Nachdem die oben beschriebenen Vorrichtungen sich nicht für den Einsatz bei Kleinstickmaschinen, insbesondere Mehrkopf-Stickmaschinen, eignen, ist es ein Ziel der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Vorrichtung zum Bereithalten von Verzierungsmaterialien, wie Pailletten, Schnüren, Kordeln, Litzen, Perlenschnüren und ähnlichen Materialien vorzuschlagen, welche sich individuell zu- und wegschalten lässt. Ein weiteres Zielt ist es, eine Vorrichtung vorzuschlagen, welche kostengünstig in der Herstellung ist. Auch sollte die Vorrichtung auch an bestehende Stickmaschinen nachrüstbar sein. Ein weiteres Ziel ist es, eine Vorrichtung vorzuschlagen, mittels welcher gleichzeitig entweder unterschiedliche Pailletten oder Pailletten und eine Schnur auf einen Stickboden aufgestickt werden können. Erfindungsgemäss wird bei einem Verfahren gemäss Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 zum Koppeln mit einer Antriebseinheit die ganze Vorrichtung zum Bereithalten von Verzierungsmaterialien von einer Ruheposition in eine Stickposition bewegt, in welcher ein Antriebsrad der Vorrichtung mit der stationären Antriebseinheit, beispielsweise einer Antriebswelle, in Eingriff gelangt. Zum Entkoppeln wiederum wird die Vorrichtung durch vorzugsweise den gleichen Aktuator von der Stickposition in die Ruheposition bewegt, in welcher das Antriebsrad ausser Eingriff mit der stationären Antriebseinheit oder Antriebswelle ist. Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren hat den Vorteil, dass die Vorrichtungen zum Bereithalten von Verzierungsmaterialien individuell und einfach an eine Antriebswelle angekoppelt werden können. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass die Zugänglichkeit der Nadelstelle durch das Anbringen der Vorrichtung an der Stickmaschine nicht wesentlich eingeschränkt wird, da dieselbe dann, wenn sie nicht gebraucht wird, von der Nadelstelle entfernt ist. Dies im Unterschied zu den Pailletten- und Soutacheköpfen der eingangs erwähnten
