Definitions
- the invention relates to a roll-rotary offset printing machine according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a method for using a roll-rotary offset printing machine according to the preamble of claim 14.
- paint systems are known, for example those which contain a catalyst which triggers a crosslinking reaction of the substances contained in the paint.
- This catalyst can be activated, for example, by means of UV or electron irradiation.
- Other methods require a dryer that uses infrared radiation or hot air to dry the paint.
- the drying of such "heatset coatings” thus proceeds analogously to the drying of "heatset inks” which likewise require a dryer in which, for example, the excess liquid components of the paint are vaporized by means of hot air. Since in this case the printing substrate is heated, a device is usually required in addition, which cools the substrate web again. The use of such paints thus requires a relatively high expenditure on equipment.
- a printing machine which does not use “heatset inks” and therefore does not include a “heatset dryer” and cooling device.
- An optional printing unit for applying a seal in this printing machine is followed by either an IR, a UV or an electron beam dryer, which may be provided with a thermal doctor blade. An applied amount of paint is not specified.
- the DE 102 06 601 discloses a coating unit of a printing press, which comprises a, a water-based paint-containing pan and an anilox roller, wherein the anilox roller has a plurality of, jointly forming a scoop volume, depressions in its lateral surface and wherein the coating unit along a transport path of, from the printing press and the coating unit processed, substrate, is arranged according to a printing unit of the printing press, wherein, along the transport path of the printing material, after the coating unit, apart from guide rollers or other, a Printing unit of the printing machine is arranged, wherein, along the transport path of the printing material, after the coating unit, apart from guide rollers or other, a transport direction of the printing material changing devices, as the next device a folder and / or a cutting device is arranged on the printing material acting.
- An applied lacquer layer is dried by means of a drying device.
- the EP 0 930 161 B1 discloses a coating unit of a rotary-rotary offset printing machine, which comprises at least one, a water-based paint, chambered doctor blade and at least one anilox roller, wherein at least one anilox roller, a plurality of, together forming a scoop volume, recesses in its lateral surface and wherein the coating, along a transport path of a, processed by the rotary-rotary offset printing press and the coating, printing material, is arranged according to a printing unit of the rotary web offset printing machine, wherein, along the transport path of the printing material, after the coating, apart from guide rollers or others, a transport direction Changing the printing material, devices, as a next device, a folding device and / or a cutting device is arranged acting on the substrate. It is essential that an application of the paint is performed in opposite directions of the anilox roller with respect to the printed substrate.
- the invention has for its object to provide a rotary-rotary offset printing machine and a method of using a rotary-rotary offset printing machine.
- the advantages which can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the printed products treated with the coating unit have a multiplicity of the advantages which can typically be achieved by means of coating installations, in comparison to unpainted printed products, such as gloss and contrast improvement and greatly reduced Lubrication and high-quality paper, although the coating is also relatively simple and requires no downstream dryer. Thus, by using cheaper paper, costs can be reduced.
- Another advantage is that a risk of smearing of printing inks or paint on a substrate is reduced, because all occurring contacts between participating anilox rollers of the coating and / or application rollers of the coating and / or counter-pressure rollers of the coating and / or transfer cylinders and / or Substrate are rolling contacts. This gentle treatment facilitates drying without a dryer, since no dryer is necessary to protect freshly applied printing inks or lacquers from smearing.
- Another advantage is that, by means of an arrangement of rollers forming a painting nip, such that a point containing one of its axes of rotation and a roller associated with the other axis of rotation and within a volume of the roller associated with that other axis of rotation is in a plane inclined at less than 45 ° to the horizontal an arrangement of the coating unit at a particularly favorable location within a printing press, in particular on a printing unit and / or a printing tower is made possible without complicating a web guide and / or so that unnecessarily many guide rollers before painting with a printed image in Come in contact.
