Description

The invention relates to a rest furniture, in particular a sleeping or lying furniture, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Resting furniture, in particular sleeping or lying furniture, differ substantially due to different sleep cultures in different states and continents. However, different rest furniture also arises Depending on the application, on the one hand in houses, hotels, hospitals and on the other hand in the vehicle sector, especially in trucks, caravans and ships. Due to different sleeping habits and purposes of use, the rest furniture differs by their expansion.

In known rest furniture find so-called slatted frames as a base for mattresses use. The slatted frames have transverse strips, in particular slats, which are mounted with resilient bearing means on a rigid frame. The frame makes the suspension cumbersome and difficult to handle. The frame also requires frames adapted to it.

Out WO 2006/114554 A1 It is known that the bearing means of the slats are fixed or movable attached to a flexible side strand of the spring base. The bearing means form an integral part of the side strand or even a portion of the side strand itself. The integral connection of the bearing means to the side strand does not allow the spring to be adjusted individually.

The invention has for its object to provide a rest furniture, especially a sleeping or lying furniture, which is modular and individually applicable.

A rest furniture for solving this problem has the features of claim 1. Due to the fact that the suspension is at least partially frameless and assigned to it a suspension means, the lower suspension can be handled easily. It can be transported rolled up, for example. The support means associated with the suspension can be designed individually, as a result of which it can be adapted to the respective purpose of use and the prevailing sleeping habits. The suspension element can be a separate component between the support and the lower suspension or under the suspension. In this case, the support means serves not only to stabilize the suspension, but also as an adapter for adapting the suspension to any, even existing, conditions. The support means may also be formed by the support itself, for example, a bed frame. In addition, at least one side strand is assigned to each longitudinal side of the lower suspension. The bearing means assigned to the same longitudinal side are connected to the at least one lateral strand of each longitudinal side of the lower spring. The bearing means and their associated strips, in particular spring strips are chained together on each side of the spring base, which are fixed by the side strands, the distances of the bearing means with each other and thus the distances between the mutually parallel extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the resting furniture bars. The side strands thereby serve to position all bearing means. The bearing means are immovably connected to the retaining strands, so that the bearing means and the strips maintain their intended parallel distances from one another. These compounds are detachable, whereby a simple replacement of the bearing means is possible and also the number of bearing means can be changed according to the needs, if by a larger or smaller number of strips of the distance between the strips to be changed. The at least one side strand is formed from a flat belt.

The spring base has a plurality of transverse, spaced parallel to each other extending strips, in particular spring strips, opposite ends of the strips associated resilient bearing means and flexible, pliable side strands on which the bearing means are fastened. Such a bottom suspension can be rolled up due to the flexible, flexible side strands. This makes it possible to transport and accommodate the base suspension in a simple and space-saving manner. For this purpose, the side strands are designed as flexible straps, as ropes or as bands. The flexible, low-limb side strands can If necessary, be stretchable, so that the length of the spring base can be changed according to the needs.

An advantageous development of the rest furniture provides to train at least some storage means in itself movable or vibratory. Such storage means allow movements or vibrations of the spring base, in particular their strips or slats to. The bearing means may be arranged to allow or induce movements or oscillations in any direction, either in only a single direction or in several directions. Preferably, it is provided that the base suspension or the strips or slats perform movements and / or vibrations in one direction only. This single direction of movement then runs in particular in the longitudinal direction of the strips or slats. As a result, the person lying on the lower suspension performs transverse movements or vibrations.

A preferred development of the rest furniture, it provides that the side strands of the spring base are connected at each of its opposite ends by a respective rigid cross member, such as a rod, a bar, a board or an angle section. As a result, the side strands are held together at opposite ends of the strips, in particular kept at a distance. The rigid cross struts facilitate the Auflwickeln the spring back and stabilize them in the wound state.

