Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeug, umfassend eine Karosserie (1), eine Photovoltaikeinheit mit einem Solarmodul (4), und eine Stelleinheit, mittels derer das Solarmodul (4) relativ zu der einfallenden Strahlung einstellbar ist. Die Aufgabe, für das eingangs genannte Kraftfahrzeug die Ausnutzung der einfallenden Sonneneinstrahlung zu verbessern, wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die Stelleinheit ein Nachführmodul umfasst, wobei das Nachführmodul ein automatisches Nachführen des Solarmoduls (4) relativ zu der einfallenden Strahlung ermöglicht.

Beschreibung
Gebiet der Erfindung
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeug nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Für Kraftfahrzeuge ist bekannt, die Sonneneinstrahlung mittels einer Photo- voltaikeinheit in elektrische Energie umzuwandeln, und die elektrische Energie entweder zum Antrieb einer bedienbaren Einheit des Kraftfahrzeugs, beispielsweise einer Lüfteranlage, oder zum Antrieb des Kraftfahrzeuges selbst auszunutzen. Insbesondere sind Kraftfahrzeuge mit einem Hybrid- Antrieb bekannt, die sowohl mittels elektrischer Energie als auch mittels durch Verbrennung von Kraftstoffen angetrieben werden können.
Bei der Umwandlung der Sonneneinstrahlung mittels einer Photovoltaikein- heit erweist sich als schwierig, dass die die Sonneneinstrahlung während des Tagesverlaufs ihre Richtung ändert, zumal Kraftfahrzeuge während ei- nes Tages unterschiedliche Ausrichtungen relativ zu der einfallenden Sonneneinstrahlung einnehmen können, beispielsweise, wenn das Kraftfahrzeug während des Tages an verschiedenen Orten abgestellt wird.
Abschätzungen zeigen, dass eine systematische Nachführung der Photovol- taikeinheit zu der einfallenden Sonnenstrahlung während des Tagesverlaufs die Energieausbeute in einem Jahr um bis zu 40 % erhöhen kann. Ein Kraftfahrzeug, dessen Antriebsenergie ausschließlich mit aus der Sonneneinstrahlung gewonnener elektrischer Energie gespeist ist, könnte die zu- rücklegbare Wegstrecke von ca. 10 bis 15 km auf über ca. 20 km erhöhen, wobei eine ausnutzbare Fläche für das Solarmodul der Photovoltaikeinheit von ca. 1 m2 angenommen wird.
DE 203 20 360 U1 beschreibt ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Sicherungslüf- tungsanlage, die mittels einer Photovoltaikeinheit mit mehreren Solarmodulen gespeist ist. Um unter allen möglichen Einfallsbedingungen der Sonneneinstrahlung soviel elektrische Energie wie möglich zu erzeugen, sind mehrere Solarmodule vorgesehen, die hinsichtlich Anzahl, Größe und Anordnung im Inneren der Karosserie so angeordnet sind, dass unter allen möglichen Einfallsbedingungen eine ausreichende elektrische Energie erzeugt wird. Insbesondere ist der Innenraum der Karosserie mit mehreren Solarmodulen bedeckt, die jeweils eine unterschiedliche Orientierung hinsichtlich der möglichen Sonneneinstrahlung aufweisen. Hierbei liefern nur einige der Solarmodule tatsächlich elektrische Energie, während andere kaum Energie Ne- fern können, da deren Ausrichtung relativ zu der momentanen Sonneneinstrahlung ungünstig ist. Diese Anordnung bewirkt nur eine geringe Energieausbeute, die als Antrieb für das Kraftfahrzeug nicht ausreicht.
DE 103 48 118 A1 beschreibt ein Karosserieteil für ein Kraftfahrzeug, auf das eine Solarzelle aus einem organischen Material aufgebracht ist, die mit einer Schutzschicht überzogen ist. Wird die gesamte Außenfläche der Karosserie mit einer derartigen Beschichtung überzogen, hängt die Energie- ausbeute der Photovoltaikeinheit von der Formgebung der Karosserie ab und ist für verschiedene Fahrzeugtypen unterschiedlich. Weiter kann die Energieausbeute sehr gering werden, wenn die Sonneneinstrahlung im wesentlichen horizontal auf die Vorder- oder Rückseite der Karosserie auftrifft, beispielsweise dann, wenn bei tiefstehender Sonne das Kraftfahrzeug in Richtung der Sonne geparkt ist.
