Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of shelters for amenity basins adopting the shape of a rotunda and in particular the adaptations to achieve the rotating roof elements in the best conditions.
- these shelters comprise rotating roof elements each forming an angular portion of the shelter and rotating about the same vertical axis.
- These roof elements comprise a circular lower edge resting on the ground, a cylindrical panel, as well as profiles starting from the upper edge of the panel and joining to form an angular portion of roof, the connecting ends of said roof elements being rotatably mounted. around the same vertical axis.
- the rotary elements of the roof participating in this rotunda are cantilevered with a base resting on the ground or on the beach surrounding the basin and a high end pivotally connected about a vertical axis common to a plurality of rotating roof elements.
- This vertical axis constitutes a second support point offset from the first and must be dimensioned for this purpose without harming the aesthetics.
- Another solution is to provide a fixed internal structure for supporting said roof elements.
- each rotary roof angular element comprising a frame framing a cylindrical filling panel, the frame comprising a circular lower edge resting on the ground, an upper edge from which at least two profiles project to the axis of rotation which joins to form with said upper edge a frame for an angular portion of roofing filling panel, said roof elements being rotatably mounted about the same vertical axis.
- This shelter is remarkable in that each frame framing a cylindrical filler panel is equipped with a bent section along the axis of rotation of the element and disposed in its inner part between the lower edge and the upper edge of a hand common.
- this additional section makes it possible to stiffen the reinforcement and offers a support surface to the filler panel reinforcing those proposed by the frame flanking said panel.
- the shelter of the invention avoids a technological solution of oversizing the reinforcements or the thickness of the panels, which would increase costs and reduce the maneuverability.
- This shelter can take the form of a complete rotunda arranged for example above a spa or semi rotunda disposed at the end of a high shelter.
- this shelter comprises a vertical shaft on which are rotated said rotatable roof elements arranged below.
- the shelter adopts the shape of a complete rotunda, it comprises an outer arch 300 forming gantry and supporting at its middle portion said vertical shaft.
- an additional external support structure is particularly advantageous in that it avoids the use of an inner support frame. In addition, it avoids oversizing and fixing one or more roof elements to assume this function. In addition, by avoiding making fixed one of the roof elements for support purposes, it ensures a total angular mobility of all the roof elements for a non-limiting positioning of the retracted assembly.
- said frame has an assembly of three uprights and three half-beams arranged at 120 degrees.
- the upper part of the rotating roof elements takes up the slope or the curve of said frame.
- the shelter adopts a trundle configuration where the roof elements adopt a decreasing size to allow their retraction inside a single.
- the shelter adopts the shape of a semi-rotunda disposed at the end of a high shelter
- the upper end of said vertical shaft is attached to an arch belonging to the frame of an element non-rotating roof and larger than the largest of the rotating roof elements.
- the high ends of said angular roof elements are equipped with a connecting piece equipped with at least one flange preformed vertically with an orifice to form a guide sleeve which is threaded on the shaft, said sleeve has a thickness less than or equal to half of the connecting piece so that the reversal of the connecting piece symmetrically allows the pivot connection on the same shaft of a roof element angular dimension identical.
- This feature allows the use of identical roof elements and thus reduces the cost of a rotunda. In addition, it allows to use the same connecting pieces for different roof elements. Such a feature is particularly suitable for two identical roof elements arranged vis-à-vis. The next pair of roof elements is smaller but can use identical connecting pieces and put in place according to the same principle at a lower height along said shaft and so on.
- said shelter is also remarkable in that it comprises two types of connecting pieces having sleeves arranged symmetrically on either side of the plane of symmetry of the upper part of the roof elements and used according to the side to which retracts said element.
- the connecting piece is equipped with two sleeves angularly offset on the same radius and offset in height so that, depending on the selected sleeve, the height with which the element of roofing said shaft differs, thus allowing the pivoting of roof elements of identical dimensions.
- Said angular offset makes it possible to increase the possibilities of angular displacement of a roof element with respect to its vis-à-vis arranged symmetrically.
