Description

The invention relates to a floor covering element according to the preamble of claim 1. This comprises a floor panel which forms a tread surface on an upper side. The bottom plate can thus serve to produce a walk-out floor surface of the floor panels of several identical floor covering elements. In particular, the floor covering element can be used to produce a floor surface on a steel platform. In this case, the bottom plate is connected to a collecting channel, which is arranged below the tread surface and adjacent to this forms an inlet opening. As a result, the liquid accumulating on the surface of a built-in floor covering element can flow into the collecting channel via the inlet opening. From this, the liquid can then be supplied to a drain line to ensure a targeted discharge. Since the collecting trough is made in one piece with the bottom plate, a collecting system for liquid arising on the bottom surface is provided at the same time during the manufacture of the bottom surface of the bottom plates of several identical floor covering elements, which essentially consists of the collecting troughs of the floor covering elements together. Collecting channels can be prefabricated together with the floor plates, which allows a time and cost-effective production of the collection system. The bottom plate and the collecting channel are formed by a single multi-folded sheet metal. In this way, the flooring elements can be made particularly inexpensive.

To produce a walk-in floor space on steel platforms or similar in particular industrially used constructions, for example of steel, concrete or combinations thereof, nowadays predominantly gratings, Riffel sheets or metal profile gratings are used.

These coverings are also suitable for wet areas or for areas in which, for example, for cleaning purposes, recurrently larger amounts of liquid incurred. The floor covering forming the top of these known flooring elements is designed so that it acts sufficiently slip-resistant even in the wet state.

A disadvantage of the known flooring elements that the flooring formed by them does not allow targeted discharge of the resulting liquid. Rather, this runs over a variety of cracks and openings of the floor covering and must therefore often be collected by means of a lower collecting device, such as a drip pan, from which the liquid can then be selectively discharged.

Alternatively, in the case of the use of closed sheets, these can be tightly welded together and provided at the edge of the floor surface thus prepared with a raised edge. In this way, the flooring elements themselves form a kind of drip pan, from which the orderly discharge can take place via one or more drain openings.

In any case, the drip tray must be adapted to such floor slabs individually to the respective substructure and usually made in situ, whereby the time and cost required for the production of the flooring is relatively high.

US 6,397,539 B1 shows a flooring element for producing a washable floor of a plurality of similar elements. For this purpose, the floor covering element on one side of a groove and on an opposite side an engagement member which is provided for engagement in the groove of an adjacent element. The groove and the engagement element are formed integrally with a sheet-shaped main element by folds.

US 2005/0210774 A1 describes a bottom plate for producing a waterproof floor covering from a variety of similar sheets. To connect the Sheets in each case a U-shaped groove is provided, can be clamped in the two curved engagement elements of an adjacent sheet. The bottom plate has on its upper side a groove structure to reduce the risk of slipping on. EP 1 489 244 A2 shows a mating grid, which is closed at its ends by cheek plates, the mounting means for connection to an adjacent grating having off US 7,520,092 a flooring element is known which has a plurality of parallel collecting grooves under a tread surface. Water accumulating on the tread surface can drain into the collecting troughs via drainage openings. The relatively complex cross section of the floor covering element is produced by extrusion of a synthetic resin. The object of the invention is to allow for generic floor covering elements a simple production of the inlet opening with a preferred clear maximum width. This object is achieved by a floor covering element with the features of claim 1. In this case, on a side facing away from the bottom plate outer wall of the collecting trough a application means in the direction of the bottom plate, which limits the inlet opening. At this application means the engaging means of another adjacent in the transverse direction of the floor covering element can be applied. As a result, a preferred clear maximum width of the inlet opening in the finished assembled state can already be predetermined during the production of the individual flooring elements. As a result, the flooring elements can be particularly easily set relative to each other in the production of the bottom surface.

Moreover, it is favorable if the upper side of the floor panel has a nub at the tread surface. As a result, sufficient slip resistance of the floor surface to be produced can be ensured.

Advantageously, a cheek plate is provided at least one end of the collecting channel with respect to their longitudinal extent, which is welded, for example, to the collecting channel and thereby closes the free cross section end side. In this way, the collecting channel can be closed by cheek plates permanently attached on both sides or by a cheek plate of an adjacent floor covering element firmly attached at one end and at the other end such that it forms a collecting area for a liquid draining from the floor surface.