Die Lösbarkeit der Verbindungen lässt ein platzsparendes Zusammenlegen des Tragmittels beispielsweise zum Transport desselben zu.Furthermore, it may optionally be provided to form the support means as a preferably rigid frame, which stabilizes the flexible spring base in the use state, preferably holds in a plane spanned by the frame level. The support means preferably has supports for at least portions of the side strands. These requirements ensure that the side strands rest firmly on the support means and the support means gives the spring support stability, the known lower suspension obtained from the firmly connected frame. The support means can be designed as desired, whereby adaptations to different purposes of the suspension and different sleep cultures are possible. The support means may be formed of individual parts, in particular longitudinal members and cross members, from which by releasable connections of the rigid frame is formed. The solubility of the compounds allows a space-saving folding of the support means, for example, to transport the same.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the support means is formed by solid side members with the supports for the side strands and the side members are preferably releasably connectable to the provided at the ends of the spring support cross braces to form a stable frame to support the spring base, in particular their side strands. This support means has a simple structure, namely requires only two additional side members, which together with the cross struts of the spring base result in the form of a stable frame support means.

The rest furniture according to the invention provides to associate the support means of the support for the lower suspension. Preferably, the support means is formed by the support, so that the support means is an integral part of the support and thus the support simultaneously forms the support means. This embodiment of the invention is particularly useful when the invention is realized together with an existing edition, which is designed so that it is suitable to support or support the lower suspension, in particular the flexible side strands thereof. In this case, it can be an existing bed or an existing couch, in particular lower parts of the same.

A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the features of claim 9. The thus provided intermediate pieces for connecting the strips, in particular their ends, with the bearing means make it possible to connect strips of different cross-sections with the bearing means. Alternatively or additionally, the intermediate pieces can also serve to increase the height of the strips over the bearing means to change. Overall, the spacers serve to form an adapter in order to connect the strips with the bearing means individually preferably detachable.

The intermediate pieces are assigned to the ends of the strips, preferably in such a way that the intermediate pieces are plugged onto the ends of the strips or inserted into the ends of the hollow strips. This creates a form-fitting connection between the strips and the intermediate pieces. The intermediate pieces may be designed so that they can be connected to the ends of different cross-sections having strips. But it is also conceivable; to use different, suitable intermediate pieces for different strips. As a result of the intermediate pieces, it is possible to connect different strips with one and the same bearing means form fit.

In a preferred embodiment of the intermediate pieces, it is provided to connect them detachably with the bearing means, preferably by plugging, notches or the like. These detachable connections make it possible to exchange the storage means or the strips in order to change the properties of the suspension, namely to adapt them individually to the requirements, in particular different sleep cultures. It is provided according to a further preferred embodiment of the intermediate pieces, this form so that they connect the ends of the strips at different height levels with the bearing bodies. By selecting appropriate spacers so the height level of the strips relative to the bearing bodies can be changed individually. It is also conceivable, the intermediate pieces in such a way that they are elastic or resilient. As a result, the elastic properties of the lower suspension can be changed with the intermediate pieces.

A possible development of the invention is that at least some intermediate pieces and / or bearing means are designed so that they allow movements or vibrations of the strips, in particular slats. These may be single or multi-axis movements or vibrations. At least some bearing means and / or intermediate pieces are preferred designed so that they allow movements or oscillations of the strips or slats in the longitudinal direction, wherein the person resting on the lower spring person is moved in the transverse direction. The described development of the invention increases the comfort of the rest furniture.

A preferred development of the rest furniture provides, at least some storage means allocate facilities for changing their spring properties. These devices are preferably used to change the spring characteristic of the ends of the strips resiliently supported bearing means. As a result, the elasticity behavior of the spring suspension can be changed individually to adapt to the desired sleeping and lying habits. It is conceivable to design the devices so that the spring properties of the bearing means can be changed manually or automatically. In addition, it is possible to detachably connect the devices to selected bearing means. The facilities can be assigned specifically to such storage means whose spring properties are to be changed.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, it is conceivable to associate actuators with at least some bearing means for changing the spring properties of these bearing means and / or for periodically raising and lowering the spring means. Such actuators may serve to stimulate the person sitting on the reclining furniture. The actuators make it possible to create rest furniture for therapeutic purposes.

Further advantageous embodiments of the rest furniture relate to additional facilities for massage and / or stimulation functions, for the production of sound waves or light rays. It is also conceivable to associate the mattress with sensors for measuring vital parameters of the person on the mattress and also air conditioning systems.