- the upper part of the roof elements comprises two ends of two sections whose connection is provided by said connecting piece.
- Said connecting piece thus has several functions and reduces the number of parts required.
- shelter referenced A is of the type that opens and closes above a pleasure pool such as a spa not shown.
- This shelter A is divided into a plurality of roof elements 100 resting on the ground S (or on a beach surrounding the basin) and whose upper part is supported and pivots on a shaft 200 supported by an outer and upper hyperstructure composed of a tripod 300 independent of the roof elements 100 and linked thereto by means of the single central shaft 200.
- Said gantry has an assembly of three uprights 310 and three half-beams 320 arranged at 120 degrees.

- each frame surrounding a cylindrical filler panel is equipped with a curved section C along the axis of rotation of the element and which, arranged in the inner part between the lower edge and the upper edge, forms a handrail
- the various roofing elements are dimensioned angularly so that their flange coincides once every two with the plane in which an amount 310 and the associated beam 320 and the gantry 300 are inscribed.
- the largest roofing element 100 comprises a third portion 140 forming a facade consisting of transverse panels sized to ensure the closure of the volume of the shelter A despite the reduced size of the smallest roof element joining said facade in closed position.
- the shelter (or the shelter portion) referenced A 'as a whole consists of a plurality of high roof elements referenced E' and adopts at one end a semi-rotunda shape R '.
- the shelter A ' is formed of rectilinear roof elements E1' capable of moving along the double arrow F1 'in translation over its basin and roof elements E2' forming angular portions of the roof. semi-rotunda R 'and capable of moving along the double arrow F2' in rotation about the same axis materialized by the shaft 100 '.

Description
The present invention relates to the field of shelters for amenity basins adopting the shape of a rotunda and in particular the adaptations to achieve the rotating roof elements in the best conditions.
To do this, these shelters comprise rotating roof elements each forming an angular portion of the shelter and rotating about the same vertical axis. These roof elements comprise a circular lower edge resting on the ground, a cylindrical panel, as well as profiles starting from the upper edge of the panel and joining to form an angular portion of roof, the connecting ends of said roof elements being rotatably mounted. around the same vertical axis.
Unlike conventional roof elements that rest on either side of the basin and therefore have two bearing zones, the rotary elements of the roof participating in this rotunda are cantilevered with a base resting on the ground or on the beach surrounding the basin and a high end pivotally connected about a vertical axis common to a plurality of rotating roof elements. This vertical axis constitutes a second support point offset from the first and must be dimensioned for this purpose without harming the aesthetics.
Another constraint related to the implementation of a rotunda shape lies in the mobility of the rotating roof elements, mobility which must allow the greatest possible access to the pool. However, conventionally, one or more rotating elements remain fixed to ensure the support of others and the rigidity of the whole. These fixed roof elements are then oversized to carry out this support function of others.
Another solution is to provide a fixed internal structure for supporting said roof elements.
Another constraint resides in the dimensioning of the rotating elements which, if they must all rotate, must then have a trundle structure allowing rotation and erasure of a rotating element relative to the other. However, in the context of a shelter with optimized rigidity, the thicknesses of the different profiles forming the support frame for the filling panels is likely to render a negative aesthetic effect.
These different constraints have led shelter designers to propose lighter, less mobile rotunda structures with parts dimensioned specifically for each rotating roof element constituting the rotunda.
On the basis of this fact, the applicant has conducted research aimed at solving the disadvantages described above. This research led to the design and construction of an ornamental pond shelter with partial or full rotunda configuration and a plurality of rotating roof angular elements forming an angular portion of the dome or rotunda and turning around a same vertical axis, each rotary roof angular element comprising a frame framing a cylindrical filling panel, the frame comprising a circular lower edge resting on the ground, an upper edge from which at least two profiles project to the axis of rotation which joins to form with said upper edge a frame for an angular portion of roofing filling panel, said roof elements being rotatably mounted about the same vertical axis. This shelter is remarkable in that each frame framing a cylindrical filler panel is equipped with a bent section along the axis of rotation of the element and disposed in its inner part between the lower edge and the upper edge of a hand common.
