Die Erfindung betrifft eine Presszange zum Bearbeiten eines Werkstücks, eine Komponente einer Presszange und ein Presszangenset. Insbesondere handelt es sich um eine Presszange zum Einpressen mehrerer Kerben auf dem Umfang eines Kontaktelements. Hierzu besitzt die Presszange mindestens drei in unterschiedliche Richtungen betätigbare Pressstempel, welche plastische Verformungen des Werkstücks, insbesondere des Kontaktelements, herbeiführen. Bei den gattungsgemäßen Presszangen kann gewünscht sein, dass nicht der gesamte Umfang des Kontaktelements verformt wird, sondern gezielt mehrere einzelne Kerben auf dem Umfang des Kontaktelements in möglichst gleichmäßiger Weise und sehr feinfühlig wählbarer Einpresstiefe in das Kontaktelement eingebracht werden. Die entstehenden Kerben sollen einerseits den mit dem Kontaktelement zu verbindenden Leiter möglichst wenig beschädigen oder verformen. Andererseits soll eine feste Verbindung zwischen Kontaktelement und Leiter herbeigeführt werden. Diese gegenläufigen Forderungen sind beispielsweise besonders problematisch, wenn mit der Presszange Kupplungsteile als Kontaktelemente mit Lichtwellenleitern, insbesondere Glasfaserleitern oder auch Polymerleitern, zu verbinden sind. Erfindungsgemäß wird erstmals für eine Presszange mit mindestens drei in unterschiedliche Richtungen betätigten Pressstempeln eine Auswechselbarkeit der Pressstempel ermöglicht, wodurch beispielsweise Pressstempel mit unterschiedlichen Presskonturen und/oder unterschiedlichen Einpresstiefen in Verbindung mit ein- und demselben Zangenkopf und Presszangenkörper verwendet werden können. Hierdurch ergibt sich bspw. eine Erweiterung der Benutzungsmöglichkeiten der Presszange für unterschiedliche Werkstücke, die Erzeugung von unterschiedlichen Kerben und/oder die Erweiterung der Möglichkeiten für die herbeiführbaren Einpresstiefen. Hierbei kann das Einführen durch geeignete Führungs- oder Zentriereinrichtungen oder -schrägen oder -phasen unterstützt werden. Möglich ist auch, dass abweichend zu den dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen die Pressstempel 30 an der Wechselkassette in einer vorbestimmten radialen Montagestellung gehalten sind, was durch ein Federelement oder ein entsprechendes Rast- oder Halteelement bewerkstelligt werden kann. Claims (17)
- Exchangeable magazine (46) for crimping pliers (1) for crimping of a workpiece, especially for impressing notches onto a circumference of a contact element, with at least three crimping dies (30) guided from different sides in the direction of a receptacle (67) for a workpiece, characterised in that the crimping dies (30) have freely accessible opposite actuation surfaces (34, 41), which, for the exchangeable magazine (46) mounted to a pliers head, cooperate with actuation surfaces (33, 35) of the pliers head (2) to apply pressure forces to the crimping dies (30).

- Exchangeable magazine (46) according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the guiding bolts (57) have a head (58) which contacts the guiding plate (53) on the side opposite to the crimping dies (30).
- Exchangeable magazine (46) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base body (51) is formed with a cover (annular disc 62).
- Exchangeable magazine (46) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connecting area (65) is formed with screws (45) held at the base body (51), which can be screwed into threaded bores of the pliers head (2).
- Exchangeable magazine (46) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the crimping dies (30) extend from the base body (51) in a direction transverse to a plane of movement of the crimping dies (30).
