Definitions
- the invention relates to an insulator, in particular for a pantograph of a rail vehicle.
- Such insulators are installed in the roof area of a rail vehicle and serve for isolated support.
- the insulator must pass high mechanical alternating loads.
- the bending stresses induced by the pantograph must be included.
- the insulator must have sufficient electrical resistance to prevent breakdown of high voltages, such as those caused by a lightning strike.
- Known long-rod insulators in high-voltage overhead lines generally have a solid core made of glass fiber reinforced plastic and a shield made of silicone.
- composite insulators have been used on the roof of rail vehicles for years for reasons of weight saving according to this principle.
- a major disadvantage of these insulators is that these insulators are not mechanically dimensionally stable, especially at high speeds. To fulfill the mechanical properties, the insulators are therefore usually made solid.
- the document " DE 690 19 313 T2 "discloses an insulator according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- insulators made of epoxy resin castings or of porcelain are known from the prior art. These components have a very high dead weight, which is undesirable especially in the head region of a rail vehicle.
- an insulator on a head and a foot part, which are electrically insulated from each other and each having a connecting piece.
- the current collector can be connected to the connection piece of the head section.
- the foot part serves for connection to the rail vehicle.
- Head and foot are connected to each other by means of a trained as a hollow profile support member.
- the distance between the head and the foot part is covered on the outside of the support member by means of an insulating jacket.
- the support member may be manufactured as a low weight component while having sufficient stability.
- hollow profiles have a high resistance to bending, so that they are optimally suited for the present application.
- the insulating jacket completes the insulator and guarantees sufficient dielectric strength to meet the electrical requirements.
- the support member consists of a glass fiber reinforced plastic. This material is characterized by a low weight and a very high mechanical stability.
- the support member is formed as a pipe section section.
- the support member regardless of the loading direction, it always has the same equatorial moment of resistance to bending in the cross-sectional plane. It can thus reliably absorb the changing stresses during railway operation.
- a conceivable alternative of the invention is such that the head part has a lug which comprises the support part on its outer circumference.
- the approach can be tightly connected to the support member in the region of the grip, so that an electrical tightness can be produced.
- the inner cross section of the approach is adapted to the outer cross section of the support member adapted in the connection region, so that here an air-tight connection can be produced. This air-tightness guarantees that no harmful, due to current flow erosion can occur during operation.
- a further preferred embodiment variant of the invention is the shape that the foot part has a support portion which supports the supporting part transversely to the longitudinal extension of a form-fitting manner. This form-fitting guaranteed in a simple way across the main load direction, a secure fixation between the support member and footboard.
- the support section additionally catches the support part in the area in which the highest bending stress occurs during operation. In this way, a strength-optimized design of the insulator is achieved.
- Similar to the head part and the support portion may include the support member on the outer periphery.
- the dimensional design of support section and support member may be such that again an electrical and airtight connection can be produced.
- a preferred embodiment of an insulator is such that the support member in the approach of the head part and / or in the support portion of the foot part cohesively fixed, in particular glued.
- the material bond (the bond) guarantees airtightness in the connection area between the supporting part and the head / foot part.
- the cohesive connection in this area is a particularly suitable connection method, because it is charged here on thrust, which is the preferred load variant for cohesive connections.
- a material-optimized transition between the support member and the head and the foot is possible via the cohesive connection, because on the choice of material of the cohesive connection, an adaptation of the contact resistance between the two components can be achieved.
- An insulator according to the invention may be characterized in that the supporting part is supported by means of an insulating piece at the end face relative to the head and / or foot part. In this way, an additional isolation is achieved, which increases the lay length.
- the insulating piece should be designed so that the lay length through the support member is longer than the lay length over the insulating jacket. Then a current dissipation over the insulating jacket is guaranteed.
- the insulating piece may preferably consist of a silicone material or EPDM, which has high resistance properties.
- silicone material is flexible, so that it seals the all-round open surface of the support profile airtight all round and thus guarantees the electrical resistance.
- the insulating jacket consists of cast resin.
- a casting resin system based on epoxy resin or optionally silicone may be used, casting resin is particularly good. Has properties in terms of dimensional stability at high speeds.
- the casting resin can be poured onto the supporting part and, if necessary, the head or foot part.
- airtight seals are produced, which guarantee the fatigue strength of the insulator (see above for erosion).
- the infused insulating jacket forms a liquid-tight seal, so that penetration of moisture into the intermediate regions between the insulator jacket and support or between insulator jacket and head / foot part is prevented.
- the insulating jacket is sealed relative to the head and / or foot part by means of a sealing element.
- the insulator has an upper head part 30 and a lower foot part 20.
- an insulator jacket 10 is arranged, which has a head section 11 and a foot section 13.
- head and foot section 11, 13 'umbrellas 12 are arranged, which serve to increase the electrical Kriechmother.
- FIG. 2 shows the insulator in vertical section.
- the head part 30 and the foot part 20 by means of a support member 40 are spaced from each other.
- the support member 40 consists mainly of a deflected profile section on GRP material.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 let recognize an assembly consisting of foot 20, head 30 and support member 40 in more detail.
- the support member 40 has an upper and a lower connecting portion 41, 42.
- the upper connecting portion 41 serves for coupling the head part 30, the lower connecting portion 42 serves for coupling the foot part 20.
- the support part 40 encloses an inner space 43 with a circular cross section.
- the head part 30 has a connection piece 31 into which a fastening receptacle 32 is inserted.
- the connector 31 terminates in a support flange 33, which is aligned radially to the central longitudinal axis of the mounting receptacle 32.
- the pantograph of a rail vehicle can be coupled. The pantograph is then connected via the attachment receptacle 32 with the insulator.
- the head part 30 has a circumferential groove, which can receive an O-ring as a seal receptacle 34.
- the head part 30 carries a cylindrical projection 35 which an inner receptacle for the support member 40 encloses.
- the inner cross section of the projection 35 is adapted to the outer cross section of the support member 40.
- the foot part 20 in turn has a connection piece 21, which is provided with a flat footprint 22.
- the contact surface 22 is perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis of the support member 40.
- the connecting piece 21 is followed by a transition portion 24, a support portion 25 at.
- the support portion 25 encloses an inner receptacle, in which the support member 40 is inserted.
- the inner receptacle is adapted in its cross section to the outer geometry of the support member 40.
- an insulating piece 50 in the form of a disc consisting of silicone material or EPDM.
- a thin layer of liquid silicone material is brushed between the insulating piece 50 and the facing bottom surface in the foot part 20 in order to guarantee an air-tight connection between insulating piece 50 and foot part 20.
- the support member 40 is coated on its outer periphery in the region of its insert length in the inner receptacle of the support portion 25 with an adhesive.
- the metal foot part 20 is dimensionally dimensioned so that a press fit between the support member 40 and support portion 25 is present. For this reason, the foot part 20 is heated prior to assembly. It then expands, so that the support member 40 can be joined largely powerless in the support section 25. Then, the support member 40 connects via the adhesive layer form-fitting manner with the foot part 20.

Description

- in Seitenansicht einen Isolator;
- Figur 2
Figur 1 in Seitenansicht; - Figur 4