The presence of this profile of handrail brings many benefits in addition to a support for the user and a better maneuverability of the roof element.
Indeed, this additional section makes it possible to stiffen the reinforcement and offers a support surface to the filler panel reinforcing those proposed by the frame flanking said panel.
This support will thus prevent an over-thickness of the filling panel. Indeed, a vertical cylindrical surface is subjected to the stresses due to the wind and must be able to withstand such stresses. The shelter of the invention avoids a technological solution of oversizing the reinforcements or the thickness of the panels, which would increase costs and reduce the maneuverability.
The addition of this additional profile thus brings technical effects beyond the handrail function by lightening the structure while stiffening it.
This shelter can take the form of a complete rotunda arranged for example above a spa or semi rotunda disposed at the end of a high shelter.
According to another characteristic, this shelter comprises a vertical shaft on which are rotated said rotatable roof elements arranged below.
Depending on the form adopted by the shelter, this tree is supported by a different element. In a first solution where the shelter adopts the shape of a complete rotunda, it comprises an
The use of an additional external support structure is particularly advantageous in that it avoids the use of an inner support frame. In addition, it avoids oversizing and fixing one or more roof elements to assume this function. In addition, by avoiding making fixed one of the roof elements for support purposes, it ensures a total angular mobility of all the roof elements for a non-limiting positioning of the retracted assembly.
According to another particularly advantageous characteristic contributing to the stability and avoiding oversizing, said frame has an assembly of three uprights and three half-beams arranged at 120 degrees.
According to another particularly advantageous characteristic contributing to the overall appearance of the shelter, the upper part of the rotating roof elements takes up the slope or the curve of said frame.
Another characteristic contributing to the aesthetics lies in the fact that said rotating elements are dimensioned so that in the deployed position, one edge on two coincides advantageously with the plane in which the upright and the half-beam are located.
According to a technological choice, the shelter adopts a trundle configuration where the roof elements adopt a decreasing size to allow their retraction inside a single.
- a first vertical portion consisting of a cylindrical portion of vertical axis represented by the shaft,
- a second substantially planar portion of triangular shape showing the possible slope of the gantry and ensuring the connection between the upper edge of the cylindrical portion and the shaft.
According to a second solution where the shelter adopts the shape of a semi-rotunda disposed at the end of a high shelter, the upper end of said vertical shaft is attached to an arch belonging to the frame of an element non-rotating roof and larger than the largest of the rotating roof elements.
According to another particularly advantageous characteristic, the high ends of said angular roof elements are equipped with a connecting piece equipped with at least one flange preformed vertically with an orifice to form a guide sleeve which is threaded on the shaft, said sleeve has a thickness less than or equal to half of the connecting piece so that the reversal of the connecting piece symmetrically allows the pivot connection on the same shaft of a roof element angular dimension identical.
This feature allows the use of identical roof elements and thus reduces the cost of a rotunda.
According to the invention, said shelter is also remarkable in that it comprises two types of connecting pieces having sleeves arranged symmetrically on either side of the plane of symmetry of the upper part of the roof elements and used according to the side to which retracts said element.
According to another particularly advantageous characteristic of the invention, the connecting piece is equipped with two sleeves angularly offset on the same radius and offset in height so that, depending on the selected sleeve, the height with which the element of roofing said shaft differs, thus allowing the pivoting of roof elements of identical dimensions. Said angular offset makes it possible to increase the possibilities of angular displacement of a roof element with respect to its vis-à-vis arranged symmetrically.
According to another particularly advantageous feature, the upper part of the roof elements comprises two ends of two sections whose connection is provided by said connecting piece. Said connecting piece thus has several functions and reduces the number of parts required.
- etc...
- transparent polycarbonate or not,
- glass,
- micro-perforated textile,
- pvc,
- etc ...

