Claims (18)
- Vorrichtung (100) zum Verdampfen einer Flüssigkeit, wobei die Vorrichtung (100) aufweist: ein Reservoir (101), das eine zu verdampfende Flüssigkeit (111) enthalten kann, ein Heizelement (105), das Flüssigkeit erhitzen kann, um sie zu verdampfen, und eine Kapillarpumpe (110), die im Behälter (101) enthaltene Flüssigkeit durch Kapillarpumpen zu dem Heizelement (105) pumpen kann, gekennzeichnet durch eine Kapillarsperre (106), die in einer Kapillarpumprichtung (102) der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (111) stromabwärts der Kapillarpumpe (110) angeordnet ist, wobei die Kapillarbarriere (106) verhindern kann, dass nicht verdampfte Flüssigkeit aus der Vorrichtung (100) entweicht, wobei die Kapillarbarriere (106) mindestens eine nicht-benetzende poröse Komponente (116) umfasst.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die mindestens eine nicht-benetzende poröse Komponente (116) für die die zu verdampfende Flüssigkeit (111) undurchlässig und für den aus der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (111) erzeugten Dampf durchlässig ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die mindestens eine nicht-benetzende poröse Komponente (116) eine Membran aus Polymermaterial aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die mindestens eine nicht benetzende poröse Komponente (116) eine vergleichsweise geringe Wärmeleitfähigkeit aufweist, die zur Verdampfung der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (111) erforderlich ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, wobei die mindestens eine nicht-benetzende poröse Komponente (116) dafür ausgelegt ist, Temperaturen über 100 °C standzuhalten.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, wobei die mindestens eine nicht-benetzende poröse Komponente (116) ein thermisch isolierendes Material umfasst.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Kapillarbarriere (106) entfernbar angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Reservoir (101), die Kapillarpumpe (110) und die Kapillarsperre (106) in Form von gestapelten Scheiben vorgesehen sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei mindestens die Kapillarpumpe (410) in zylindrischer Form vorgesehen ist und die Kapillarsperre (409) in ringförmiger Form vorgesehen ist, wobei die Kapillarsperre (409) die Kapillarpumpe (410) zumindest teilweise umgibt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Reservoir (101), die Kapillarpumpe (110) und die Kapillarbarriere (106) in einer äußeren Halterung (308; 405) angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, wobei die äußere Halterung (308; 405) aus Glas, Keramik und/oder Kunststoff besteht, der der zur Verdampfung der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (111) erforderlichen Wärme standhalten kann.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Heizelement (105) mindestens ein rostfreies Material umfasst.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Heizelement (105) in einer Kapillarpumprichtung (102) der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (111) zwischen der Kapillarpumpe (110) und der Kapillarsperre angeordnet ist (106).
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, wobei das Heizelement (206) in einer Kapillarpumprichtung (202) der zu verdampfenden Flüssigkeit (211) stromabwärts der Kapillarbarriere (205) angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Heizelement (105) in Form eines elektrisch leitenden Gitters vorgesehen ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Kapillarpumpe (110) mindestens eine poröse Benetzungskomponente (103, 104) aufweist, die für die zu verdampfende Flüssigkeit (111) durchlässig ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 16, wobei die Porosität der mindestens einen nichtbenetzenden porösen Komponente (116) größer als die Porosität der mindestens einen porösen Benetzungskomponente (103, 104) ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 16 oder 17, wobei die mindestens eine poröse Benetzungskomponente (103, 104) mit einem Porositätsgradienten versehen ist oder mindestens eine erste poröse Komponente (103) und eine zweite poröse Komponente umfasst (104), wobei die Porosität der ersten porösen Komponente (103) größer ist als die Porosität der zweiten porösen Komponente (104).
