Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ferner ein Verteiler- bzw. Sammelkasten für einen Plattenkühler für Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere Hydrauliköl, wobei jeder Kasten endseitig an einem pa- rallelepipedischen Paket aus beabstandeten Plattenkörpern des Kühlers, welche vertikale Flüssigkeitskanäle und dazwischen angeordnete Luftkanäle einschließen, befestigbar ist, wobei jeder Kasten als hohles Strangpressprofil aus Aluminium mit einem horizontalen Flüssigkeitskanal ausgebildet ist, der mit mindestens einer wegführenden Leitung verbindbar ist, wobei jeder Kasten beiderends abgeschlossen ist und nach außen offene, im Querschnitt T-förmige Führungsnuten zum Anbringen von Kühleranschlusselementen aufweist, und wobei jeder Kasten mindestens eine horizontale Öffnung aufweist, an welcher ein Anschlusselement in Form einer Verschlussplatte oder eines Adapterstückes ansetzbar ist. Dabei kann jedes Adapterstück mit einer an die horizontale Öffnung des Kastens ansetzbaren horizontalen Öffnung und einer Anschlussöffnung für die wegführende Leitung versehen und an den Führungsnuten des Kastens befestigbar sein. Das Paket der Plattenkörper 1 steht endseitig mit einem an seiner oberen Begrenzung angeordneten Verteilerkasten 4 und einem an seiner unteren Begrenzung angeordneten Sammelkasten 41 in Verbindung. Der Verteilerkasten 4 und der Sammelkasten 4 ' sind spiegelgleich ebenso als hohle Strangpressprofile aus Aluminium mit einem horizontalen Flüssigkeitskanal 5 ausgebildet. An ihren Rändern weisen die Kästen 4, 41 nach außen und oben bzw. außen und unten offene, im Querschnitt T-förmige Führungsnuten 6 auf, die über die gesamte Länge der Kästen 4, 4' durchlaufen. Die Schraubenmuttern 13 sind in den Führungsnuten 6 des Verteilerkastens 4 gehalten. Das in Fig. 5 links unten dargestellte Anschlusselement und die in Fig. 5 oben mittig sowie rechts dargestellten Anschlusselemente sind Verschlussplatten 16, wie sie näher in den Fig. 14, 14A, 15 und 15A dargestellt sind. Sammelkasten nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Adapterstück (8; 19) mit einer an die horizontale Öffnung (7) des Kastens (4, 4') ansetzbaren horizontalen Öffnung (9) und einer Anschlussöffnung (11) für die wegführende Leitung versehen und an den Führungsnuten (6) des Kastens (4, 4') befestigbar ist. 13.