It is also conceivable to provide the rest furniture with so-called functional modules. These may be additional modules, which are preferably arranged between the suspension element and the lower suspension or are also integrated in the suspension element and / or the lower suspension. In these Functional modules are devices for adjusting the rest furniture, such as changing the inclination of a headboard and / or footboard. The joints required for this purpose can be the subject of the functional module. But they can also be integrated into the suspension. In this way it is possible to design the rest furniture individually and in particular to automate adjustments of the spring base. It is also possible to retrofit existing rest furniture with a functional module or individual functional elements of the same, so as to adapt or develop the rest furniture to changing requirements.

The invention is described below with reference to a bedroom furniture, namely one in the Fig. 1 illustrated bed 10, explained.

That in the Fig. 1 bed 10 shown in an exploded view has (from the bottom to the top) a bed frame 11, designed as a support frame 12 support means, a spring base 13 and a mattress 14. The bed frame 11 and the mattress 14 are formed in a conventional manner, so do not differ from the prior art.

In accordance with the invention, the lower spring 13 is formed, which, in contrast to known lower suspensions, which have a rigid frame, frameless and thus flexible. To stabilize the spring base 13 of this associated with the invention support frame 12 together, the bottom spring 13 and the support frame 12 form a stable unit by the support frame 12 serves as a support for the flexible spring base 13 and holds them in one plane. While the support frame 12 shown here extends straight in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10, the invention also includes modifications not shown with a longitudinal course 15 odd course of the support frame 12, whereby the spring base 13 this odd course following on the support frame 12 is fixed. For example, in bed furniture, the course of the support frame 12 and the base 13 held by it in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 may be arcuate or wavy. It is also conceivable that to a head-side and / or foot-side ends of the support frame 12 in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 slightly sloping or sloping runs or the head and / or foot-side end are pivotable.

The spring base 13 has a plurality of transverse to the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 extending strips 16, which may optionally be spring strips. The all mutually parallel bars 16 follow with preferably uniform intervals in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 to each other. In the illustrated embodiment, the spring base 13 eleven strips 16. These can be the same bars. It is also conceivable, however, to form the spring base 13 from different strips, in particular strips of different cross sections and stiffnesses. Also, the number of strips 16 may be arbitrary, that is not limited to the embodiment shown with eleven strips 16.

In the case of the spring base 13 shown here, a plurality of spaced spring bodies 17 are arranged on each strip 16. The distances between adjacent spring bodies 17 are preferably the same. Also, in the illustrated lower spring 13 all spring body 17 on each bar 16 are the same. However, it is also conceivable to assign different strips 16 different spring body 17 or to provide individual strips 16 with different spring bodies 16. It is also conceivable to provide the strips 16 of the spring base 13 with no spring bodies 17. Then the bottom of the mattress 14 is directly on the last 16. In the shown underspring 13 with spring bodies 17 on all strips 16, the bottom of the mattress is on support plates 18 of the spring body 17.

Each strip 16 is connected at its opposite ends 19 by means of an intermediate piece 20 to a bearing means 21. The bearing means 21 of all strips 16 are on each of the opposite longitudinal sides 22 of the spring base 13 are linked by a side string 23. The ends 24 of the side strands 23 on opposite longitudinal sides 22 of the spring base 13 are connected by transversely to the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 extending rigid crossbars 25. The spring base 13 thus has two parallel cross struts 25, namely a cross strut 25 at the head end and a second cross strut 25 at the foot of the bed 10. The cross struts 25 keep the flexible side strands 23 at a distance. In spite of the flexible side strands 23, the strips 16 are thereby held in their parallel orientation relative to one another by the bearing center 21 which is fixed immovably on the side strands 23. Due to the flexible design of the side strands 23, the spring base 13 is collapsible, in particular rollable, and that only about an axis which is parallel to the strips 16 and the cross braces 25.

The side strands 23 are formed in the illustrated embodiment of flat straps. The flat sides of the straps of both side strands 23 are in the flat spring base 13 shown here in a horizontal plane. Due to the formation of the side strands 23 of straps, the side strands 23 are limp and thus unstable in their longitudinal direction, ie highly flexible. At the location of the straps, the side strands 23 may also be formed from one or possibly more ropes or straps. The transverse struts 25 for connecting the ends 24 of the parallel side strands 23 on each longitudinal side 22 of the spring base 13 are formed in the embodiment shown as upright strips or boards. These are in contrast to the side strands 23 substantially rigid.