It is also advantageous if the cheek plate additionally extends along an end edge of the floor panel on the underside thereof and is connected thereto, wherein the cheek plate assembly means for fixing a longitudinally adjacent floor covering element. In this way, the cheek plate in addition to its final function with respect to the collecting channel at the same time for easy connection of two adjacent in the longitudinal direction Bodenbelagselemente, for example by means of screw, serve.

In addition, it is favorable when above the cheek plates in each case an overlapping section protrudes from an end face of the floor covering element, by means of which an overlapping area can be formed with a suitable overlapping section of an adjacent floor covering element. The overlapping section can be formed both by a correspondingly shaped section of the floor panel or alternatively by a section of the cheek panel or by a separately welded section. In any case, formed by the formation of the overlap region formed between the adjacent flooring elements shock against water ingress from above.

In a further advantageous embodiment, a transverse stop element is provided on the outer wall of a collecting channel of a floor covering element adjacent in the transverse direction at an end of the cheek plate facing away from the collecting channel. This allows the cheek plate in addition to its final function with respect to the collecting channel in addition to the easy connection of two adjacent in the transverse direction of floor covering elements, for example by means of screw.

Further, it is advantageous if a drain opening is recessed on a channel bottom of the collecting channel, which allows a targeted discharge of liquid collected in the collecting channel.

In addition, it is advantageous if the drain opening is connected to a line connection, such as a connecting piece. This is a simple one Connection of the flooring elements to a drain line, for example in the form of a pipe or hose possible.

How out Fig. 1 it can also be seen, on a side facing away from the bottom plate 4 outer wall 20 of the collecting trough 10, a further folded edge region is provided which projects away from the outer wall 20 substantially perpendicular in the direction of the bottom plate 4 and thereby limits the inlet opening 12 to one side. The further beveled edge region thereby forms a contact means 22, on which the engagement means 18 of an adjacent identical floor covering element 2 can be applied, as in Fig. 2 shown.

How out Fig. 1 it can also be seen, stands on two opposite end faces 24, 26 of the flooring element 2, a narrow overlap portion 25 and a wide overlap portion 27 from. In addition, a cheek plate 28 is provided on the end faces 24, 26, which is connected by welding to the bottom plate 4 and the collecting trough 10. The cheek plate 28 extends at a respective end 30 of the collecting channel 10 over the at least almost complete cross-section, to close the respective end 30 frontally. Furthermore, the cheek plate 28 extends along a respective end edge 32 of the bottom plate 4, wherein it has an angled portion at an end facing the engagement means 18, which extends transversely to the remaining cheek plate 28 on the underside 16 of the bottom plate 4. This angled portion forms a stop member 36 which is set at a distance a to the engaging means 18, as from Fig. 2 can be seen.

The distance a is dimensioned so that it is slightly larger than a width b of the application means 22. This makes it possible, the flooring element 2 with respect to a transverse direction Q to the longitudinal extension of the collecting channel 10 by establishing a positive connection to the contact element 22 of a structurally adjacent adjacent floor covering element 2 to position exactly.

By such a juxtaposition of several flooring elements 2 thus an arbitrarily large walk-in floor surface 38 can be made. In order to ensure a sufficient slip resistance, the tread surfaces 6 of the floor panels 4 may be provided with a notch N, as in Fig. 1 shown.

For lining up several flooring elements 2 in the longitudinal direction L of the collecting channel 10 mounting means 40 are provided in the form of receiving bores on the cheek plates. As in Fig. 3 represented, these mounting means 40 can serve for the production of a screw connection, for example by means of commercially available screws / bolts 42 and nuts 44.

After making the screw connections to the mounting means 40 in this case forms the respective narrow overlap portion 25 of a flooring element 2 with the relevant wide overlap portion 27 of the respective adjacent floor covering element 2 an overlap region 45, as in Fig. 4 shown. In this case, the wide overlap section 27 extends over the entire length over the narrow overlap section 25, so that the joint area formed when joining the two floor covering elements 2 is shielded against ingress of water.

As in particular from Fig. 2 can be seen, the flooring elements 2 also on a channel bottom 46 of the collecting channel 10 each have a drain opening 48 of an opening into the collecting channel 10 line connection 50. In each case a drainage line 52 can be connected to this line connection 50, via which liquid which arrives from the tread surfaces 6 via the inlet openings 12 into the collecting troughs 10 can be selectively discharged.
