Die erfindungsgemƤĆe GeschirrspĆ¼lmaschine ist insbesondere eine HaushaltgeschirrspĆ¼lmaschine. Dadurch, dass die DƤmpfungsvorrichtung innerhalb des GeschirrspĆ¼lbehƤlters angeordnet ist, kann sie beispielsweise relativ einfach montiert werden. Auch bietet der SpĆ¼lbehƤlter mehr Platz als beispielsweise die beengten VerhƤltnisse z.B. hinter der RĆ¼ckwand des SpĆ¼lbehƤlters.