The bearing means 21 are spring-like, in such a way that they store the strips 16 elastically yielding. When in the Fig. 1 to 3 shown bed 10, all storage means 21 are formed the same, and as described in detail in the Fig. 4 are shown. Accordingly, each bearing means 21 essentially has an oval ring 26, the longer axis of which runs parallel to the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10, that is, lies on the longitudinal sides 22 of the spring base 13. Centered on the lower half of the ring 26 is a respective side branch in cross-section 23 encompassing lock 27 is arranged. The lock 27 has two halves, namely an upper half 28, the middle part of the lower portion of the ring 26 forms and a lower half 29. The lower half 29 is connected via a hinge forming pivot axis with the upper half 28. The pivot axis, not shown in the figures, runs parallel to an inner longitudinal edge of the side strand 23 to which the bearing means 21 is fastened. The pivotable lower half 29 of the lock 27 is releasably connectable to the upper half 28 with a closure 30. The closure 30 is designed as a releasable latching closure. The lock 27, either the upper half 28 or the lower half 29 of the same, is provided with a projection, not shown in the figures, which engages in a corresponding recess, preferably a circular opening 31 in the side rail 23. When the lock 27 is closed, the lock 27 surrounding the side rail 23 is thereby fixed in a form-fitting manner on the side rail 23. As a result, the bearing means 21 can not be displaced in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10 on the corresponding side string 23. The side strands 23 have such a number of openings 31, which corresponds to the number of the lateral strand 23 to be fastened bearing means 21. The distances of the apertures 31 along the side strands 23 correspond to the desired distances of the bearing means 21 in the longitudinal direction 15 of the bed 10. The positioning of the apertures 31 on both opposite side strands 23 are the same, so that all bearing means 21 on opposite longitudinal sides 22 of the spring base 13 each other lie opposite each other and all strips 16 parallel to each other. However, it is also conceivable to provide the side strands 23 with a larger number of apertures 31 than bearing means 21 are assigned to the respective side strands 23. This makes it possible to fix the bearing means 21 at different selected locations of the side strands 23 immovable.

On the upper half 28 of the latch 27, two parallel, elongated jaws 62 are provided. The running in the longitudinal direction of the strips 16 jaws 62 are used to attach a stop damper 63 on the lower inner side of the ring 26. For this purpose, formed of a soft plastic or rubber stop damper 63 is held by insertion between the jaws 62 on the bearing means 21.

Centered on the ring 26 of the bearing means 21, a bearing shell 32 for the intermediate piece 20 at one end of a bar 16 is arranged. The bearing shell 32 is formed as an open-topped semicircle. The free ends thereof bounding the open side of the bearing shell 32 are provided with elongate latching projections 33. The integrally formed on the ends of the bearing shell 32 locking projections 33 extend parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction of that bar 16, which is associated with the bearing means 21.

The entire bearing means 21, namely the ring 26, the lock 27 with two halves 28 and 29 and the bearing shell 32 are integrally made of plastic. In this case, the wall thickness of the ring 26 is dimensioned so that the ring 26 is elastically deformable under load of the respective bar 16, namely, can be compressed substantially in a vertical direction. The bearing means 21 thus allow a vertical up and down movement of the ends 19 of the strips 16. The cups 32 are moved up and down on a vertical path. The maximum downward movement of the respective bar 16 and thus the greatest deflection of the bearing means 21 is limited by the stop damper 63.

The intermediate piece 20 is formed so that it can be pushed onto one end 19 of the respective strip 16. By locking means, not shown in the figures, the intermediate piece 20 is fixed on the end 19 of the respective bar 16. The intermediate piece 20 has on the underside two in the longitudinal direction of the respective bar 16 extending latching projections 34. The .parallel extending elongated locking projections 34 correspond to the locking projections 33 on the bearing shell 32 of the bearing means 21 so that grooves 35 on the locking projections 34 of the bearing shell 32 in the locking projections 33 of the intermediate piece 20 are inserted. In this way, a positive connection between the intermediate piece 20 and the bearing means 21 comes about when the intermediate piece 20 is inserted into the bearing shell 32 of the bearing means 21 by a movement in the longitudinal direction of the bar 16. Secured is the connection of the intermediate piece 20 in the bearing shell 32 by not shown positive notches, which in the bearing shell 23 completely inserted intermediate piece 20, the connection between the bearing shell 32nd and secure the intermediate piece 20. However, this fuse is designed such that the connection of the intermediate piece 20 with the bearing shell 32 of the bearing means 21 is releasable.

