Definitions

  • Such a profile comprises a base serving as a bearing surface in the groove of the opening frame and two wings extending from the base in the opposite direction to that oriented towards the bottom of the groove of the opening. These wings comprise fastening means intended to cooperate with the side walls of the groove of the opening for maintaining the profile in position in said groove.
  • Such a profile is, for example, disclosed in the document EP-2078817 .
  • a technical artifact used to improve the technical performance of a head upright of a sliding frame and to facilitate the implementation of the joints in said head upright.
  • a section of bi-hardness synthetic material is housed in a vertical groove of said head upright, the wings of this profile which has a generally U-shaped section, are provided, on their facing faces, co-extruded joints which replace the sliding brush-type joints usually used to seal the joining cooperating amounts of the frame and the opening, respectively.
  • a profile of this kind improves the thermal insulation of the assembly thus formed in the opening and is, for example, made of PVC to optimize such insulation.
  • the constant improvement of the thermal break causes a temperature differential and therefore a differential expansion between the inner face and the outer face of the profile and the frame of the opening in general. According to the experience of the Applicant, it has been found that this difference in expansion causes a significant deformation of the opening, which can be described as buckling, which sometimes can be translated by an arrow of 1 cm.
  • the current practice is to use opening dark shades providing a better aesthetic appearance, which has the disadvantage of increasing the absorption of heat by said opening, particularly at the profile, and therefore the deformations of this latest.
  • the frame of the opening and the frame do not cooperate properly when closing, which no longer ensures proper centering and closure of these two elements, especially when the closure involves a lock that must be efficient in operation and withstand pulling forces.
  • the invention provides a sliding leaf as defined by claim 1.
  • the technical effect thus obtained is a safe and simple centering of the opening relative to the frame during its closing, this during the sliding movement of advancement of the opening to the frame.
  • the guide means center the profile of the opening during its advancement to the frame and thus ensure proper positioning of the opening relative to the frame.
  • the invention may furthermore have a pre-assembled assembly of at least one lock and such a profile, for which the lock is secured to the profile by being positioned at least partly in said profile or carried by said profile or positioned under said profile.
  • a pre-assembled assembly has the advantage of being rapid assembly, the assembly being pre-assembled before insertion into the groove and the lock no longer need to be mounted on the profile when it is in position in the groove and therefore difficult to access.
  • Such an assembly also makes it possible to increase the resistance to tearing of the lock, the latter being no longer fixed, for example, by screwing onto the profile but forming a compact assembly with the profile which is itself maintained in the groove by holding means in position, in particular by clips which are more resistant to a pulling force than screws.
  • the opening according to the invention also comprises such a profile or such a pre-assembled assembly of at least one lock and a profile inserted into the groove.
  • the groove is intended to surround a first element of the frame.
  • the profile extends at least substantially the entire depth of the groove, at least a portion of the guide means of the profile extending beyond the two lateral uprights with respect to the bottom of the groove.
  • the profile is applied over a large part of the groove, which profile is, on the one hand, resting on the bottom of the groove and, on the other hand, held in the groove by the holding means in position.
  • the holding means in position act on the entire height of the groove of the opening and therefore increase the resistance to tearing of the profile. In addition, this guarantees a seal on the entire depth of the groove.
  • the means for holding in position are advantageously quick-attaching means, in particular of the clip type, there is no drilling for fixing the profile in the groove as there would be using screws for fixing the profile. where there is a reduced risk of leakage.
  • Such a portion of the guide means of the profile extending beyond the two lateral uprights also allows to begin the centering of the profile directly at the beginning of the insertion of the first fixed element in the profile and thus ensure efficient guidance.
  • the complementary means carried by the groove of the opening are the free ends of the lateral uprights curved towards the inside of the groove. These ends then form stops against the holding means in position present on the profile and the outlet of the profile out of the groove is prevented.
  • the invention also relates to a bay comprising a frame and a sliding leaf comprising the features described above.
  • the bay is slidable and configured so that, when the opening is applied to the frame, the profile comes to envelop the first fixed element of the frame being centered relative to said element by the guide means.
  • This allows a guided closure of the opening on the frame and can in particular compensate for a lack of centering of the opening relative to the frame, due to a deformation of the opening.
  • the profile when the profile has external guide means, at least a portion of said outer guide means constitute positioning means of the profile relative to at least one second fixed element of the frame when closing the door and comes into bearing against said second element when the opening is in the closed position on the frame.