This shelter A is divided into a plurality of
Said gantry has an assembly of three

Plus précisément, l'abri A' est formé d'éléments de toiture E1' rectilignes susceptibles de se mouvoir selon la double flèche F1' en translation au-dessus de son bassin et d'éléments de toiture E2' formant des portions angulaires de la semi-rotonde R' et susceptibles de se mouvoir selon la double flèche F2' en rotation autour d'un même axe matérialisé par l'arbre 100'.More specifically, the shelter A 'is formed of rectilinear roof elements E1' capable of moving along the double arrow F1 'in translation over its basin and roof elements E2' forming angular portions of the roof. semi-rotunda R 'and capable of moving along the double arrow F2' in rotation about the same axis materialized by the shaft 100 '.
A'.As illustrated, the rectilinear roof elements E1 'consist of a frame formed of two frame members 200' braced by sleepers 300 ', frame serving as a frame and support for one or more filling panels P'. More specifically, the frame members 200 'are formed of two uprights 210' supporting two beams 220 'assembled at the plane of symmetry of the shelter at an angle to form a ridge to the roof of the shelter A'.
- etc...
- transparent polycarbonate or not,
- glass,
- micro-perforated textile,
- pvc,
- etc ...
According to the invention, each frame framing a cylindrical filling panel is equipped with a profile C 'bent along the axis of rotation of the element and which, arranged in the inner part between the lower edge and the upper edge, forms a handrail.
A'.As illustrated in this last figure, the angular elements are completely retracted inside the rectilinear roof element to which they are connected, thus allowing full access to the interior of the shelter A '.
As illustrated, if the rotunda portion R 'adopts a trundle structure, it adopts a symmetrical trundle structure and allows the use of identical angular roof elements. Thus, according to the illustrated embodiment, said rotunda R 'comprises five (5) rotating roof angular elements E2' with four identical elements two by two and a fifth single smaller in height than those of the smaller pair. Thus, when they are in pairs, the roof elements are identical and are arranged symmetrically relative to each other without preventing retraction.
- a first vertical portion 410 'consisting of a cylindrical portion of vertical axis materialized by the shaft 100',
- a second substantially planar portion of triangular shape 420 'taking up the slope of the roof formed by the shelter and providing the connection between the upper edge of the cylindrical portion 410' and the shaft 100 '.
Said second portion 420 'thus consists of a circular rim adopting the circular shape of the rotunda and two sections 421' and 422 'connected at one end to the upper rim of the cylindrical portion and joining at an end that will come in connection with the shaft 100 '.
The connection between the two sections 421 'and 422' bordering the upper part of the roof element E2 'and forming the triangular part and the connection between this upper part and the shaft 100' are formed by means of a piece of link.
According to one embodiment, this connecting piece is identical for each corner element of roof E2 '.
To facilitate this rotation, the connecting pieces are further preformed to present complementary shapes cooperating once the connecting pieces of two roof elements of identical dimensions are positioned on the shaft 100 'and allowing a greater angular mobility. possible. Thus, each connecting piece is preformed the counterform of the collar of the connecting piece of the roof element vis-à-vis.
Comme illustrée, l'extrémité haute dudit arbre vertical 100' vient se fixer à une arche 220 de dimension supérieure au plus grand des éléments rotatifs de toiture formant la rotonde R'.In order to support this assembly of pivoting parts, the shaft 100 'is associated, by means of a bearing 110', to the beam 220 'and comprises, on its lower end, a removable axial abutment 120'. As illustrated, the upper end of said vertical shaft 100 'is fixed to an
In order to prevent said lower abutment 120 'from supporting all the stresses alone, axial bearing collars 130' are fixed to the shaft 100 'by interposing between the flanges 550' or 540 'of the parts link 500 '. In order to facilitate this function, said collars are associated with nylon spacers.

De même, l'angle du module 200" est identique à celui proposé par le module 400".According to the proposed configuration the four roof modules present two by two the same roof angle. Thus, the
It is understood that the shelter that has just been described and shown above, was for the purpose of disclosure rather than limitation. Of course, various arrangements, modifications and improvements may be made to the example above, without departing from the scope of the invention.