- Another advantage is that the relatively small footprint retrofit existing printing presses is possible. For example, that can Lackierwerk be inserted into the superstructure of a printing press. The space required is also low, because no dryer is arranged, a distance between the printing unit and coating unit is relatively small and the coating unit is relatively simple and compact
- Another advantage is the elimination of volatile organic compounds and other, such as environmentally hazardous substances, such as may occur in paints that need to be dried by means of UV radiation. There is thus no special waste.
- the paint arranged in the coating unit is a water-based lacquer which dries so fast, for example, by striking that the coating unit can be arranged in a roll rotary offset printing machine, without a transport speed of a printing material being smaller. than the usual with this printing unit without active coating unit transport speed of the printing substrate of about 12 - 15 m / s.
- this printing unit without active coating unit transport speed of the printing substrate of about 12 - 15 m / s.
- Another advantage is that is prevented by a storability of a standing in contact with an at least partially coated side of the printing material in that at a standstill of the substrate, especially in an emergency shutdown of the coating and / or the printing press, the substrate at the corresponding Stick roller.
- a direction of a corresponding Abstell Gay is chosen so that it can be achieved by a simple construction as possible, so for example, a linear movement and / or pivotal movement with components exclusively in directions perpendicular to axes of rotation of components of the coating.
- Another advantage is that, in conjunction with a previous printing of a substrate by means of a printing unit exclusively with dry offset inks, a particularly fast repelling of the liquid portions of the disposed paint occurs, whereby reductions in the printing material web speed can be further avoided.
- This advantage arises from the fact that the substrate has not come into contact with water-containing material until the application of the paint and thus still has a very high absorbency.
- Another advantage is that, in connection with a previous print with "coldset colors", no drying device is required for the entire production process of the printed products, whereby dryer-related disadvantages, such as a too low moisture content of the printing material, can be avoided in the manufacturing process.
- Another advantage is that by limiting a transferred amount of paint by means of a scoop volume of an anilox roller negative effects such as waves in the substrate can be avoided.
- Another advantage is that it can be ensured by own drives to the anilox rollers that a transferred amount of paint exactly meets the requirements and not too much or too little paint is transferred. This is further promoted by the existing between all rollers rolling contacts.
- Another advantage is that the paint shop, if it is divisible, is more accessible for maintenance and other occasions and in the case of co-operating with the coating unit, divisible printing unit can be shared with this together, resulting in, for example, maintenance of coating unit and printing unit further simplify.
- the coating unit can be designed in various configurations, for example, with few rollers to save costs, or with many rollers, for example, flexographic printing rollers or rollers for double-sided coating order to further increase a Lackier 1947.
- a coating unit 01 of a rotary rotary offset printing machine comprises at least one formed as an anilox roller 02 roller 02, to which at least one chambered doctor 03 is employed, so that the chambered doctor blade 03 in its interior with its closing squeegee, their working doctor blade, two lateral boundaries, a housing and a part of a lateral surface of the anilox roller 02 forms a closed volume.
- At least one supply line and one discharge line exist through which paint can be pumped into and out of the volume.
- the supply line, the discharge, the chambered doctor blade 03 and the pumping device with other devices, such as a reservoir, a closed system in which the paint is under a pressure which is higher than an atmospheric pressure.
- the anilox roller 02 has its own drive motor, via which it is driven and which is preferably connected to the machine control.
- the anilox roller 02 is thus mechanically independent of other anilox rollers 02 or driven by other drive motors of the printing press.
- a lateral surface of the anilox roller 02 is preferably made of a ceramic material, which may include, for example, alumina (Al 2 O 2 ) and / or titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) and / or zirconium dioxide (ZrO 2 ).
- An engraving in the form of a plurality of depressions is introduced into the lateral surface, preferably by means of a production process which comprises a laser bombardment of the lateral surface of the anilox roller 02 as a step.
- the depressions can be arranged, for example, in a regular point-like structure, a line structure or a stochastic structure. Lines of such a line pattern are also called Haschuren.
- a regular-dot-shaped structure is a structure in which individual depressions are located on points of a regular grid.