  • the external guide means thus strengthen the guide means which perform the centering of the profile relative to the first fixed element of the frame intended to be surrounded by this section.
  • the tightness of the bay is thus reinforced and the introduction of object between the frame and the amount of the opening is prevented as well as the access to the lock from the outside, which reinforces the security of the closure of the opening.
  • the bay is sliding and provided with an opening comprising a profile with sealing means, the bay being configured so that, when the leaf is applied to the frame, the sealing means bear on the walls of the first fixed element of the frame in the profile and extending substantially parallel to the sliding direction of the opening. This increases the seal between the frame and opening.
  • FIG. 1 it is shown part of opening frame and, more particularly, the head element 1 of this opening.
  • This head element 1 of the opening is designated by the term "opening" in the remainder of this description and in the claims.
  • the opening frame and in particular the opening 1, is for example made of aluminum, and delimits an internal space.
  • Such an opening 1 is more particularly intended for the constitution of sliding windows.
  • the opening 1 has, in its interior, a groove 3 open at the front and in which is inserted a profile 2.
  • This opening 1 is oriented towards a frame 10 and is open towards it so that the section 2 inserted in the groove 3 of the opening 1, can be put in position during the advancement of said sliding leaf 1 to wrap a first fixed element 9 of said frame 10, as shown in FIG. figure 2 .
  • This profile 2 is advantageously made of insulating material, in particular PVC or polypropylene, some of its constituent elements may have a different hardness or flexibility, as will be seen later.
  • the opening 1 has, internally, an intermediate space 4 and a receiving space 5 for the establishment of a supported element 11 such as an element glazing, for example single glazing or multiple glazing, in particular double glazing.
  • a supported element 11 such as an element glazing, for example single glazing or multiple glazing, in particular double glazing.
  • the opening 1 consists of two lateral uprights 6 extending between the free end and the second end of the opening 1, this substantially parallel to each other being spaced apart from each other by a first and second rails 7 and 8 also called strips or spacer strips. These crosspieces 7 and 8 extend parallel to each other and perpendicular to the lateral uprights 6, the crosspieces 7 and 8 delimiting the internal spaces 3, 4, 5 of the opening 1.
  • the groove 3 is delimited, on one side, by the free end of the opening 1 and, on the other, by the first crosspiece 7, the face of the first crosspiece 7 oriented towards the free end of the opening 1 serving as bottom of the groove 3.
  • the intermediate space 4 is delimited, on one side, by the first crossbar 7 and, on the other, by the second cross 8.
  • L receiving space 5 is delimited, on one side, by the second cross member 8 and, on the other, by the second end of the amount of the opening 1.
  • the groove 3, the intermediate space 4 and the space 5 are substantially rectangular sections, the lateral uprights 6 may however be slightly inclined towards each other towards the free end of the opening 1.
  • the first and second crosspieces 7 and 8 may be made of thermally insulating material so as to constitute a thermal break means between the lateral uprights 6 of the frame of the opening 1.
  • the section 2 is intended to be inserted into the groove 3 while being able to occupy it completely.
  • said profile 2 extends out of the groove 3 on the side of the free end of the opening 1, in the extension of the lateral uprights 6.
  • This profile 2 is advantageously U-shaped or V-shaped, thereby forming an inner hollow portion for enclosing a first fixed member 9 of the frame 10 in the closed position of the sliding frame, as shown in FIG. figure 2 .
  • Profile 2 shown in figures 1 and 2 , is substantially U-shaped and has a base 12 formed by the bottom of said profile and arms or wings 13 extending perpendicularly to said base 12 towards the free end of the opening 1 when the profile 2 is put into position. position inserted in the groove 3 of the opening 1. In the inserted position of the profile 2 in the groove 3, the base 12 of the profile rests against the face of the first crossbar 7 facing the free end of the opening.
  • this support can be obtained by means of at least one tongue 14 carried by the base 12 and extending perpendicular to said base 12 in the direction of the first crossbar 7.
  • tongues 14 including two end tongues shaped so as to adapt to a slight curvature of the first crosspiece 7 at each of its ends respectively connecting it to the lateral uprights 6. At least one tongue 14 or part of these tongues 14 may also fulfill another function, that of maintaining a lock 18 in the section 2 or below said profile, which will be described later.