The intermediate piece 20 is designed such that it corresponds to the cross section of the respective strip 16 and can be pushed onto the end 19 of the strip 16 in a precisely fitting manner. For each cross section of a bar 16 matching spacers 20 are provided. The adapted to different cross sections of the strips 16 spacers 20 each have locking projections 34 and overlying elongated grooves 35 which have the same dimensions and distances, so that different intermediate pieces 20 with the bearing shells 32 of the same bearing means 21 are connectable. Thus, 20 strips 16 of different cross sections can be connected to the same storage means 21 by using corresponding intermediate pieces. It is also possible to make the intermediate pieces of different heights. As a result, the height of the strips 16 relative to the bearing means 21 can be changed individually.

In the embodiment shown, the support frame 12 has two parallel longitudinal profiles 36 and two parallel transverse profiles 37. The longitudinal profile 36 and the transverse profiles 37 have an L-shaped cross section with a vertical leg 38 and a horizontal leg 39 at the lower end of the vertical leg 38. The horizontal legs 39 of the longitudinal profiles 36 and the transverse profiles 37 lie in a common horizontal plane of the support frame 12. On the horizontal legs 39 of the longitudinal profiles 36 are the flexible side strands 23 of the spring base thirteenth on. The horizontal legs 39 of the support frame 12 thus serve as a support and support of the side strands 23 of the spring base 13 and hold them in the horizontal plane of the support frame 12. The frontal cross struts 25 of the spring base 13 rest on the horizontal legs 39 of the cross sections 37. It is preferably provided to connect the transverse struts 25 on opposite end faces of the spring base 13 with the transverse profiles 37 of the support frame 12, for example, to screw. As a result, the lower spring 13 in the support frame 12, preferably kept taut in the longitudinal direction 15, so that due to the flexible side strands 23, the spring base 13 on the horizontal legs 39 of the longitudinal profiles 36 can not move. By elastic band-like elastic formation of the side strands 23, the lower spring 13 can be stretched in the longitudinal direction 15 to adapt to the length of the respective support frame 12th

The supported by the support frame 12 and attached thereto spring base 13 is placed as a unit on the bed frame 11 or inserted into the bed frame 11, so that the bed frame 11 surrounds the support frame 12 and held and supported spring base 13 thereof.

It is an alternative embodiment of the bed 10, not shown, conceivable in which only two longitudinal profiles 36 are used at the location of the support frame 12, which are connected to the end faces of the transverse thereto board-like crossbars 25 at the opposite ends of the spring base 13. Then form the longitudinal profiles and the associated cross braces 25 a stable frame, the horizontal leg 39 of the longitudinal profiles 36, the flexible side strands 23 support.

It is another embodiment conceivable in which the bed frame 11 serves as a support for the flexible spring base 13, so the support frame 12 and the longitudinal profiles 36 accounts. Then the flexible side strands 23 are on parts of the bed frame 11, in particular an upper edge thereof, on. The transverse struts 25 at the ends of the spring base 13 are connected to the bed frame 11 for the extended holding of the spring base 13. In this embodiment, the bed frame 11 serves as a support for the flexible side strands 23 and for the extended fixing of the spring base 13 by connecting the cross struts 25 of the spring base 13 with the bed frame eleventh

The Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of the spring base 13, with respect to in the Fig. 1 and 4 shown underspring 13 only differs by a partially different embodiment of the bearing means 40. Such parts of the bearing means 40, which correspond to the bearing means 21 are the same Reference numbers provided. In that regard, the previous description of the in the Fig. 1 to 4 shown bearing means 21 reference.

The spring base 13 can only have the bearing means 40. However, it is also conceivable that the spring base 13 has both bearing means 21 and bearing means 40.

The bearing means 40 differs from the bearing means 21 in that a smaller oval ring 41 is arranged in the oval ring 26. The parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bearing means 40 associated strips 16 extending longitudinal center axes of the two rings 26 and 41 lie on each other. As a result, the smaller ring 41 is inserted concentrically in the larger ring 26. The smaller ring 41 is detachably connected to the larger ring 26, namely the lock 27 thereof. For this purpose, a plate-like foot is arranged on the underside of the ring 41, which is held in a form-fitting manner between two L-shaped, elongate claws 43 on the lock 27. By inserting the foot 42 of the ring 41 between the jaws 43 in the longitudinal direction of the bar 16, the ring 41 is connected to the ring 26 of the bearing means 40. This releasable connection can be secured by releasable locking means (not shown).