- a density of the lines is 40 to 130 lines per cm. If the coating unit 01 is designed such that a printing substrate 06, for example a printing material web 06, rests directly against the anilox roller 02 during the coating operation, the density of the lines is preferably 90 to 130 lines per cm and more preferably 100 to 120 lines per cm. If the coating unit 01 is designed in such a way that no printing material 06 is applied directly to the anilox roller 02 during the coating operation, the density of the lines is preferably 40 to 80 lines per cm and more preferably 50 to 70 lines per cm.
- a width and a depth of the individual lines determine predetermined density of lines a total paint volume that can accommodate the anilox 02 in their wells, a so-called Schöpfvolumen.
- the scoop volume depends on a desired amount of paint that is to be transferred from the anilox roller 02.
- the scoop volume of the anilox roller 02 is designed so that the paint film transferred to a printing material 06 in the dried state has a surface-related mass of at most 4 g / m 2 and preferably of at most 2 g / m 2 .
- the anilox roller 02 takes on paint by coming through the rotation of the anilox roller 02, the wells in contact with the arranged in the interior of the chambered doctor blade 03 paint and so filled. Excess paint is stripped in the further rotation of the anilox roller 02 of the working doctor blade and only arranged in the wells paint passes out of the interior of the chambered doctor blade 03.
- the part of the lateral surface of the anilox roller 02 comes into contact with the printing substrate 06 or another constituent of the coating unit 01, which may be a roller 07 formed as an applicator roller 07, and transfers lacquer to the Printing material 06 or this other component of the coating 01.
- the paint is preferably applied to a substrate 06, which has already been printed with color.
- the color processed by the printing press may be color for the printer conventional offset printing or preferably dry offset ink and it is preferably already at least partially dried before the paint is applied. Due to the better water absorption capabilities of the printing material 06, which has not come in contact with water before a paint job, the use of dry offset inks is preferred.
- substrate 06 for example, paper comes into question. Uncoated and coated paper grades can be used and lighter paper grades typical for coldset printing with a basis weight of up to 50 g / m 2 or rather heatset printing paper grades with a weight per unit area of more than 40 are used g / m 2 in question.
- low-coverage or uncoated paper for example, having a coating weight of less than 10 g / m 2 . If, as preferred, coldset inks are used, it is preferred to use paper that achieves desirable results with these inks.
- the arranged in the volume inside the chambered doctor blade 03 is characterized by various properties. He is a dispersion varnish, so a water-based paint.
- the paint dries on the substrate 06 mainly by knocking. This means that water and other possibly contained liquid constituents of the paint are absorbed by the printing substrate 06 and solid constituents of the paint remain on a surface of the printing material 06.
- the paint is such that such a drying process happens relatively quickly, and so fast that the paint, which is located on the substrate 06, dries after his order before the substrate 06 with its painted spot a next contact to another component a printing machine containing the coating 01 has. This ensures that both of the paint-covered paint, as well as the paint itself can no longer lubricate the substrate 06 and even with high color coverage produce clean printed products.
- the coating unit 01 is arranged along a transport path of the substrate 06 processed by the printing press and the coating unit 01 for a printing unit 11.
- the printing substrate 06 is transported at an equal speed by the printing press when the coating unit 01 is set up as without an applied coating unit 01, namely at 10 to 17 m / s and preferably at 12 to 15 m / s, without the undried lacquer after it was applied to the substrate 06, with something other than the substrate 06 and the surrounding air comes into contact.
- a dryer is not necessary for this drying process.
- a roller 12 of the printing unit 11 (Wobei with a roller 12 in this context, a cylinder 12 should be referred to.)
- a roller 02; 07; 09 of the coating unit 01 which may be an anilox roller 02 or an applicator roller 07, no dryer arranged.
- no dryer is arranged along the transport path of the printing substrate 06 between the printing unit 11 and a folding apparatus and / or a cutting device, and even more preferred, no dryer is arranged in the printing machine at all.
