Casing body according to Claim 3, characterized in that the profiled groove (7) has a planar slot or channel shape designed to receive a connecting flange (9') of an attached profile (9), for example an L-shaped profile, designed to be connected by at least one second flange (9") to the wood of the frame, wherein the depth to which the flange (9') of the profile (9) engages by slotting into the groove (7) can be adjusted.

Casing body according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it consists entirely of the hot moulded or foamed thermally insulating material, wherein the first side wall (2) is thicker than, preferably approximately twice as thick as, the second side wall (2') forming the other flange of the U-shaped casing body (1).
  8. Casing body according to Claim 7, characterized in that the first and second side walls (2 and 2') are provided, at their free edge faces, with metal profiles (4) of identical cross section, these profiles defining longitudinal grooves (11) which are open toward the internal space (VI) and face each other.
  9. Casing body according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the or each metal profile (4) consists of an extruded profile made of aluminium or an aluminium alloy, in that the thermally insulating material is a cellular expanded or foamed polystyrene or polyurethane and in that the profile (9) attached by matching engagement in the groove (7) consists of an angle bar or a T-shaped profile made of a rigid plastic material, for example made of polyvinyl chloride.
  10. Device for the casing of a roller shutter comprising a body with a U-shaped cross section designed to be mounted on the upper crosspiece of a wooden frame, characterized in that the casing body is a body (1) according to any one of Claims 1 and 3 to 9, wherein an attached profile with an L-shaped or T-shaped cross section (9) is engaged in the groove (7) by a connecting flange (9') and secured to a wooden upper crosspiece (12) by at least a second flange (9"), said profile (9) closing off the gap between the edge face (3) of the flange or of the side wall (2) and said upper crosspiece (12).