By the smaller ring 41 in the larger ring 26 of the bearing means 40, the spring characteristic of the same is influenced. Initially, the bearing means 40 has a soft spring characteristic, namely, until the upper part of the larger ring 26 rests on top of the smaller inner ring 41. For further deflection of the bearing means 40, both rings 26 and 41 must be compressed together, whereby the bearing means 40 harder with increasing deflection. The spring characteristic is influenced by the size ratio of the outer ring 26 and the inner ring 41 and the wall thickness of a flat, rectangular cross-section inner ring 41. In the illustrated embodiment, the wall thickness of the inner ring 41 is greater than that of the outer ring 26. This is the inner ring 41 harder than the outer ring 26. The result is that when resting the outer ring 26 on the inner ring 41, the rigidity of the bearing means 40 increases significantly.

The Fig. 6 shows a further embodiment of the invention, which differs from the previously described embodiments by a differently designed bearing means 44. In principle, the bearing means 44 is formed like the bearing means 21. For the same parts, therefore, the same reference numerals are used again.

The bearing means 44 has inside the ring 26 a smaller oval stop piece 45. The longitudinal center axis of the stop piece 45 is located on the longitudinal center axis of the ring 26. The stopper piece 45 has two superimposed pockets 46, 47. The pockets 46, 47 are of identical design, namely, in the exemplary embodiment shown, have an approximately oval cross-section with a horizontal, elongate axis.

The stop piece 45 has at the bottom of a foot 48 which is formed corresponding to two parallel claws 49 on the lock 27 of the bearing means 44 and in the longitudinal direction of the bar 16 between the jaws 49 is slidable. The connection of the stop piece 45 with the ring 26 of the bearing means 44 is formed in principle as well as the bearing means 40th

In each pocket 46, 47, a filler 50, 51 can be inserted, in the longitudinal direction of the bar 16. By the filler pieces 50, 51, the hardness of the stopper piece 45 formed of flexible material is variable. If in the pockets 46, 47 no filler pieces 50, 51 are used, the stopper piece 45 is relatively soft. By a filler 50 or 51 in the corresponding pocket 46, 47, the hardness of the stopper piece 45 can be increased. An even greater hardness of the stop piece 45 is achieved when in both pockets 46, 47 patches 50, 51 are used. Accordingly, the flexibility of the bearing means 44 is adaptable to the needs. It is also conceivable, the filler pieces 50, 51 in the pockets 46 and 47 to rotate, whereby the height of the stop member 45 is increased to the concern at the top of the unloaded ring 26. In this case, the ring 26 is already at the initial compression supported by the stopper piece 45, so that the hardness of the bearing means 44 is increased from the beginning.

The Fig. 8 shows an embodiment of the invention, which in turn differs from the preceding embodiments by a differently designed bearing means 52. This bearing means 52 corresponds in principle to the Lagermittein 21 and 44, so that in turn the same reference numerals are used for the same parts.

When bearing means 52, a flexible stopper piece 53 is provided in the outer ring 26. The stop piece 53 has a substantially cylindrical in the unloaded state ring with a lower foot 54, which corresponds to two parallel claws 55 on the closure 30 of the ring 26, so that the stopper piece 53 with the foot 54 by insertion into the outer ring 26th positively between the jaws 55 is fixed. As a result, a releasable connection of the stop piece 53 with the lock 27 of the outer ring 26 of the bearing means 52 comes about.

The stop piece 53 has only a single pocket 56 with two superimposed and two adjacent bulges 57. In the pocket 56, a filler 58 is inserted with a substantially oval cross-section. As shown in the Fig. 8 the filler 58 can be inserted upright or transversely into the pocket 56. In the case of upright in the pocket 56 inserted filler 58 this lies in the superimposed bulges 57. However, the filler 58 is inserted flat in the pocket 56 relative position with the ends in the adjacent bulges 57. Depending on whether the filler 58 upright or lying flat in the pocket 56 of the stopper piece 53 is inserted, the flexible stopper piece 53 receives less or greater elasticity. Accordingly, the outer ring 26 comes immediately or after an initial deflection to rest on the stop piece. 53. Accordingly, by the relative arrangement of the filler 58 in the pocket 56 of the stop piece 53, the spring characteristic of the bearing means 52 can be changed to give the lower spring 13 harder or softer spring properties.