- the coating unit 01 follows along the transport path of the printing material 06, apart from, guide rollers or other devices that serve a change in direction of the transport path, directly a former or a folder, a cutting device or other component of the printing press, in and / or of the printing material 06 and / or on or in the printing substrate 06 located inks and / or paints and / or constituents of these paints and / or paints only mechanically, but in no way chemically or by the action of electromagnetic radiation or electron beams or changes in temperatures, be treated. Under a cutting device is also a perforating to understand.
- a smallest dimension between a contacting the substrate 06 roller 12 of the printing unit 11 and a paint-transferring roller 02; 07; 09 of the coating unit 01 along the transport path of the printing material 06 is less than 4 m and more preferably less than 2 m.
- the lacquer disposed inside the chambered doctor blade 03 can be, for example, a gloss lacquer, a matt lacquer or a milky lacquer, it can also produce a metallic and / or a glitter effect and / or it can be a fragrant lacquer containing fragrances in tiny capsules that are released during friction, for example.
- the rotary-rotary offset printing machine comprises at least one machine section, each machine section comprises at least one printing unit and each printing unit comprises at least one printing unit 11.
- each printing unit comprises four printing units 11, which are designed as double offset printing 11, ie in particular two forme cylinder 14 and two with the Form cylinders 14 in contact, serving as a counter-pressure cylinder 12 transfer cylinder 12th
- the coating unit 01 may be constructed so that substrate 06 during the painting process vertically or horizontally or obliquely, ie with vertical and horizontal directional components, is transported.
- the printing material 06 is transported in one direction through the coating unit 01 whose vertical component is larger, as its horizontal component and more preferably the printing material 06 is transported exclusively vertically through the coating unit 01, since there are advantages in connection with a vertical web guide in the printing unit 11 cooperating with the coating device 01.
- It is at least a pair of two rollers 02; 07; 08; 09 are arranged, which together form a Lackierspalt through which the substrate 06 is transported in a painting.
- These two rollers 02; 07; 08; 09 are arranged such that a first plane including a horizontal plane includes an angle of less than 45 °, and more preferably less than 30 °, and more preferably between 1 ° and 20 °.
- the first plane is set such that it has an axis of rotation of one of these two rollers 02; 07; 08; 09 includes and that it is a point of a rotation axis of the other of these two rollers 02; 07; 08; 09, which is within one of the other of these two rollers 02; 07; 08; 09 fixed volume. It is possible to arrange the coating unit 01 so that a printing material 06 is fed directly to the coating unit 01 after printing.
- the coating unit 01 is preferably arranged directly on a printing unit or in a superstructure of a printing press.
- the coating unit 01 is arranged so that at least one axis of rotation of an anilox roller 09 of the coating 01 is arranged further above, as all axes of rotation of cylinders 14 and other cylinders 12 and rollers 12 in a the coating unit 01 with respect to a transport direction of the printing material 06 upstream printing unit are arranged.
- the coating unit 01 may also comprise further components, for example the one or more application rollers 07 and / or one or more rollers 08 designed as counter-pressure rollers 08.
- the peripheral speed of the anilox rollers 02 and / or Application rollers 07 and / or counter-pressure rollers 08 preferably equal to the speed at which the printing substrate 06 is transported in the printing operation by the printing press and in particular by the coating unit 01.
- the direction of rotation of the anilox rollers 02 and / or applicator rollers 07 and / or counterpressure rollers 08 ensures that only rolling contacts between anilox rollers 02 and / or applicator rollers 07 and / or counterpressure rollers 08 and the printing substrate 06 are possible.
- This series of embodiments is not exhaustive, other embodiments are also conceivable.
- the printing substrate 06 is in printing operation in direct contact with the anilox roller 02.
- the paint is thus transferred from the wells in the lateral surface of the anilox roller 02 directly to the substrate 06.
- the transferred from the individual wells paint points are still slightly after their transfer and connect with each other, so that at the desired locations on the substrate 06 a continuous paint surface is achieved.
