Die als Ausführungsbeispiel gewählte Beleuchtungsvorrichtung 1 besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem Gehäuse 2, welches ein Leuchtmittel 3 aufnimmt und über ein Winkelstück 4 innerhalb eines Hohlprofilpfostens 7 befestigt ist.The
Das Gehäuse 2 ist aus Kunststoff hergestellt. Es besteht aus einem Gehäuseboden 21, einem auf diesem angeordneten transparent ausgebildeten Mittelteil 22 sowie einen auf dem Mittelteil 22 angeordneten Deckel 24. In dem Deckel 24 ist zur Maximierung der Lichtleistung ein Kopfreflektor 25 angeordnet. Weiterhin nimmt das Mittelteil 22 einen Blendschutz 23 auf. Auf dem Gehäuseboden 21 ist innerhalb des Gehäuses 2 eine Aufnahme 31 zur Aufnahme eines Leuchtmittels 3 angeordnet. An seiner dem Hohlprofilpfosten 7 zugewandten Unterseite ist in den Gehäuseboden 21 eine umlaufende Nut 210 eingebracht, welche im Wesentlichen der Querschnittskontur des Hohlprofilpfostens 7 entspricht und in der eine Dichtung 211 eingebracht ist.The
Das Winkelstück 4 ist im Wesentlichen in Form eines rechtwinklig abgekanteten Stahlblechstreifens ausgebildet, wodurch ein erster Schenkel 41 sowie ein rechtwinklig zu diesem angeordneter zweiter Schenkel 42 gebildet ist. Die Länge des ersten Schenkels 41 entspricht im Wesentlichen dem Innenmaß der breiteren Wandung des rechtwinklig ausgebildeten Hohlprofilpfostens 7. Der zweite Schenkel 42 liegt im montierten Zustand an der Innenwandung des Hohlprofilpfostens 7 an. Zur Befestigung an dem Hohlprofilpfosten 7 sind in dem zweiten Schenkel 42 des Winkelstücks 4 Bohrungen 43 eingebracht, welches mit dem in dem Hohlprofilpfosten 7 vorgesehenen, durch Bohrungen 71 gebildeten Lochmuster korrespondiert. - Illumination device (1) for fences having at least one hollow-profile post (7), comprising a housing (2) which is at least partially transparent, for attaching a light source (3), a flanged section for installing in the hollow-profile post (7), where the housing (2) is formed in such a way that it fully covers the cross-section of the hollow-profile post (7), and where the flanged section has means for fixing it inside the hollow-profile post (7), where the flanged section is formed by an angled piece (4) with at least two legs (41, 42), the first (41) of which legs is attached to the housing (2), and the second (42) of which legs lies against the inner wall of the hollow-profile post (7) when the device is fixed in position, characterised in that an electronic control device (5) for operating the light source (3) is arranged on the second leg (42) of the angled piece (4).

- Device in accordance with any of the above claims, characterised in that the light source (3) is arranged within the housing (2), where the housing (2) can be joined to the angled piece (4) by means of a plug-in connection, by means of which contact can be established between the electronic control device (5) and the light source (3).