The Fig. 9 shows a bearing means 59 according to a further embodiment of the invention. Also, this bearing means 59 corresponds in principle to the bearing means 21, which is why the same reference numerals are used for the same parts.

The bearing means 59 has an elastically deformable bellows 60 in the outer ring 26. In the illustrated embodiment, the bellows 60 is fixedly disposed under the bearing shell 32 on the upper part of the ring 26. However, it is also conceivable to provide the bellows 60 with a foot corresponding to the claws 61 on the lock 27, so that it can be detachably connected to the bearing means 59 by insertion between the claws 61.

The bladder 60 is configured to initially allow resilient deformation of the ring 26 without deforming the bladder 60. Only after a certain deflection of the ring 26 of the bellows 60 is deformed, whereby the rigidity of the bearing means 59 is increased.

It is preferably provided to fill the bellows 60 with compressed air by means of a compressed air supply, not shown, and thereby to expand the bellows 60, as a result of which its spring properties are changed. The bellows 60 can be widened so far that it rests on the lock 27 when the ring 26 is unloaded and thus influences the spring characteristic of the bearing means 59 from the beginning. It is also conceivable to periodically inflate and relax the bladder 60, whereby the respective bar 16 is alternately moved up and down by the bellows 60. In this way, the spring base 13 can serve to stimulate the person lying on it.

In the figures, not shown embodiments of the invention provide it, the sub-suspension and / or its support means, in particular the support frame 12 to assign function modules. These may be separated from the support frame 12 or other support means and from the spring base 13. It is also conceivable, however, the functional modules in the suspension means, such. B. to integrate the support frame 12, and / or the spring base 13.

The functional modules are, for example, at least one joint extending transversely to the longitudinal direction 16 of the bed 10, which gives the support frame 12 a pivotable head part and / or foot part.

Above all, it is conceivable to form the functional modules as driven mechanisms for adjusting the suspension element, in particular of the support frame 12. These drives may be, for example, electric motor drives that pivot the head part and / or the foot part of the bed 10. The functional modules can also make other adjustments or movements on the bed 10, in particular of the support frame 12. The support means are preferably designed so that they allow any extension with desired function modules.

The 10 to 12 show an embodiment of the invention, which is characterized by the above-described embodiments by a special bearing means 64. Incidentally, the rest furniture corresponds to the rest furniture shown in the previous figures. In particular, the bearing means 64 as in the previously described embodiments of the invention on opposite ends of the strips 16, preferably spring strips, connected to flexible side strands 23. This can, for example, as in the storage means 21 through in the 10 to 12 Locks not shown 27 happen.

The bearing means 64 has a tubular base part formed in the illustrated embodiment rectangular cross-section. The base member 65 is substantially sized to be rigid. Transverse to the longitudinal direction of the strips 16 extending end faces of the tubular base part 65 are open.

In the tubular base part 65, a pendulum 66 is arranged. The pendulum 66 has two spaced-apart, strip-shaped pendulum body 67. The flat pendulum body 67 lie in a common, the longitudinal axis of the respective bar 16 transverse cutting plane which extends centrally through the tubular base member 65, and in the middle between the open end faces of the base member 65. By the arrangement of the two pendulum body 67 in a common plane together they form the only pendulum 66. The upper ends of both Pendulum bodies 67 are each connected to the tubular base part 65 of the bearing means 64 by a hinge. In the embodiment shown, the hinges are designed as film hinges 68 for the integral connection of the pendulum body 67 with the base part 65. The lower ends of the two pendulum bodies 67 are connected by a horizontal rod 69. In the illustrated embodiment, the connection is also made by hinges, preferably again by film hinges 68. It is also conceivable, the lower ends of the Pendelköprer 67 without hinges, so ungelenkig to connect to the rod 69.