- a relatively finely screened screen roller 02 is used, which means that in the case of a line structure, the density of the lines is preferably between 90 and 130 lines per cm.
- the printing material 06 is pressed by a looping to the anilox roller 02, ie the substrate 06 touches the anilox roller 02 not only on a line parallel to a rotation axis of the anilox roller 02, but the substrate 06 touches the anilox roller 02 flat by a piece along a circumference of the anilox roller 02 is carried.
- the proportion of the lateral surface of the anilox roller 02, which is in contact with the printing substrate 06 at a time, depends on the angle that the transported to the anilox roller 02 and the transported away from the anilox roller 02 substrate 06 include. This angle also affects the force with which the printing material 06 is pressed against the anilox roller 02.
- the printing material 06 is first performed in the painting operation with its one side on the anilox roller 02 of a coating unit 01 and provided with paint, then the other side of the printing material 06 is guided along the anilox roller 02 of the other coating unit 01 and provided with paint.
- a contact force is generated by the wrapping of the printing substrate 06 to the respective anilox roller 02, whereby the paint from the wells of the anilox roller 02 is transferred out to the substrate 06.
- a location of the printing substrate 06 is not simultaneously painted from both sides in the painting, but between the application of the paint on one side of the printing material 06 and the application of the paint on the other side of the printing material 06 passes a time difference .DELTA.t, which depends on the speed at which the printing substrate 06 is transported and the distance between the anilox rollers 02 from one another.
- the printing substrate 06 is, as in the embodiment 1, provided directly from the anilox roller 02 with paint.
- the anilox roller 02 is formed as in Embodiment 1 and the transfer of the paint is the same as in Example 1, also here run the transferred paint dots still at the desired locations on the substrate 06 to a continuous paint surface.
- a counter-pressure roller 08 presses the printing substrate 06 against the anilox roller 02 in order to achieve a better contact between the anilox roller 02 and printing material 06 and thereby to improve the transfer of the paint from the depressions of the anilox roller 02 to the printing substrate 06.
- the counter-pressure roller 08 is preferably formed on its lateral surface of a relatively soft material to ensure that the substrate 06 is pressed against the anilox roller 02 and the transfer of the paint is improved on the substrate 06.
- the lateral surface of the counterpressure roller 08 has a Shore A hardness between 30 and 70, more preferably, the lateral surface of the counterpressure roller 08 has a Shore A hardness of 60.
- the material of the lateral surface of the counter-pressure roller 08 may be, for example, rubber or polyurethane.
- the printing material 06 is first performed with its one side of the anilox roller 02 of a coating unit 01 and provided by the contact pressure of a platen roller 08 with paint, then the other side of the substrate 06 to the anilox 02 of the other coating unit 01 along guided and provided by the contact pressure of a counter-pressure roller 08 with paint.
- the anilox roller 02 is next to the chambered doctor blade 03 also with an applicator roller 07 in contact.
- the application roller 07 is in turn in rolling contact with the printing material 06. Since the printing material 06 is not in direct contact with the anilox roller 02, in the case of a linear structure of the depressions in the lateral surface of the anilox roller 02, the density of the lines is preferably in the range of 40 to 80 lines per cm.
- the printing material 06 wraps around the applicator roller 07, so that the contact between applicator roller 07 and substrate 06 is not formed as a line, but as a surface and a contact pressure between the substrate 06 and application roller 07 is generated.

- the applicator roller 07 is such that only certain, selectively selectable parts of the lateral surface of the applicator roll 07 accept paint and thus can transfer. In this way it is ensured that for each printed portion of the printing substrate 06, for example, per printed side of a printed product, always an equal part of the Section painted or not painted.
- the application rollers 07 do not press from both sides against the same location of the printing substrate 06, a location of the printing substrate 06 is painted not simultaneously from both sides in the painting, but between the application of the paint on one side of the printing substrate 06 and the application of the paint on the other side of the printing material 06 passes a time difference .DELTA.t, which depends on the speed at which the printing substrate 06 is transported and the distance between the applicator rollers 07 from each other.
