Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical switch, in particular an electrical circuit breaker, with the features according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- Such a switch is from the German patent application DE 10 2008 039 066 A1 known.
- This switch comprises a rotor housing and a rotatably mounted in the rotor housing electrical contact arm, which is pivotable between an on and an off position and relative to the rotor housing. In the on position, the electrical contact arm connects a contact element of the contact arm with a stationary contact element of the switch. In the off position, the contact element of the contact arm and the stationary contact element of the switch are disconnected. To turn on and off the contact arm can be rotated by the rotor housing is rotated; The rotating rotor housing takes the contact arm with it and pivots the contact arm with it.
- the contact arm can also pivot without rotation of the rotor housing, that is to say relative to the rotor housing, namely if the current flowing via the contact arm becomes too large: in this case, the contact arm is pivoted relative to the rotor via a magnetic force caused by the current, whereby the contact element of the contact arm and the stationary contact element of the switch are separated from each other.
- two intermediate parts are present, which engage the pivotable contact arm with the rotor housing in a predetermined detent position and are moved away in the case of a relative rotation between the pivotable contact arm and the rotor housing from the predetermined detent position.
- Each of the two intermediate parts consists of a pressure element, which is connected at one end to a pivot bearing of the contact arm pivotally and holds with another end via a pivot bearing a role.
- the roller can roll on a wall portion of the switch.
- a switching device with a switching shaft for supporting a rotary contact bridge is disclosed.
- the rotary contact bridge has a groove-shaped longitudinal recess.
- the switching shaft has a recess for mounting the rotary contact bridge.
- the invention has for its object to provide a switch that has few parts and a particularly easy to assemble structure.
- the intermediate part is a spherical body which is held resiliently clamped in the predetermined locking position.
- spherical bodies are here understood bodies whose surface is spherical or spherical.
- a significant advantage of the switch according to the invention consists in its simple mechanical structure and the resulting ease of assembly.
- the intermediate part in which each intermediate part in each case comprises a pressure element, a roller and two pivot bearings, the intermediate part is formed in the switch according to the invention by a spherical body, the only by clamping - ie without a mechanical connection to other parts - can be maintained.
- the spherical body can only be used between the pivotable contact arm and the rotor housing and clamped there. So there are for the latch between the pivoting Contact arm and the rotor housing fewer parts needed, which significantly reduces the manufacturing and assembly costs.
- Another significant advantage of the switch according to the invention is that due to the spherical shape of the intermediate part, a twisting of the contact arm is possible with very low friction and thus even with very small triggering forces or very small triggering currents. This makes it possible to achieve a current limitation even with "no" short-circuit currents and at the same time to reduce the contact erosion, since opening of the contacts can take place with little delay.
- the intermediate part is preferably a hollow body with a spherical or ellipsoidal surface or a solid spherical body or a solid ellipsoid.
- the intermediate part consists of a non-conductive material.
- the predetermined detent position may be arranged such that the switch is closed when the intermediate part is held resiliently clamped in the predetermined detent position.
- the predetermined detent position may be arranged such that the switch is open when the intermediate part is held resiliently clamped in the predetermined detent position.
- several different locking positions are available, for example, one for the open switch state and one for the closed switch state.
- the arrangement of the intermediate parts between the rotor housing and the contact arm is preferably rotationally symmetrical.
- the intermediate part is preferably pushed out of the detent position.
- the latching position is preferably formed by a recess (eg in the form of a hole, a blind hole or a depression) in a wall section.
- depressions are preferably present, which slow down the rolling and / or sliding of the intermediate part on the wall portion.
- Such depressions make it possible to specifically control the pivoting movement, in particular the pivoting speed in the event of an overcurrent, by selecting the geometry and the density of the depressions accordingly.
- a spring is preferably arranged between the rotor housing and the pivotable contact arm.
- a first spring end of the spring preferably presses the intermediate part into the recess in the wall section.
- the second spring end of the spring is preferably supported on the contact arm.
- the first spring end presses directly on the intermediate part, and the second spring end of the spring is supported directly on the contact arm.
- the wall section is preferably formed by a wall section of the rotor housing. It is regarded as particularly advantageous in this regard if the rotor housing has a housing shell with an edge portion whose edge inner surface forms the wall portion on which the intermediate part can roll or slide and in which the recess for the detent position is placed.
- the rotor housing has a cover which closes the rotor housing with the contact arm located therein laterally.
- the lid is preferably located directly on the intermediate part.
- the lid may for example form an inner lid, which is rotated together with the contact arm.
- the intermediate part in addition to the said detent position, hereinafter referred to as the first detent position, a second detent position, in which the intermediate part can reach after pressing out of the first detent position and after further pivoting of the contact arm relative to the rotor housing.
- the spring which presses the intermediate part in the first detent position in the recess is preferably arranged such that it can hold the intermediate part resiliently in its second detent position, for example by pressing it into a second recess or to a stop, whereby the Contact arm is held in its opposite the rotor housing pivoted position.
- a shock body can cooperate with the spring, which is brought into contact with the intermediate part during pivoting of the contact arm relative to the rotor housing and a concomitant deformation of the spring and pushes the intermediate part out of the first and / or the second latching position.
- an impactor can reduce the influence of friction on the rotational movement of the contact arm.
- the contact arm of the switch is preferably pivoted when the current flowing across the contact arm exceeds a predetermined value or the rotor housing is rotated.
- FIG. 1 you can see an electric scaler 10 in a three-dimensional view. It can be seen a rotor housing 20 which is rotatable along an arrow direction P. Within the rotor housing 20 is a contact bridge 30, which is also pivotable along the direction of the arrow P together with the rotor housing 20 or relative to the rotor housing 20. The axis of rotation about which the contact bridge 30 and the rotor housing 20 are rotatable or pivotable, is in the FIG. 1 designated by the reference numeral 40.
