Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp socket, in particular for a vehicle headlight, for fixing a light source to a light bulb receptacle of a reflector.
- a lamp holder is used for the secure attachment of a light source to a vehicle headlight and the contact of the bulb with a power source or a controller.
- the lamp socket must securely hold the lamp in the vehicle headlight, so that the lamp is reliably fixed in a position on a reflector even in the case of loads occurring during vehicle operation.
- the electrical contact of the lamp with a power supply or a control must be ensured regardless of external loads. Furthermore, it is desirable that the light source can be replaced with little effort.
- Lamp holders are known from the prior art, which at the
- the locking tab can be solved by a defined release force across the insertion direction of the lamp holder of the latching hook.
- spring elements are provided which act on the lamp with a directed towards the reflector force, so that the light source is pressed without play against the reflector.
- the latching tab is arranged eccentrically to the direction of action of the spring elements, additional tilting forces can act on the lamp holder by the spring elements. These can lead to tilting and thus tilting of the lamp holder on the reflector.
- the position of the latching tab relative to the latching hook can also change, as a result of which the release force necessary for releasing the latching tab may be reduced or increased.
- the object of the invention is to provide a lamp holder, which ensures a secure hold of a lamp and ensures a consistently good disassembly regardless of the spring used.
- a lamp holder for achieving the object, in particular for a vehicle headlamp, for fixing a luminous means to a luminous means receptacle of a reflector, wherein the lamp socket can be inserted by insertion in an insertion direction into an installation position on a luminous means receptacle, in particular a reflector.
- the lamp holder has at least one first spring, which can act on the lamp socket with a bias acting against the insertion direction bias.
- a second spring is provided on the lamp holder, which can act on the lamp holder with a bias acting transversely to the direction of insertion. This second spring is arranged such that the spring force of the second spring counteracts the tilting forces generated by the first spring.
- the transverse force generated by the second spring pushes the lamp holder against stops so that it is securely positioned. This ensures that no additional forces act on the latching hook and the latching tab is located relative to the latching hook in a defined position, so that always a constant release force is ensured.
- the second spring is supported on the bulb receptacle of
- the illuminant receptacle can have, for example, a support wall on which the second spring can be supported.
- a protrusion or a surface is provided on the bulb receptacle, which compresses the second spring during insertion of the lamp holder in the bulb receptacle.
- the second spring is compressed so when inserting the lamp holder in the bulb receptacle and thus biased inevitably during assembly of the lamp socket.
- the lamp holder can, for example, have a latching tab, which acts on a latching hook of the illuminant receptacle and thus fixes the lamp holder to the illuminant receptacle.
- the latching tab acts on a latching hook of the bulb receptacle and can be solved by a defined release force of this.
- the locking tab is made in one piece with the lamp socket.
- the latching tab may for example be a resilient component on the lamp holder and be made in one piece with the lamp holder, for example made of plastic.
- the second spring is preferably arranged on the side surface of the lamp socket, on which there is also the latching tab.
- the lamp holder for example, at least one guide groove or guide rail arranged in the insertion direction is provided, which can engage in a guide rail or guide groove provided on the lamp receptacle.
- the guide groove or the guide rail is provided on one of the latching tab and / or the second spring opposite side of the lamp socket.
- the second spring is ideally arranged so that it presses the lamp holder against the guide rails or the guide groove of the bulb receptacle.
- the first spring and / or the second spring are preferably made of a sheet metal strip.
- first spring and / or the second spring may each have one
- Be a leaf spring This can be easily made from a sheet metal strip and attached to the lamp holder.
- the spring strength can be varied as desired.
- such a leaf spring has a low overall height, so that the lamp socket can be made very flat.
- two first springs which are arranged parallel to one another, may be provided on the lamp socket. Through the two springs is the
- Lamp socket symmetrical with a directed against the insertion direction
- the first springs may for example be made in one piece from sheet metal. As a result, the number of components of the lamp socket is reduced, so that the assembly is simplified.
- the lamp holder has a holder for a light source.
- the light source is used before mounting the lamp holder in this holder and held on this, so that the lamp can be used together with the lamp holder in the bulb receptacle.
- the insertion of the bulb is so much easier, since it is firmly held on the lamp socket.
- an assembly is provided for a headlight, in particular a vehicle headlight, with a reflector which has a light-emitting means receptacle, a lighting means and a lamp socket according to the invention.
- the illuminant receptacle preferably has guide rails or guide grooves, into which the lamp holder can be inserted. As a result, the lamp holder can be aligned when inserted into the illuminant receptacle, so that tilting or incorrect insertion of the lamp holder in the illuminant receptacle is precluded.