- the application roller 07 of one or both coating units 01 can be designed so that a spot coating can be carried out with it.
- a Counterpressure roller 08 presses the printing substrate 06 against the applicator roller 07, in order to achieve a better contact between the applicator roller 07 and substrate 06 and thereby to improve the transfer of the paint from the applicator roller 07 to the substrate 06.

- the lateral surface of the applicator roller 07 has a Shore A hardness between 30 and 70, more preferably, the lateral surface of the applicator roller 07 has a Shore A hardness of 60 on.
- the material of the lateral surface of the applicator roller 07 may be for example rubber or polyurethane.
- the material of the lateral surface of the counter-pressure roller 08 is harder than the material of the lateral surface of the applicator roller 07, preferably has a Shore A hardness of more than 70 and may be, for example, Rilsan.
- the application roller 07 can also be designed as a spot-coating roller.
- the applicator roller 07 is designed in size so that its circumference is equal to the circumference of a transfer cylinder in a printing unit 11 of the printing press.
- the applicator roller 07 is such that only certain, selectively selectable, parts of the lateral surface of the applicator roll 07 accept paint and thus can transfer. In this way, it is ensured that for each printed portion of the printing substrate 06, for example, per printed side of a printed product, always a same part of the section is painted or not painted.
- the printing material 06 can each wrap around the applicator roller 07 and / or the counterpressure roller 08 or can also be guided in a straight line between the applicator roller 07 and the counterpressure roller 08. Since the application rollers 07 do not press from both sides against the same location of the printing material 06 in Lackier surveillance a point of the substrate 06 is not painted simultaneously from both sides, but between the application of the paint on one side of the substrate 06 and the application of the paint on the other side of the printing material 06 passes a time difference .DELTA.t, which depends on the speed at which the printing substrate 06 is transported and the distance of the applicator rollers 07 from one another.

- the two rollers 09 used as application rollers 07 paint the printing substrate 06 at different locations and do not serve each other as a counterpressure roller 08.
- the result is a coating unit configuration as in exemplary embodiment 3 (FIG. Fig. 6c) ).
- a roller 09 used in this case as a counterpressure roller 08 can be a roller 09 which can be used both as a pure counterpressure roller 08 and simultaneously as a counterpressure roller 08 and applicator roller 07. It is also possible with this printing unit 01, all rollers 02; 07; 08; 09 so that only one side of the substrate 06 is painted.

- Each roller 09 used exclusively in this exemplary embodiment as a counter-pressure roller 08 preferably has a material on its lateral surface which repels the substance applied to the printing substrate 06 before contact with this counterpressure roller 06, ie either paint or varnish, in order on its side Printing material 06 applied paint or the applied on their side of the substrate 06 paint during the painting process of the other side of the printing material 06 does not smear.

Even more preferably, a part of a housing of the coating 01, which is not moved, rigidly connected to a part of a housing of the printing unit 11, which is also not displaced, while another part of the housing of the coating 01, which is moved with a other part of the housing of the printing unit 11 is rigidly connected, which can be moved, for example, for maintenance ( Fig. 7 ).
- the coating unit 01 is not designed to be divisible, its housing is preferably rigidly connected to at least part of the housing of the printing unit 11 (FIG. Fig. 8 ).
- a rigid connection is a connection between two parts to understand, although in principle, for example by loosening screws or the like, can be separated, but can not be moved relative to each other in the normal case, and especially in the case of a running operation.
- the coating unit 01 is formed divisible, preferably each with an at least partially painted side of the substrate 06 in contact standing anilox rollers 02 and / or applicator rollers 07 and / or counter-pressure rollers 08 of the coating 01 are placed on the substrate 06.

- an applicator roller 07 is arranged in the coating unit 01, this can be such that they only on the part of their Extension in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the anilox roller 02 record and can transfer paint, which comes into contact with the part of the printing material 06, to be applied to the paint.