DE 20 2006 008 818 U1 beschreibt ein Kraftfahrzeug, auf dessen Karosserie auf dem Dach eine abnehmbare Photovoltaikanlage mit einem Solarmodul angeordnet ist. Das Solarmodul ist von einem Bediener manuell in Richtung der Sonneneinstrahlung auszurichten. Hierzu ist an der Kante des Solarmoduls eine Achse vorgesehen, um die das Solarmodul in Richtung der Sonneneinstrahlung geschwenkt wird; weiter ist ein Drehteller vorgesehen, um das Solarmodul in die Richtung der Sonneneinstrahlung zu drehen. Der Be- diener muss die optimale Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls in Bezug auf die momentane Sonneneinstrahlung im wesentlichen selbständig ermitteln. Ist die optimale Ausrichtung gefunden, wird das Solarmodul mittels Knebelschrauben festgestellt. Nachteilig ist, dass die einmal aufgefundene optimale Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls sich im Verlauf des Tages ändert, so dass der Bediener, jeweils manuell, das Solarmodul immer wieder neu ausrichten muss. Nachteilig ist ferner, dass das Solarmodul von dem Dach des Kraftfahrzeuges abgenommen werden muss, um zu der Sonneneinstrahlung ausgerichtet zu werden, wobei eine Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls auf dem Dach des Kraftfahrzeuges für den Bediener sehr umständlich ist. Ungünstig ist weiter, dass der Bediener nur grob abschätzen kann, wann das Solarmodul hinsichtlich der momentanen Sonneneinstrahlung ausgerichtet ist.
Aufgabe der Erfindung
Es ist die Aufgabe der Erfindung, für das eingangs genannte Kraftfahrzeug die Ausnutzung der einfallenden Sonneneinstrahlung zu verbessern. Zusammenfassung der Erfindung
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Das ein automatisches Nachführen des Solarmoduls relativ zu der einfallenden Strahlung ermöglichende Nachführmodul der Stelleinheit stellt sicher, dass während des Tagesverlaufs das Solarmodul jederzeit eine optimale Stellung relativ zu der Sonneneinstrahlrichtung aufweist. Ein Zutun eines Bedieners ist hier nicht erforderlich. Das Solarmodul kann an der Karosserie verbleiben und ist beweglich an der Karosserie aufgenommen. Insbesondere kann das Solarmodul der Photovoltaikeinheit selbständig betätigt werden, beispielsweise wenn automatisch erkannt wird, dass das Kraftfahrzeug abgestellt und der Motor ausgestellt ist.
Die stetige Nachführung des Solarmoduls mit der Sonne während des Tages über das Jahr ermöglicht eine Steigerung der Ausbeute um bis zu 40 %, und zwar, ohne dass der Bediener des Kraftfahrzeuges einen Aufwand für die Ausrichtung bzw. Nachführung des Solarmoduls erbringen muss.
Vorzugsweise ist vorgesehen, dass die Stelleinheit mindestens drei, insbesondere vier, längenveränderliche Aktuatoren umfasst, die von einem Motor angetrieben werden, wobei der Motor von der Stelleinheit gesteuert ist. Die im wesentlichen lineare Bewegung der mindestens drei, vorzugsweise vier, längenveränderlichen Aktuatoren lässt sich einfach ansteuern und regeln. Ist das Solarmodul abgelegt, können die Aktuatoren im wesentlichen parallel zu der Karosserie ausgerichtet sein und an dem Solarmodul anliegen. Wird das Solarmodul aufgerichtet bzw. nachgeführt, richten sich die Aktuatoren auf, so dass sich eine schnelle Nachführbarkeit des Solarmoduls ergibt und das Solarmodul mit den Aktuatoren an der Karosserie anliegend abgelegt werden kann, wenn das Kraftfahrzeug fährt, so dass das Solarmodul keinen wesentlich erhöhten Strömungswiderstand bietet. Vorzugsweise ist hinsichtlich der Ausgestaltung der Aktuatoren vorgesehen, dass mindestens einer der Aktuatoren einen hydraulischen oder pneumatischen Zylindertrieb umfasst. Alternativ oder ergänzend zu einem hydraulischen oder pneumatischen Zylindertrieb bei mindestens einem der Aktuato- ren ist vorzugsweise vorgesehen, dass mindestens einer der Aktuatoren einen Spindeltrieb, insbesondere einen Kugelspindelantrieb oder einen Gewindeantrieb, umfasst.