- the illuminant receptacle preferably has a latching hook, on which the lamp holder can be fixed in an insertion position.
- a catch tab provided on the lamp socket can engage in this latching hook.
- FIG. 1 shows a lamp socket according to the invention with a luminous means
- FIG. 2 shows the lamp socket from FIG. 1 with an inserted illuminant
- FIG. 3 shows an assembly for a headlamp with a lamp socket according to the invention
- FIG. 4 shows the assembly from FIG. 3 with a lamp socket according to the invention in the assembled state
- FIG. 5 is a detailed view of the assembly of FIG. 3 during an intermediate step of assembling the lamp socket
- FIG. 6 shows a detailed view of the assembly from FIG. 4.
- FIG. 1 shows a lamp holder 10, which is used to attach a
- Bulb 12 for example, an incandescent lamp for a vehicle headlamp, is used at a lamp receptacle of a reflector.
- the lamp holder 10 has a holder 14 for receiving the lamp 12, in which the lamp 12 is inserted before mounting the lamp holder 10.
- the holder 14 here has contact terminals 15, which clamp the contacts of the lamp 12 and contact the lamp 12 with a power source or a controller.
- the lamp 12 is securely fixed by the contact terminals 15 in the lamp holder 10 ( Figure 2).
- the holder 14 can also be designed differently, for example, depending on the lighting means 12, or hold the lighting means 12 in a different way.
- the holder 14 does not have to have any contact terminals 15.
- the holder 14 may also have, for example, a thread into which the lamp 12 can be screwed.
- the lamp holder 10 is here cast in one piece from plastic and has two guide grooves 16, which are arranged in the direction of insertion direction R and can engage in corresponding guide rails 18 on a lamp holder 20 of a reflector 22 ( Figures 3 and 4). These serve to align the lamp socket 10 when inserted into the bulb receptacle 20 and the additional stabilization in the installed state.
- the guide grooves 16 can also be provided on the illuminant receptacle 20 and the guide rails 18 on the lamp holder 10.
- locking tab 24 is provided which can engage in a provided on the lamp holder 20 latching hook 26 and so fixed the lamp holder 10 to the Leuchtmitteiability 20 of the reflector 22.
- the locking tab 24 can be solved by a defined release force across the insertion direction R. In order to ensure easy release of the locking tab 24 and thus rapid disassembly of the lamp holder 10, the release force is preferably less than 25 N.
- the first springs 28 can, in an installed position of the lamp holder 10 on the illuminant receptacle 20 of the reflector 22, act on the lamp holder 10 with a restoring force directed against the insertion direction R, which is preferably between 15 N and 30 N.
- the lamp 12 is pressed in the installed state of the lamp holder 10 against the lamp holder 10 and kept free of play, on the other hand, the lamp holder 10 and the latching tab 24 of the lamp holder 10 is pressed against the latching hook 26, so that the lamp holder 10th is securely clamped in the bulbs Aufauf 20.
- a second spring 32 is provided on the side surface of the latching tab 24, the lamp holder 10 in the installed position on the lamp holder 10 with a direction transverse to the insertion direction R acting bias can apply.
- This second spring 32 is supported, when the lamp holder 10 is mounted in the lamp holder 20, on a wall 36, which is formed at the foot of the latching hook 26.
- the transverse force generated by the spring 32 presses the guide grooves 16 firmly against the guide rails 18, so that the lamp holder 10, despite the order of the latching hook 26 at a distance from the line of action of the first spring (s) 28 can not tilt.
- the release force of the locking tab 24 is thus independent of the spring force of the first spring 28, so that a constant release force is ensured.
- the second spring 32 is designed such that it is biased only when inserting the lamp holder 10 in the bulb receptacle 20.
- the wall 36 is arranged so that the second spring 32 only shortly before reaching the end position of the lamp holder i ⁇ cooperates with the wall 36, whereby it is biased in a further insertion of the lamp holder 10 in the direction of insertion R ( Figures 5 and 6).
- the first springs 28 and the second spring 32 are here each made of a flat, thin sheet metal. Of course, for the first springs
- first spring 28 and the second spring 32 may be provided any other spring elements.
- only a first spring 28 may be provided. This can be arranged arbitrarily on the lamp holder 10.
- the second spring 32 may be disposed at any position on the lamp holder 10, which is adapted to compensate for the transverse forces acting by the first spring 28. It is also conceivable that a plurality of second springs 32 are provided on the lamp holder 10.
- the guide rails 18 and the guide grooves 16 can also be arbitrarily placed depending on the requirements or the installation conditions as the locking tab 24. Instead of the locking tab 24 and embodiments with other mounting options are conceivable.