Between the pendulum bodies 67, a tab 70 is provided, which lies in the same common plane on which the pendulum body 67 of the pendulum 66 are arranged. The tab 70 is integrally formed at the lower end, preferably rigidly connected to the center of the rod 69. The length of the tab 70 is dimensioned such that it emerges from the base part 65 through an opening 71 in the upper horizontal wall of the base part 65 and projects upwards relative thereto. The upper end of the tab 70 is connected to an intermediate piece 72. The intermediate piece 72 is pushed as an end piece on one end of the bar 16 and hereby preferably latched. The upper end of the tab 70 may be integrally and rigidly connected to the lower wall of the intermediate piece 72. It is also conceivable to connect an upper free end of the tab 70 with the intermediate piece 72 latching or optionally articulated, whereby the bearing means 64 and the intermediate piece 72 are formed in two parts.

A lower, horizontal wall of the rectangular tubular base part 65 of the bearing means 64 is also provided with an opening 73. This breakthrough 73 serves to receive a lock, with which the bearing means 64 is preferably secured to the respective side string 23 latching. The in the Fig. 1 to 12 not shown locking can be mounted latching in the opening 73.

The bearing means 64 shown here can be due to the arrangement of the two pendulum body 67 in a plane which lies between the open end faces of the base member 65, vibrations, in particular oscillations, the bar 16 in their longitudinal direction too. As a result, a person lying on the bed or other rest furniture is moved back and forth in a transverse direction. This pendulum movement is made possible by a free movement of the tab 70 extending therethrough. For this purpose, the opening 71 is dimensioned such that the tab 70 can move freely in it. If necessary, the opening 71 can also serve to limit the pendulum or oscillatory movements of the bar 16. Then, the opening 71 is dimensioned such that it keeps at least in the longitudinal direction of the strip 16 pendulum movements thereof relative to a fixed base part 65 of the bearing means 63 within predetermined limits.

Notwithstanding the illustrated embodiment of Fig. 1 to 12 It is also conceivable to provide the bearing means 64 with a plurality of pendulums 66 connected in parallel. Then the two pendulum bodies 67 of each pendulum 66 lie in a different plane, these planes running parallel to each other at a small distance. If two parallel pendulum 66 are provided, these together form a parallelogram, which causes the flap 70 connected to the pendulums 66 does not join the deflection of the pendulum body 67 and thus the tab 70 always maintains its preferably vertical orientation.

The Fig. 13 shows an embodiment of the invention, which differs from that of the 10 to 12 only differs in that there is an additional elastic spring means 74 between the bearing means 64 and the intermediate piece 72. The spring means 74 is formed in the illustrated embodiment as an elliptical ring with open ends on both sides. The open end faces of the ring lie in vertical planes that extend transversely to the longitudinal axis of the bar 16. The shorter axis of the electric spring means 74 is directed vertically, while the larger axis is horizontal.

At the bottom of the elliptical spring means 74, the tab 70 of the bearing means 64 is integrally attached. However, it is also conceivable to separate the tab 70 from the spring means 74 and to connect it preferably by latching means by suitable means. At the top, the spring means 74 on a bearing shell 75 with opposite locking projections 76. The bearing shell 75 and the locking projections 76 are used for releasable, clip-like connection of the spring means 74 with the intermediate piece 72 on the respective end of the spring bar sixteenth

The bearing means of the embodiments of the Fig. 10 to 13 is preferably formed in one piece from plastic. The individual components of the bearing means 64 are dimensioned so that they are substantially rigid. Only in the area of the film hinges 68 is sufficient elasticity given to allow a pendulum movement of the pendulum body 67. In the embodiment of 10 to 12 can also be the spacer 72 integrally connected to the tab 70 of the bearing means 64, although a separate embodiment is conceivable. In the embodiment of Fig. 13 Also, the bearing means 64 and the elastic spring means 67 may be integrally connected to each other. By appropriate dimensioning of the wall thickness of the spring means 74, the desired elasticity of the same, in particular only in the vertical direction, comes about.

It is another alternative embodiment of the invention conceivable in which the spring means 74 or the spring means 74 and the bearing means 64 at least one pendulum 66 is assigned.

The above-described different bearing means 21, 40, 44, 52, 59 and 64 may be associated with the spring base 13 in any combination. It is also conceivable to form the spring base 13 from the same bearing means 21, 40, 44, 52, 59 or 64.
