Abstract
Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, des données de position externes transmises à un véhicule par des dispositifs de l'infrastructure ou des véhicules voisins sont utilisées pour valider ou améliorer la position mesurée du véhicule. Ces données peuvent également être utilisées pour calculer la position propre du véhicule sans devoir pour cela prévoir un récepteur de navigation satellite dans le véhicule. Une évaluation statistique correspondante permet d'améliorer encore la détermination de position.
