Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de laminage à chaud d'une brame (1), en particulier d'une brame d'acier, ladite brame (1) subissant au moins deux déformations à différentes températures dans un laminoir à chaud (2) et étant refroidie entre deux déformations. Selon l'invention, pour empêcher une formation prématurée de ferrite lors du laminage à chaud, la brame (1) est refroidie de telle sorte que ses zones d'extrémité latérales (3, 4) sont soumises à une puissance de refroidissement réduite par rapport à une zone centrale (5) de la brame (1). L'invention concerne en outre un laminoir à chaud (2) pour laminer à chaud une brame.
