Claims (15)
- An external door handle (1) for actuating a door lock and/or door for a motor vehicle body, comprising
a handle housing (2) for arrangement in the body,
a pull handle (6) pivotably supported in the handle housing (2) at an end of the handle housing (2) for rotation about a first pivot axis (4), the pull handle being flush with the motor vehicle body or the handle housing (2), when in the closed position,
at least one unlocking key (10) with which the pull handle (6) can be unlocked in a closed and rest position, whereby the pull handle (6) can be pivoted into an operative position in which the pull handle (6) protrudes from the body for actuation,
wherein the pull handle (6), when in the outward pivoted operative position protruding from the body, opens the door lock and/or the door (3) when the pull handle (6) is pulled manually, wherein the at least one unlocking key (10) is arranged inside or outside the handle housing (2),
characterized in that
at the end of the pull handle (6) opposite the first pivot axis, a pivot lever (16) is hinged to the pull handle (6) for pivoting about a second pivot axis (5), the pivot lever being adapted to be coupled, at least in the outward pivoted operative position, with a lock opening element (24), wherein the free end of the pivot lever slides along the handle housing (2) when the pull handle (6) pivots outward due to unlocking. - The external door handle of claim 1, characterized in that the pull handle (6) is biased by means of at least one spring (12, 14) urging the pull handle (6) into the operative position after an unlocking by means of the unlocking key (10).
- The external door handle of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the free end (15) of the pivot lever (16) hinged to the pull handle (6) is guided along a curved track (18).
- The external door handle of one of claims 2 to 3, characterized in that a first spring (12) acting between the pull handle (6) and the pivot lever (16) exerts an outwardly directed force on the pull handle (6).
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pull handle (6) is provided with a second spring (14) arranged at the first pivot axis (4) and acting between the handle housing (2) and the pull handle (6), which spring exerts a force on the pull handle (6) acting towards the operative position.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the unlocking key (10) is mechanically or electrically coupled with a blocking element (20) adapted to be displaced upon operation of the key, the element cooperating with a retaining element (22) of the pull handle (6) when the pull handle (6) is in the closed position.
- The external door handle of claim 6, characterized in that the blocking element (20) and/or the retaining element (22) are resiliently displaceable and are in mutual interlocking engagement in the closed position of the pull handle (6).
- The external door handle of one of claims 6 to 7, characterized in that the retaining element (22) of the pull handle (6) is arranged on the side of the pull handle (6) opposite the first pivot axis (4).
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the pivot lever (16) is adapted, at least in the outward pivoted operative position, to be coupled with a lock opening element (24) such that, upon a further outward directed manual pivot movement of the pull handle (6), the door lock (26) can be unlocked to open the vehicle door.
- The external door handle of claim 9, characterized in that the lock opening element (24) is formed by a preferably automatically restorable pull lever (28) to which a pull element (30) is hinged that opens the door lock (26) when operated.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the pull handle (6) is adapted to be pivoted between the locking and the rest position by means of an electric drive.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the pull handle (6) is adapted to be latched manually in the locking and rest position, or that the drive (30) pulls the pull handle (6) into the locking position when the unlocking key (10) is actuated again or when a locking key (11) is actuated.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the first pivot axis (4), fixed for rotation with the pull handle (6), is engaged by a damping means (34) that dampens the movement of the pull handle (6) preferably only in the outward pivoting direction.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the pull handle (6) is a bow-shaped handle or a folding handle.
- The external door handle of one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that an electromagnetic means blocks the operation of the unlocking key (10) and releases the same only when a detection means (44) has issued an enabling signal (46) after having checked the access authorization of a person.