- a chambered doctor blade 03 is preferably arranged, which in its extent with respect to the direction parallel to a rotational axis of an adjacent anilox roller 02 is the same size as the area of the printing material 06 to be painted , That is, possibly smaller than an extension of the printing material 06 in the direction perpendicular to the transport direction of the printing material 06, and which is arranged so that in the paint operation paint is ultimately transmitted exclusively to the desired locations of the printing material 06.

- this printing material strand can also be painted, ie. H.
- Each Spotlackierwalze may be formed as a flexographic printing roll, in which the selection of the painting areas is determined by a different radius at the appropriate location.
- two spot-coating rollers should preferably not be mutually attached as counter-pressure rollers 08, since occurring different radii on at least one flexographic printing roller can not ensure a constant backpressure over a peripheral surface of the flexographic printing roller.
- the property of whether varnish is transferred or not can be influenced, for example, by the choice of the surface material, for example in the manner in which offset printing is also used.
- the coating unit 01 forms in all the described embodiments, together with the printing substrate 06, a system consisting of the respective coating unit 01 and the substrate 06 arranged therein.
- a number of rollers 09 between chambered doctor blade 03 and substrate 06 can also be increased if a desired amount of paint transferred should be correspondingly smaller.

- a lift which has a same sequence of layers, such as at least one printing unit working in at least one, the same printing material (06) arranged elevator.
Description
The invention relates to a roll-rotary offset printing machine according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a method for using a roll-rotary offset printing machine according to the preamble of
In the production of printed products, it is a known procedure to coat these printed products with a lacquer layer. As a result, on the one hand a protective effect is achieved, because it is previously fixed to a substrate applied color and discoloration or smearing of the color, for example, on parts of a printing press, on other printed products or on the hands of a person handling the printed products, is prevented. On the other hand results in a higher quality appearing printed product, because by a variety of different paints different effects are possible. For example, it is possible to use glossy or matt paints that completely or partially cover the printed product. Scented coatings, which release a fragrance stored in tiny capsules with slight friction, or paints with a metallic or glitter effect are known. This results in a metallic effect by a variety of contained in the paint, shiny metallic particles, while a glitter effect is due to a variety of contained in the paint, for example, iridescent and / or fluorescent, rather larger particles.

The invention has for its object to provide a rotary-rotary offset printing machine and a method of using a rotary-rotary offset printing machine.
The object is achieved by the features of claim 1 and the features of
The advantages which can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the printed products treated with the coating unit have a multiplicity of the advantages which can typically be achieved by means of coating installations, in comparison to unpainted printed products, such as gloss and contrast improvement and greatly reduced Lubrication and high-quality paper, although the coating is also relatively simple and requires no downstream dryer. Thus, by using cheaper paper, costs can be reduced.
Another advantage is that a risk of smearing of printing inks or paint on a substrate is reduced, because all occurring contacts between participating anilox rollers of the coating and / or application rollers of the coating and / or counter-pressure rollers of the coating and / or transfer cylinders and / or Substrate are rolling contacts. This gentle treatment facilitates drying without a dryer, since no dryer is necessary to protect freshly applied printing inks or lacquers from smearing.
Another advantage is that, by means of an arrangement of rollers forming a painting nip, such that a point containing one of its axes of rotation and a roller associated with the other axis of rotation and within a volume of the roller associated with that other axis of rotation is in a plane inclined at less than 45 ° to the horizontal an arrangement of the coating unit at a particularly favorable location within a printing press, in particular on a printing unit and / or a printing tower is made possible without complicating a web guide and / or so that unnecessarily many guide rollers before painting with a printed image in Come in contact.
It is also advantageous that not only less space is required by the elimination of the dryer, but also investment and ongoing costs can be saved, such as energy or maintenance costs.
