Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for providing panels, in particular floor panels, in which a carrier material is provided, in which the carrier material is separated into panel form, in which a decoration is applied to the carrier material and in which the carrier material after the separation in panel form and before the finishing of the decor is stored in a warehouse.
  • panel-shaped floor elements are offered for a long time with a variety of different decors.
  • the customer can choose among many different colors, patterns and / or structures of decors according to his personal taste or given requirements.
  • the provision of the various decors causes high storage costs and high capital commitment.
  • WO 2010/055429 A2 discloses a method for the production of panels, wherein the panels are composed of a substrate and an upper layer with a printed decor, wherein the upper layer consists of at least two layers.
  • the present invention is based on the object to provide a method with which panels with individualized decors can be provided economically and promptly even in small or very short runs.
  • the carrier material is provided with a footfall sound insulation and / or a latent adhesive layer.
  • a decoration is understood to mean a job by which the visual and / or haptic impression of the carrier material is changed.
  • the decor may be formed in particular as a printed decor paper, as a color layer or as a structured layer.
  • the decorative paper can also be designed in a multi-layered manner and in particular have a seal, an abrasion-resistant layer, etc.
  • Completing the decoration is understood to be the process step in which the decoration is given its final shape. In a one-step decorative order, this is understood to mean an order step. If, on the other hand, the decoration is applied in several steps, completion means at least the last of these steps. In particular, the decorative application steps preceding the finishing can be carried out before and / or after the intermediate storage.
  • An intermediate storage in a warehouse is understood to mean that the carrier material is stored for storage purposes at a designated location.
  • the intermediate storage is to be distinguished, in particular, from a provision of an intermediate product prior to carrying out an immediately following process step, which is due to the process.
  • an intermediate storage is also to be distinguished from a rest step in a process which is carried out after a process step, for example for drying or for curing.
  • the intermediate storage is rather a storage of the carrier material for a period which does not depend on the method itself but on the receipt of an order.
  • the intermediate storage thus preferably ends only with the orderly removal of the carrier material from the warehouse.
  • Special decors are decors with a special, needs-adapted property understood.
  • decors come with a soft or non-slip surface, For example, for games, sports or work surfaces, into consideration.
  • the decors may also have a matte or gloss effect or a lotus blossom effect.
  • the decor may also have fluorescent properties, so that part of the decor glows in the dark or under UV illumination.
  • heat, light or touch-sensitive decors are conceivable, which change their visual appearance under the influence of heat, light or touch.
  • the decors can also achieve a movement or 3D effect, for example by the decorative surface has a lenticular lens structure and the decor has a lenticular print.
  • a first preferred embodiment of the method is characterized in that the decoration is applied to the carrier material in at least two decorative application steps, that in the first decorative application step at least one base decoration is applied to the carrier material, that the carrier material is stored in a warehouse after the first decorative application step, that the carrier material is removed from the storage and that at least one individual decoration is applied to the carrier material removed from the storage in the second decorative application step.
  • the complex production process of the carrier material with a basic decoration can be separated from the individualization of the decoration by the application of the individual decoration. It was recognized that a high degree of individualization of the decor alone by the application of the additional custom decor in the second Dekorrrells Colour is achieved, while the application of the basic decor in large quantities, for example by the methods known from the prior art, can be done.
  • the base decor may be applied to the support material before or after the carrier material is separated in panel form.
  • a ground decor is understood in particular a decor which has only a low degree of individualization and preferably serves mainly as a primer.
  • the basic decor can be applied in particular as a paint, varnish and / or film on the substrate.
  • An individual decoration is understood to mean a decoration which, in contrast, has a high degree of individualization, i. whose appearance can be strongly adapted to the individual specifications of a job.
  • the customization decor can partially or completely cover the basic decoration.
  • the basic decoration has no or only a few customization features, the number of different basic decorations can be kept low. In this way, the carrier material with the basic decor can be produced very economically in large quantities and stored at low cost.
  • the customization of the decoration by the application of the individual decor is carried out in particular according to need only at a later date. Since the carrier material then already has a base decoration, the application of the individual decoration can take place in a simpler process, preferably optimized for smaller runs.
  • the basic load-related properties of the panels are set by the basic decor, for example the abrasion resistance, a water and / or chemical resistance.
  • the complex process steps in the provision of the panels are shifted to the process part before the intermediate storage, so that the application of the individual decor can be done after the intermediate storage in a simple, faster and more cost-effective manner.
