Description

The invention relates to a hydraulic unit, in particular for the supply of conveying and lifting equipment according to the feature configuration of the preamble of claim 1.

Hydraulic units of this type are known, see for example DE 10 2004 032 256 B3 , Such units are used as compact units in various types of conveyors and hoists for the actuation of lifting cylinders. The drive of the respective hydraulic pump is usually carried out by an electric motor, DC motors are used in particular in non-stationary applications, such as the operation of tail lifts, which are operable in a power class of about 0.8 kW to 3.0 kW from a respective electrical system.

Due to the variety of applications and consequent different installation situations such hydraulic units are usually implemented in various construction concepts, with fundamental differences in particular between versions for installation with vertical main axis and versions for horizontal installation are given.

By the DE 197 39 233 A1 a generic hydraulic unit is known with respect to a device main axis end tank and attached thereto functional components comprising at least one hydraulic pump and a connector body with a valve means and a conduit arrangement for suction and return of hydraulic fluid to and from the tank, wherein it is designed as a turning unit is, in which the inlet end of the suction line of the conduit arrangement is disposed within the tank at a location at which the base of the liquid in the tank is located during operation of the unit with a vertical main axis and in operation of the unit with the main axis inclined to the vertical. The known hydraulic unit can be operated both in the vertical position and in the inclined position to the vertical.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a hydraulic unit whose construction allows both a vertical and a horizontal installation situation without a change in the construction concept is required.

According to the invention this object is achieved by a hydraulic unit having the features of claim 1 in its entirety.

Thereafter, a significant feature of the invention is that the tank has an end wall part located at the end side with respect to the main axis and at least one further boundary wall part immediately adjacent thereto, and that the inlet end of the suction line is located in the transition region between the end wall part and the boundary wall part. This ensures that both in vertical mounting position, where the end wall part forms the tank bottom, as well as in the horizontal mounting position in which the adjoining the end wall part boundary wall part forms the tank bottom, the inlet end of the suction line is located in each case at the liquid base. With the solution according to the invention a turning unit is created in the manner of a modular system, with the different deployment and installation situations can be covered.

In particularly advantageous embodiments, at least a majority of the tank has a cuboid inscribed shape, preferably with approximately square outline of the end-side end wall part, wherein the inlet end of the suction line is arranged closely adjacent to a corner of the end wall part, ie in a region of the cuboid, at the two Adjacent wall parts at right angles to each other, of which, depending on whether the installation position is vertical or horizontal, one of the wall parts forms the tank bottom.

If, in particularly advantageous embodiments, the arrangement is such that a filling inlet of the tank is provided at the end wall of the end wall opposite end wall of the cuboid in the region of that corner which is diagonally opposite to the inlet end of the suction line associated corner, then not only one Reversing possibility between vertical and horizontal installation position possible, but in horizontal installation position, both side walls of the cuboid, which adjoin the corner associated with the inlet end of the suction line, form the tank bottom. In other words, there is thus a further turning possibility in the horizontal mounting position, namely a possible rotation also around the main device axis in this case.

In particularly preferred embodiments, the arrangement is such that for the attachment of the connecting body to the tank whose top wall has a protruding from its surface, round neck with a flange for the abutment of a connecting flange of the connection body, wherein a clamp with a tank side flanged edge and the connecting flange of the connecting body is provided with a form-fitting cross-section hollow profile. This is a particularly simple and reliable connection to the metallic connector body a made of a UV-resistant plastic material, such as PE material, tank possible without screwing would be required with the disadvantages, as they usually occur in screw between metal bodies and thin-walled plastic bodies.

In advantageous embodiments, a hood, preferably also made of UV-resistant plastic, be present in the form of a box open on one side, in which the attachments located on the tank are receivable and which can be attached with its open side on the tank. The connection can also be made here in a positive manner, if in the side walls of the cuboid forming boundary wall parts of the tank a groove-like concavity is formed, which extends in the vicinity of the top wall over the circumference of the cuboid continuously in a plane perpendicular to the main axis. This concavity, in cooperation with an end rib projecting inwardly of the hood at the end edge surrounding the open side of the cuboid, can form the positive connection by engagement of the end rib of the hood with the concavity of the tank.

To form a substantially smooth-surface box shape of the aggregate, the side walls of the hood attached to the tank can form planar continuations of the side walls of the cuboid of the tank. Thus, a protected (for example against stone chipping and UV radiation) unit is created, which, apart from the access for electrical and hydraulic connections, is closed.

The Fig. 1 to 3 clarify overall representations of the embodiment of the unit according to the invention, wherein Fig. 1 the embodiment in the closed state shows, wherein a substantially closed box shape is formed, and Fig. 2 and 3 partially open drawn representations are from which internal components can be removed. This is, starting from an end-side tank 1, to this directly attached functional elements, namely a connector body 3 and a hydraulic pump 5. The latter is an electrically driven motor-pump unit with a DC motor 7. An in Fig. 2 lifted hood 9, which has the shape of a generally open on one side cuboid forms when they, as in Fig. 1 and 3 shown attached to the tank 1, an enclosure for the mounted on the tank components, the enclosure only on one side a wall opening 11 which forms a passage for hydraulic and electrical lines to the connection body 3 and for fastening means which engage the connection body 3. The connection body 3 is a metallic valve block with a valve arrangement for controlling hydraulic connections 13 and has a line arrangement for the removal and return of hydraulic fluid from and into the tank 1, wherein only one suction line 15 is visible from the line arrangement in the figures. At the end of the suction line 15 is a suction filter 17 whose filter inlet forms the inlet end 19 of the suction line 15.

