Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a process for producing self-adhesive transfer papers, self-adhesive transfer papers and transfer printing processes prepared by the process.
  • Transfer printing refers to the printing of different materials, such as textiles, using transfer papers. Transfer papers are coated with pigments, which are then transferred to the printable materials by sublimation using a thermal transfer press.
  • EP 1 356 953 discloses a phosphorescent transfer layer useful in forming a transfer image, wherein the transfer image is obtained by transferring a comparative image formed on the layer by means of an ink jet printer or other means to, for example, clothes.
  • the transfer layer comprises a support and a transfer layer formed on the support and containing a hot melt adhesive particle and a phosphorescent pigment.
  • EP 2 014 688 discloses a heat-sensitive layer comprising a thermoplastic resin and a hot melt adhesive material.
  • the thermoplastic resin contains as a main component a (meth) acrylic polymer comprising acrylonitrile.
  • the heat-sensitive self-adhesive layer may be applied to a support.
  • An intermediate layer of thermosensitive polymer may be disposed between the thermosensitive layer and the support.
  • WO 00/06392 discloses a transfer paper, in particular for inkjet printing, which is provided at least on the side to be printed with a release or barrier layer, wherein the layer has a porosity of at most 100 ml / min.
  • WO 2008/006434 discloses a transfer paper having a coating with a semisynthetic polymer having thermoplastic properties.