  • separating the carrier material in panel form is meant that the carrier material is divided by a separation process into one or more panel-shaped elements. This can be done in particular by cutting processes, such as milling or sawing, but also by non-cutting process, such as cutting, especially laser, ultrasonic or water jet cutting.
  • the support material is provided as a treated or untreated wood-based panel, in particular as an HDF, MDF or cork panel, as a plastic panel, for example made of polyvinyl chloride or polystyrene, or as a multilayer panel.
  • the carrier material can also be used as a wood material-rigid foam multilayer board, as a wood-plastic composite board, be designed as chip and / or fiber-containing plate or as a compact disk. These materials have been found to be particularly suitable for paneling.
  • a particularly flexible and economic individualization of the panel decorations is achieved by removing the support material from the bearing in an orderly quantity and by applying an order-specific decoration, in particular an individual decor according to the order, to the support material.
  • the order here means that the amount of the support material and / or the decor or custom decor is adapted to the specifications of an individual and specific contract.
  • Such an order may be issued, for example, by a dealer or customer requesting the subsequent delivery of panels of a particular decor that are out of stock or out of stock.
  • a dealer or customer requesting the subsequent delivery of panels of a particular decor that are out of stock or out of stock.
  • the Nachrierles of panels of a particular decor can be guaranteed almost unlimited.
  • panels can be provided with particularly complex, expensive or individual decor in the order requested quantity, without any overproduction must be stored or destroyed. This allows a more cost-effective production and provision of the panels.
  • the order includes the pictorial representation of the decor or the individual decor.
  • the degree of individuality of the panels is further increased, since the customer can not only possibly select from a number of predetermined decors, but can directly specify the desired pictorial design of the decor.
  • the decor has individual patterns, graphic representations, pictures, lettering, etc.
  • the decor can be graphically selected and edited by a suitable computer program.
  • individual photos or lettering can be included.
  • the compilation of an individual decoration by means of a computer program preferably on a computer in the premises of a dealer or on a computer of the customer, for example via the Internet, take place.
  • the carrier material is separated before or after the intermediate storage in panel form.
  • the separation before the intermediate storage according to the present invention has the advantage that the carrier material to be stored has smaller dimensions and thus can be stored more easily. Furthermore, the number of process steps is reduced after the intermediate storage, so that a faster provision of individualized panels and thus shorter delivery times can be achieved.
  • the separation of the carrier material after the intermediate storage is an independent invention and has the advantage, however, that no separate storage of carrier materials of different sizes is required. Furthermore, such is one more flexible, order-specific adaptation of the panel size and the panel shape possible.
  • An increased individualization of the panels can be achieved in that the carrier material is separated into an order-appropriate panel shape, in particular after removal from the warehouse and before or after the application of the decor or the individual decor.
  • the panels can be customized not only on the decor selection, but also on the panel shape.
  • the dimensions dictate the dimensions of the panels and / or the shape of the panels.
  • different dimensions and / or shapes for the individual panels can be specified, so that the carrier material is divided into different types of panel forms.
  • the carrier material is divided into polygons or irregular shapes.
  • the panel forms are preferably provided so that a substantially closed surface can be achieved by a planned arrangement of the panels.
  • the panel-shaped carrier material is profiled in a further preferred embodiment before or after the intermediate storage. Under the profiling is understood that the panel-shaped carrier material is provided at the side edges with serving as connecting means profiles.
  • the profiles may be, for example, possibly to be glued tongue and groove profiles, preferably mechanical interlocking profiles such as click or angle profiles or positive locking profiles such as dovetail profiles. It can also be connecting means with separate elements, For example, tongue and groove connections are provided with a separate spring.
  • the profiling can take place before or after the intermediate storage. With a profiling before the intermediate storage shorten the process length after the interim storage and thus the delivery times. In the case of a profiling after the intermediate storage, on the other hand, a more individual profiling, in particular a profiling adapted to an order, can take place.
  • the profiling can be carried out in particular before or after the application of a basic decoration on the carrier material.
  • a monochrome base decoration is applied to the carrier material as a base decoration. It has been shown that a monochrome basic decor only slightly impairs or limits the possibilities of customization by the individual decor. In particular bright colors with low color saturation, such as light beige, light gray or light brown are considered as colors.
  • a carrier material with basic decoration is preferably selected, in which the color of the basic decor is adapted to the individual decor. In this way, a less complex custom decor can be used.