- the contact bridge 30 is formed by a first contact arm 50 and a second contact arm 51. Each of the two contact arms 50 and 51 is equipped at the contact arm end with a contact element.
- the contact elements are in the FIG. 1 designated by the reference numerals 60 and 61.
- FIG. 1 can be seen beyond two stationary contact rails 70 and 71, which cooperate with the contact bridge 30.
- the two contact rails 70 and 71 are each equipped with a stationary contact element 80 or 81.
- the switch 10 is closed, so that an electric current can flow from the contact rail 70 via the contact bridge 30 to the contact rail 71.
- the contact elements 60 and 61 of the contact bridge 30 are on the corresponding stationary contact elements 80 and 81 of the two contact rails 70 and 71.
- FIG. 2 shows the switch 10 according to FIG. 1 in the off state. It can be seen that the contact bridge 30 relative to the rotor housing 20 and with respect to in the FIG. 1 pivoted position is shown. Due to the pivoting angle, the contact elements 60 and 61 of the contact bridge 30 are separated from the corresponding stationary contact elements 80 and 81 of the two contact rails 70 and 71.
- FIG. 3 is the switch 10 according to FIG. 1 shown in cross-section in the on state. It can be seen the two contact rails 70 and 71 with their associated stationary contact elements 80 and 81, on which the contact elements 60 and 61 of the contact bridge 30 rest.
- the rotor housing 20 has a housing shell 21 with an edge portion whose edge inner surface is designated by the reference numeral 22.
- the edge inner surface 22 forms a wall section the two intermediate parts in the form of balls 100 and 101 can slide and / or roll.
- first recesses 110 and 111 In the in the FIG. 3 shown switched state of the switch 10 are the two balls 100 and 101 in first recesses 110 and 111, in which they are resiliently held by springs 120 and 121.
- the two first recesses 110 and 111 thus define a first detent position for the contact bridge 30 and the two balls 100 and 101.
- the two balls 100 and 101 form separate parts which are mechanically connected neither to the housing shell 21 or the rotor housing 20 nor to the contact bridge 30. It is in the balls 100 and 101 to separate separate parts, which are held only resiliently clamped between the housing shell 21 of the rotor housing 20 and the contact bridge 30 by the two springs 120 and 121.
- the two balls 100 and 101 must be inserted only in the recesses 110 and 111 and clamped there by means of the two springs 120 and 121.
- the two springs 120 and 121 each have two spring ends, of which a first spring end presses directly on one of the two balls and of which the second spring end is supported on one of the contact arms of the contact bridge 30.
- one of the two springs 120 is supported on the contact arm 50 of the contact bridge 30 and the other spring 121 on the second contact arm 51 of the contact bridge 30 from.
- first detent position of the contact bridge 30 are thus only the rotor housing 20, the contact bridge 30, the two balls 100 and 101 and the two springs 120 and 121 necessary. Other parts are not required.
- FIG. 4 shows the state of the switch 10 after the contact bridge 30 has been pivoted relative to the rotor housing 20. Due to the pivoting of the contact bridge 30, the balls were 100 and 110 unrolled on the edge inner surface 22 of the housing shell 21 and each brought into a second detent position of the contact bridge 30; this second detent position is defined by second recesses 200 and 201. Also in the second detent position, the two balls 100 and 101 are held resiliently, and still by the two springs 120 and 121, which are supported on the two contact arms 50 and 51 of the contact bridge 30.
- the second locking position ensures that also in the FIG. 4 illustrated open switching state of the contact elements can latch and the switch remains open even when the tripping current, which has caused the rotation of the contact bridge 30, dies down again.
- FIG. 5 For example, a second embodiment of a switch 10 is shown. It can be seen the contact bridge 30 which is rotatably mounted within the housing shell 21 of a rotor housing 20. In addition, it can be seen two balls 100 and 101, which are located in recesses 110 and 111 and are resiliently held there by two springs 120, 121, 122, 123.
- the embodiment according to FIG. 5 thus differs from the embodiment according to the FIGS. 1 and 4 in that per ball 100 or 101 two springs are used instead of a single spring.
- the contact bridge 30 will pivot relative to the rotor housing 20, whereby the two balls 100 and 101 are pushed out of their recess 110 or 111.
- the two balls 100 and 101 will roll on the edge inner surface 22 of the housing shell 21 and reach into second recesses 200 and 201. In these second recesses 200 and 201, the two balls 100 and 101 are each resiliently held by the four springs.
- the embodiment corresponds to FIG. 5 the embodiment according to the FIGS. 1 to 4 ,
- FIG. 6 is the switch 10 according to FIG. 5 shown again in a three-dimensional view.
- FIG. 7 a third embodiment of a switch 10 is shown, are additionally provided in the impactor 400 and 401.
- the function of the impactors 400 and 401 is to force the ejection of the balls 100 and 101 out of the recesses 110 and 111, regardless of frictional forces that may keep the balls in their recesses.
- the impactors thus define very precisely at what time the two balls 100 and 101 have left their respective recess 110 or 111 at the latest.
- the third embodiment corresponds to the second embodiment according to the Figures 5 and 6 ,
- Impactor as in the FIG. 7 can also be shown in the embodiment according to the FIGS. 1 to 4 , in which only one spring is provided per ball, are used.
- impactors can also be attached to an inner cover 500 (cf. FIG. 8 ), with which the housing shell of the rotor housing is closed on the inside, be provided.
- the impactor may be provided on the inner contour of the inner lid.
- the inner lid 500 is preferably mounted in such a case that it can rotate together with the contact bridge relative to the housing shell.

Description
- In
