How ever a lock may be robust and structurally complex, it never results impossible to attack, above all if the thief has the necessary time at his disposal to act and open it.
  • Such reinforcement systems are based on the use of a bar that can be lifted/lowered with rather complex manual systems. Such systems are not efficient since they imply very old and not much reliable manual lifting systems of the bar. Accordingly, apart from the uncomfort of the manual activation, such systems do not allow the use of heavy bars just because lifting them would result difficult, above all by old people.

In this way, when the bar is arranged into said hooks 3, it is placed substantially close to the door, producing a barrage to the opening of it. The hooks 3 are therefore fixed to the wall on the side of the direction of opening of the door.
  • Figure 2 shows in detail the winder 5 configured for winding/unwinding the tapes 10 in such a way as to lift/lower the bar 2 from/towards the support means 3. To that aim, the winder results arranged above the hooks 3 and, preferably, above the width of opening of the door or the window.
  • the opening of the door is not impeded by the presence of the winder hung to the wall above the door and with a width maybe greater than that of the width of the door itself.
  • the winder 5 comprises the rotating motor 6, which activates the rotating shaft 7, and containing an electronic central unit with a high-precision electronic limit switch system.
  • the shaft has connected on it two or more pulleys 8 (for example three) around which the two or more tapes 10, respectively, wind and unwind.

  • Figure 4 shows a section wherein the positioning of the bar with respect to the door or the window when placed into the hooks 3 is highlighted. It is therefore preferable that the hooks are such as to keep the bar in contact with the door for avoiding that shakes on the door during a burglary attempt cause the breakage of the hooks.