  • the flexibility of the method is increased by applying the base decoration and the individual decoration to different locations, in particular in different establishments.
  • the base decor may be applied to the manufacturer of the substrates and the custom decor at an intermediate or retailer.
  • a retailer for example, DIY stores or retailers come into question.
  • the decor in particular the individual decor, is applied to the carrier material by pressing the carrier material with a decorative paper impregnated with synthetic resin and / or with an overlay.

  • the decor can then be fixed by the adhesive on the substrate.
  • the adhesive can be applied in particular to the basic decor or together with the basic decor.
  • the individual decor can be fixed by the adhesive on the substrate.
  • the adhesive has a peelable film, which can be removed before applying the decor or the custom decor. In this way, premature gluing or soiling of the adhesive can be prevented.
  • the storage and logistics costs are further reduced in a further preferred embodiment of the method in that the decor, in particular the individual decor, by direct printing, in particular with a droplet jet printer, is applied to the carrier material.
  • the decor in particular the individual decor
  • direct printing in particular with a droplet jet printer
  • the carrier material is applied to the carrier material.
  • the decor can be set directly when printing on the substrate, without any additional decorative paper must be kept and printed.
  • the individual decor is applied by direct printing on a base decoration applied as a base coat.
  • the carrier material can be sealed after application of the decor. This can preferably be achieved by pressing an overlay with the carrier material comprising the decoration and optionally take place under the decor arranged impregnate layer.
  • the sealing can also be carried out by applying a sealing varnish or a sealing film.
  • a factory-applied adhesive layer is provided on the carrier material or on the decor, with which the sealing film is fixed.
  • the support material taken from the bearing is machined by machining or by embossing, in particular provided with a joint or with a structured surface.
  • the panel edges can be bevelled.
  • the surface of the carrier material is provided with a depth structure adapted to the decor, for example a woodgrain structure.
  • the carrier material is preferably machined to order or machined by embossing.
  • the application may also contain a specification for the surface structure, preferably as a depth profile.
  • the carrier material can be provided in a further embodiment of the method with a profile seal. This is preferably done before the intermediate storage, since in this way the process part can be shortened to the intermediate storage and thus the delivery times.
  • the profile seal can also after the intermediate storage on the carrier material, preferably be applied according to the order, since in this way a higher degree of individualization of the panels can be achieved.
  • the panel-shaped carrier material is made up with decor according to the order.
  • the belonging to a job panels are preferably collected and packaged for example in boxes or foil. In this way it is ensured that the related panels are completely transported to the client or to the recipient.
  • a reduction in the cost of a job is achieved in a further embodiment of the method in that the panel-shaped substrate is decorated with decor together with other conventional panels.
  • Conventional panels are understood to be panels which are produced not by the method according to the invention but in particular by a prior art production method. It has been found that often only individual panels need to be customized to achieve an orderly overall decor. Therefore, these more complex, individualized panels can be advantageously combined with conventional, cheaper panels.
  • An overall decoration is understood to mean the order-specific optical and structural appearance of the totality of the installed panels.

  • click profiles are conceivable.
  • the connecting means can be produced, for example, by machining the carrier material. It is also conceivable that at least a part of the connecting means are provided as separate connection means. This can be advantageous if the separation of the carrier material in panel form takes place after the second decorative application step, since the overall decor of the planned laid panels then corresponds to the decoration applied to the carrier material, without dislocations resulting from the provision of the connecting means.

  • a carrier material 6 is provided, to which a base decoration 14 is applied in the second method step 64 with a first decorative application step 13.
  • the carrier material 6 with base decoration 14 is then in the third method step 66 in a bearing 19th stored.
  • the bearing 19 is an orderly amount of support material 6 removed and on the substrate 6, an individual decor 25 is applied in the fourth step 68 with a second decorative application step 24.
  • the basic decor 14 and the individual decor together form the decor 26.
  • the decor 26 is thus completed by the fourth method step 22.
  • the carrier material 6 is then separated in panel form.
  • the panels 10 can then be made up according to the order in a sixth method step 72.
  • the method 60 is particularly suitable for overall designs having structures that span more than one panel.
  • the separation after application of the custom decoration 25 ensures that the scheduled arrangement of the panels 10 results in the overall decoration.
  • the carrier material 6 can in particular be separated so that the position of the joints between the panels 10 are offset from each other, so that during later assembly of the panels cross joints are avoided.