Besonders bevorzugt ist, dass vier Aktuatoren vorgesehen sind, deren jedem ein Antriebsmotor zugeordnet ist, wobei der jeweilige Aktuator einen Kugelspindelantrieb aufweist.
Vorzugsweise ist vorgesehen, dass die Stelleinheit eine Ortserfassungseinheit umfasst, die ermittelt, an welcher geographischen Position die Karosse- rie steht. Die Ortserfassungseinheit stellt sicher, dass bei der erstmaligen Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls dieses eine Stellung einnimmt, die eine maximale Energieausbeute aus der Sonnenstrahlung ermöglicht. Die geographische Stelle des Kraftfahrzeuges, beispielsweise eine Angabe über den Längen- und den Breitengrad, an dem das Kraftfahrzeug steht, ist aus der Steu- erung des Kraftfahrzeuges, beispielsweise über GPS, erhältlich. Weiter ist eine Neigung des Kraftfahrzeuges relativ zu einer Horizontalen ebenfalls aus der Steuerung des Kraftfahrzeuges abrufbar. Zusätzlich ist die Ausrichtung des Kraftfahrzeuges relativ zu einer festen Achse erforderlich, beispielweise die Ausrichtung der Längsachse nach Norden. Schließlich ist eine Angabe über die Uhrzeit, an der der Solarmodul ausgerichtet wird, aus der Zeitfunktion der Steuerung des Kraftfahrzeuges zu beziehen. Mit den Angaben über die geographische Stelle, der Neigung und der Uhrzeit lässt sich in der Ortserfassungseinheit berechnen, aus welcher Richtung die Sonnenstrahlung kommt und wie das Solarmodul optimal in Richtung der einfallenden Son- nenstrahlung ausgerichtet wird. Nach der erstmaligen Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls aufgrund der Berechnung der Ortserfassungseinheit mittels der Steuereinheit übernimmt das Nachführmodul die weitere Nachführung des Solarmoduls. Die Ortserfassungseinheit kann weiter die Ergebnisse eines Sensors auswertet, der erfasst, ob tatsächlich aus der in der Ortserfassungseinheit berechneten Richtung eine maximale Strahlungsleistung kommt, oder ob aus einer von der berechneten Richtung eine größere Strahlungs- leistung erhältlich ist. Hierbei kann dem Umstand Rechnung getragen werden, dass das Kraftfahrzeug gerade so positioniert ist, dass die Strahlung aus der berechneten Richtung beispielsweise abgeschattet ist, so dass eine höhere Strahlungsleistung aus einer anderen, von der berechneten Richtung abweichenden Richtung zu beziehen ist, wobei die Ortserfassungseinheit dann die Steuereinheit so anspricht, dass das Solarmodul in diese andere Richtung ausgerichtet wird. Im weiteren Verlauf der Nachführung wertet dann die Nachführeinheit das Ergebnis des Sensors dahingehend aus, aus welcher Richtung die maximale Strahlungsleistung der Sonneneinstrahlung kommt.
Weiter Vorteile und Merkmale ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung eines Ausführungsbeispiels sowie aus den abhängigen Ansprüchen.
Die Erfindung wird im folgenden unter Bezugnahme auf die anliegenden Zeichnungen näher beschrieben und erläutert.
Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnungen
Fig. 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Draufsicht auf ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Kraftfahrzeugs,
Fig. 2 zeigt eine perspektivische Ansicht auf ein Solarmodul einer Photovoltaikeinheit, die in dem Kraftfahrzeug aus Fig. 1 vorgesehen ist, Fig. 3 zeigt eine perspektivische Seitenansicht des Kraftfahrzeugs aus Fig. 1 in einer ersten Stellung des Solarmoduls zu einem ersten Zeitpunkt, und
Fig. 4 zeigt eine perspektivische Seitenansicht des Kraftfahrzeugs aus Fig. 1 und Fig. 3 in einer zweiten Stellung des Solarmoduls zu einem zweiten Zeitpunkt.
Detaillierte Beschreibung der Zeichnung
Fig. 1 zeigt ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Karosserie 1 , die ein Dach 2 aufweist, auf dessen nach außen weisender Außenseite 3 ein Solarmodul 4 angeordnet ist, wobei das Solarmodul 4 mehrere untereinander verbundenen Teilmodulen 5 umfasst.
