Druckwerte (23) und die mehreren zweiten Druckwerte (24) werden jeweils für den jeweiligen Zylinder statistisch analysiert und ein Druckdifferenzwert (25) wird für den jeweiligen Zylinder auf der Grundlage der mehreren ersten Druckwerte (23) und der mehren zweiten Druckwerte (24) bestimmt, wenn die mehreren ersten Druckwerte (23) und die mehreren zweiten Druckwerte (24) vorbestimmte statistische Eigenschaften erfüllen. In Abhängigkeit von den Druckdifferenzwerten (25) der jeweiligen Zylinder werden Einspritzmengenunterschiede zwischen den Zylindern bestimmt.