For example, that can Lackierwerk be inserted into the superstructure of a printing press. The space required is also low, because no dryer is arranged, a distance between the printing unit and coating unit is relatively small and the coating unit is relatively simple and compact
Es fällt somit auch kein Sonderabfall an.Another advantage is the elimination of volatile organic compounds and other, such as environmentally hazardous substances, such as may occur in paints that need to be dried by means of UV radiation. There is thus no special waste.
Another advantage is that the paint arranged in the coating unit is a water-based lacquer which dries so fast, for example, by striking that the coating unit can be arranged in a roll rotary offset printing machine, without a transport speed of a printing material being smaller. than the usual with this printing unit without active coating unit transport speed of the printing substrate of about 12 - 15 m / s. Thus, there is no speed penalty over Lackierwerken that work for example with a UV coating system. A transport path after applying the paint is thus kept small.
Another advantage is that is prevented by a storability of a standing in contact with an at least partially coated side of the printing material in that at a standstill of the substrate, especially in an emergency shutdown of the coating and / or the printing press, the substrate at the corresponding Stick roller. A direction of a corresponding Abstellbewegung is chosen so that it can be achieved by a simple construction as possible, so for example, a linear movement and / or pivotal movement with components exclusively in directions perpendicular to axes of rotation of components of the coating.
Another advantage is that, in conjunction with a previous printing of a substrate by means of a printing unit exclusively with dry offset inks, a particularly fast repelling of the liquid portions of the disposed paint occurs, whereby reductions in the printing material web speed can be further avoided. This advantage arises from the fact that the substrate has not come into contact with water-containing material until the application of the paint and thus still has a very high absorbency.
Another advantage is that, in connection with a previous print with "coldset colors", no drying device is required for the entire production process of the printed products, whereby dryer-related disadvantages, such as a too low moisture content of the printing material, can be avoided in the manufacturing process.
Another advantage is that by limiting a transferred amount of paint by means of a scoop volume of an anilox roller negative effects such as waves in the substrate can be avoided.
Another advantage is that it can be ensured by own drives to the anilox rollers that a transferred amount of paint exactly meets the requirements and not too much or too little paint is transferred. This is further promoted by the existing between all rollers rolling contacts.
Another advantage is that the paint shop, if it is divisible, is more accessible for maintenance and other occasions and in the case of co-operating with the coating unit, divisible printing unit can be shared with this together, resulting in, for example, maintenance of coating unit and printing unit further simplify.
Another advantage is that the coating unit can be designed in various configurations, for example, with few rollers to save costs, or with many rollers, for example, flexographic printing rollers or rollers for double-sided coating order to further increase a Lackierqualität.

Volume completely off. More preferably, the supply line, the discharge, the chambered
The
In the case of a line structure, a density of the lines is 40 to 130 lines per cm. If the
Even with a different arrangement of the recesses, for example in a regular-point or stochastic structure, such a defined, adapted to the application Schöpfvolumen is preferred, in particular in the above-mentioned frame. In the painting operation, the
For example, the color processed by the printing press may be color for the printer conventional offset printing or preferably dry offset ink and it is preferably already at least partially dried before the paint is applied. Due to the better water absorption capabilities of the
The arranged in the volume inside the chambered
The
In addition, it is preferable along this transport path of the
The rotary-rotary offset printing machine comprises at least one machine section, each machine section comprises at least one printing unit and each printing unit comprises at least one
The
In addition to the components described, the

Each
Each
The following describes details of the
If desired, only one partial web can be painted with the
If an entire printing material strand, that is to say a plurality of superimposed layers of
If two
Each Spotlackierwalze may be formed as a flexographic printing roll, in which the selection of the painting areas is determined by a different radius at the appropriate location. It should be noted that two spot-coating rollers should preferably not be mutually attached as
A number of
A continuous lacquer surface is preferably achieved in that a lacquer on the
Preferably, at least one roller (07, 08, 09) of the coating unit (01) can be arranged or arranged with a lift, which has a same sequence of layers, such as at least one printing unit working in at least one, the same printing material (06) arranged elevator. As a result, used components are standardized, resulting in less administrative and labor.