Das Solarmodul 4 ist Bestandteil einer nicht weiter dargestellten Photovoltaikeinheit und wandelt auf die Teilmodule 5 einfallende Strahlungsenergie, insbesondere Sonnenstrahlung, in elektrische Energie um. Die Photovoltaikeinheit sammelt die von dem Solarmodul 4 bereitgestellte elektrische Energie und speist diese in die Energieversorgung des Kraftfahrzeugs ein.
Das Kraftfahrzeug ist mit einem Hybridantrieb ausgestattet und sowohl mittels elektrischer Energie als auch mittels aus der Verbrennung von Kraftstoffen gewonnener Energie antreibbar. Die elektrische Energie des Hybridantriebs wird dabei von der Photovoltaikeinheit mit dem Solarmodul 4 bereitgestellt.
In der Darstellung von Fig. 1 liegt das Solarmodul 4 im wesentlichen bündig mit der angrenzenden Außenseite 3 des Dachs 4 an, so dass bei der Fahrt des Kraftfahrzeugs bzw. bei starken Wind das Solarmodul 4 den Strömungswiderstand der Karosserie 1 des Kraftfahrzeugs nicht wesentlich beeinflusst.
Fig. 2 zeigt das Solarmodul 4 in einer Stellung, die es in einer geparkten Stellung des Kraftfahrzeuges einnehmen kann.
Das Solarmodul 4 ist in einer Aufnahme 6 innerhalb einer Vertiefung 7 angeordnet, so dass das in der Vertiefung 7 abgelegte Solarmodul 4 nicht über die angrenzende Fläche der Aufnahme 6 übersteht. Die Aufnahme 6 ist an dem Dach 2 der Karosserie 1 fest, allerdings mittels der weiter unten beschriebenen Aktuatoren bezüglich des Dachs 2 beweglich angeordnet.
Das Solarmodul 4 ist mittels vier Aktuatoren bezüglich der Aufnahme 6 und damit bezüglich des Dachs 2 beweglich. Der erste Aktuator 8 und der zweite Aktuator 9 sind an einer ersten kurzen Seitenkante der Vertiefung 7 angeordnet. Der dritte Aktuator 10 und der vierte Aktuator 11 (Fig. 3) sind an einer zweiten, der ersten kurzen Seitenkante gegenüberliegenden Seitenkante der Vertiefung 7 angeordnet. Die Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 sind jeweils von einem Motor angetrieben längenverstellbar ausgebildet. Die Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 sind gleichartig ausgebildet, wobei der jeweilige Motor als Kugelgewindetrieb ausgestaltet ist. Die Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 sind an der Aufnahme 6 gelenkig, beispielsweise mittels jeweils eines Kugelgelenks, an der Aufnahme 6 im Bereich der Vertiefung 7 gelagert. Im Bereich des Solarmoduls 4 ist jeder der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 ebenfalls mittels einer Kugelgelenks angelenkt.
Die Längenveränderung der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 wird von einer Stelleinheit bewirkt, die die jeweiligen Motoren der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 ansteuert. In der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Stellung des Solarmoduls 4 sind die ersten und zweiten Aktuatoren 8, 9 kürzer als die dritten und vierten Aktuatoren 10, 11 , so dass das Solarmodul 4 nach vorne um eine Querachse gekippt ist. Werden die Motoren der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 stromlos gestellt, behalten die Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 ihre Stellung bei, da der Kugelgewindetrieb selbsthemmend ausgestaltet ist.
In der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Stellung des Solarmoduls 4 liegen die Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 jeweils seitlich an dem Solarmodul 4 in der Vertiefung 7 der Aufnahme 6 an.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Stellung, bei der das Solarmodul 4 um dessen Querachse gekippt ist; hierzu ist der dritte Aktuator 10 und der vierte Aktuator 11 ausgefahren, während der erste Aktuator 8 und der zweite Aktuator 9 vollständig eingefahren ist. Die dargestellte Stellung des Solarmoduls 4 entspricht einer Einfallsrichtung der Sonneneinstrahlung, die annährend in Fahrtrichtung unter einem Winkel von ca. 45° und damit senkrecht auf die Fläche des Solarmoduls 4 auftrifft.
