- Device for setting fastening elements (1) comprising a rivet ram (17), a feed shaft rod (14), a drive unit (10), by means of which said feed shaft rod (14) can be driven to rotate, at least one link (16, 31) and a link control that has a control pin (32, 40) assigned to the link or one of the links (16, 31), and by means of which, when said feed shaft rod (14) is rotated, said rivet ram (17) is movable between a retracted pre-installation position and an advanced installation position, characterized in that mounted to said feed shaft rod (14) is an axial force transmission element (32), that is stationary in the axial direction relative to said feed shaft rod (14) and in that a pressure force sensor unit (18) is present which, in a setting position of the feed shaft rod (14) with said axial force transmission element (32), can be acted upon by a pressing force exerted on said feed shaft rod (14) via a mechanical flux chain.
- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said flux chain includes said link control (13, 16, 31; 20, 32, 40).
- Device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said pressure force sensor unit (18) includes a pressure sensor (52) and there is provided at least one axially displaceably mounted sliding element (49), disposed between the pressure sensor (52) as well as the force transmission element (32).
- Device according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that said axial force transmission element is a control pin (32) of said link control.
- Device according to claim 4, characterized in that said link control includes a feed link (16) as well as a feed control pin (32) operable to effect axial movement of said feed shaft rod (14) between a retracted starting position and an advanced installation position and in that said feed control pin (32) is the axial force transmission element.
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the pressure force sensor unit (18) is disposed in a region of said feed shaft rod (14) facing away from an exit face (56).
- Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that there is provided a release display (53), operable to output a release signal when a pre-determined minimum setting force acting upon said pressure force sensor unit (18) is reached or exceeded.