Fig. 4 zeigt eine Stellung des Solarmoduls 4, bei dem dieses sowohl um seine Querachse als auch um eine Längsachse gekippt ist. Jeder der vier Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 ist um einen jeweils anderen Betrag ausgefahren.
Das Ausfahren der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 aus der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Stellung sowie die Nachführung der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 während des Tagesverlaufs wird durch ein Nachführmodul gesteuert, das Bestandteil der Stelleinheit für das Solarmodul 4 ist. Das Nachführmodul umfasst dabei eine Ortserfassungseinheit, die die erstmalige Ausrichtung des Solarmoduls 4 relativ zu der Einfallsrichtung der Sonnenstrahlung ermöglicht.
Hierzu berechnet die Ortserfassungseinheit aus der Angabe der geographischen Position des Kraftfahrzeugs, dessen Neigung relativ zu einer Horizontalen, der Stellung der Längsachse des Kraftfahrzeuges relativ zu einer vorgegebenen Richtung, beispielsweise nach Norden, sowie der Uhrzeit die theoretische Position der Sonne. Ausgehend von der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Stellung, die das Solarmodul 4 bei dem erstmaligen Parken des Kraftfahrzeugs einnimmt, spricht die Ortserfassungseinheit die Stelleinheit derart an, dass das Solarmodul 4 die in Fig. 3 dargestellte Stellung einnimmt. Dazu steuert die Stelleinheit jeden der vier Motoren der Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 einzeln so an, dass das Solarmodul 4 im wesentlichen senkrecht zu der durch die einfallende Sonnenstrahlung definierten Richtung ausgerichtet ist.
Im weiteren Verlauf der Zeit übernimmt das Nachführmodul der Stelleinheit die Nachführung des Solarmoduls; hierzu sorgt das Nachführmodul dafür, dass die Stelleinheit in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen oder auch kontinuierlich jeden der vier Motoren der vier Aktuatoren 8, 9, 10, 11 ansteuert, so dass sich die Stellung des Solarmoduls 4 so ändert, dass die einfallende Sonnenstrahlung jeweils senkrecht auf das Solarmodul 4 trifft.
Die Stelleinheit für das Solarmodul 4 mit der Ortserfassungseinheit und dem Nachführmodul ist jeweils ohne Zutun des Bedieners des Kraftfahrzeugs tätig. Es ist ausreichend, wenn die Stelleinheit selbständig erkennt, dass das Kraftfahrzeug abgestellt ist, beispielsweise, dass der Motor abgestellt wurde. Ebenso fährt die Stelleinheit das Solarmodul 4 in die in Fig. 1 dargestellte, an der Karosserie 1 anliegende Stellung, sobald der Motor des Kraftfahrzeuges angestellt wurde oder sobald erfasst wurde, dass die Sonne unter dem Horizont verschwunden ist.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Kraftfahrzeug, umfassend eine Karosserie (1), eine Photovoltaikeinheit mit einem Solarmodul (4), und eine Stelleinheit, mittels derer das Solarmodul (4) relativ zu der einfallenden Strahlung einstellbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stelleinheit ein Nachführmodul umfasst, wobei das Nachführmodul ein automatisches Nachführen des Solarmoduls (4) relativ zu der einfallenden Strahlung ermöglicht.
2. Kraftfahrzeug nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stelleinheit mindestens drei, insbesondere vier, längenveränderliche Aktuatoren (8, 9, 10, 11) umfasst, die von einem Motor angetrieben werden, wobei der Motor von der Stelleinheit gesteuert ist.
3. Kraftfahrzeug nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens einer der Aktuatoren einen hydraulischen oder pneumatischen Zylindertrieb umfasst.
4. Kraftfahrzeug nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens einer der Aktuatoren (8, 9, 10, 11) einen Spindeltrieb, insbesondere einen Kugelspindelantrieb oder einen Gewindeantrieb, um- fasst.
5. Kraftfahrzeug nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stelleinheit eine Ortserfassungseinheit umfasst, die ermittelt, an welcher geographischen Position die Karosserie (1) steht.
6. Kraftfahrzeug nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Solarmodul (4) der Photovoltaikeinheit auf dem Dach (2) der Karosserie (1) fest und bezüglich des Dachs (2) beweglich angeordnet ist.
7. Kraftfahrzeug nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Hybridantrieb vorgesehen ist, der von der Photovoltaikeinheit gespeist ist.