Corresponding to the shape of the hood 9 and the tank 1 has the shape of a cuboid on the whole with an end-side flat end wall 21, which, if one ignores the rounding at its corners 23, has a rectangular outline which is approximately square. As further boundary wall parts of the tank 1, planar side walls 25 and 27 close (FIG. Fig. 2 ), which extend to an upper top wall 29 of the tank 1. As Fig. 2 and 3 can be removed, the inlet end 19 of the suction pipe 15 is closely adjacent to a corner 23, ie in a node region, in the end wall 21 and side walls 25 and 27 abut each other. In addition, in this corner region, a liquid outlet 31 in the side wall 27. A filling inlet 33, the only in Fig. 3 is visible, is provided on the top wall 29 of the tank 1 at a position which is the inlet end 19 of the suction pipe 15, based on the cuboid shape of the tank 1, diagonally opposite, ie in the representation of Fig. 3 is offset in the plane of the drawing to the rear against the lying in the plane of the drawing entrance end 19.

In this arrangement of the inlet end 19 of the suction line 15 and filling inlet 33 ensures that the inlet end 19 is below the liquid level in the tank 1 and the filling inlet 33 above the liquid level, even if the tank 1 and thus the hydraulic unit as a whole assumes different mounting positions. Fig. 1 and 2 show the unit in a position corresponding to a vertical installation position, in which the end wall 21 forms the tank bottom, where the bottom of the liquid is located. At the in Fig. 3 shown horizontal installation position, in which a side wall 27 forms the tank bottom, the inlet end 19 of the suction pipe 15 is also below the liquid level, wherein the filling inlet 33 is again, as in vertical mounting position, above the liquid level. Deviating from Fig. 3 In the case of a horizontal installation position, the orientation could also be such that the in Fig. 2 visible side wall 25, which in Fig. 3 is omitted, forming the tank bottom. Opposite the in Fig. 3 Therefore, there is a further turning possibility of rotation about the device main axis in a horizontal mounting position.

Further details of the attachment of the connecting body 3, which is a metallic valve block, are made Fig. 4 seen. As shown, a circular pipe socket 35 is formed on the upper top wall 29 of the tank 1, which has a relatively large diameter, which is more than half the width of the tank 1 in the example shown and which is arranged offset from the central region of the top wall 29 , like out Fig. 3 can be seen. The suction line 15 and a return line not shown extending through the nozzle 35 to the connector body 3. This has an engaging into the nozzle 35 annular body 37 with a seal 39 and forms a radially projecting connecting flange 41 which bears against a flange edge 43 of the nozzle 35 , Connecting flange 41 and flange 43 are overlapped by a clamping collar 45, which has a the connecting flange 41 and the flange 43 adapted hollow profile, positively. A provided on the clamp 45 toggle lever tensioner is not shown in the Fig.

As already mentioned, the hood 9 has the shape of a parallelepiped adapted to the outer shape of the tank 1 cuboid, which is open on one side and otherwise, except for an opening 11, closed, so that in the assembled state, the hydraulic unit, as in Fig. 1 shown, has a substantially closed box shape. For attachment of the hood 9 on the tank 1, this is provided in the vicinity of its top wall 29 with a concavity 47, which has the shape of a groove with rounded side walls which extends continuously over the entire peripheral region of the tank 1. This concavity 47 forms a seat for the positive reception of an inwardly projecting end rib 49, which is formed on the end edge surrounding the open side of the cuboid of the hood. This end rib 49 can be snapped into the indentation 47 with a slight elastic deformation of the hood end edge. For additional assurance, a metallic strap 51, see Fig. 5 be provided, which secures the end rib in the concavity 47.

As a final part, which is located at the hood 9 closed at the opening 11, a metal plate 53 is provided in the form of a rounded rectangle, the edge of which is bordered on three sides by a U-profile seal 55 and located on a side wall 25 along the facing end of the connection body 3 extends along the main axis. When mounted hood 9, the profile seal 55 forms the seal against the edge of the opening 11 of the hood 9. The adjacent to the tank 1 side of the metal plate 53 forms at the tank 1 associated fourth side of an end edge 57 which is deformed from the plane of the plate so in that the end edge 57 can be accommodated in the indentation 47 in a form-fitting manner, where it can be secured by gluing or welding. When attached hood 9, the end edge 57 of the plate 53 is additionally overlapped by the end rib 49 of the hood 9, optionally with additional protection by an overarching strap 51 as in Fig. 5 shown.

In the direction of the Fig.2 Seen in an unspecified embodiment also has the possibility to arrange the extent rear wall of the hood 9 as a guide part in extension of the side wall 25 of the tank 1, for example by the rear wall of the hood is fixed to the projecting plate 53. In that regard, then the remaining three side parts of the hood 9 are pushed over the ends arranged on the end faces of the rear wall longitudinal guides from above to the tank 1 and, as described, connected. It can in the direction of the Fig.2 seen rear end wall of the hood 9 also be integral part of the extent of this plate assembly 53, which in turn can be set so far on the tank 1 and / or on the connector body 3.

How out Fig. 1 and 2 can be seen, the metal plate 53 has a passage 59 and apertures 61. Of these, the passage 59 provides access to the hydraulic ports 13 on the connector body 3 and to threaded holes 63 in the connector body 3, which are provided for fastening screws, by which the unit can be fixed to a respective console.

As a modular system, the invention not only offers the possibility to cover different installation situations thanks to the offered turning opportunity, but can be adapted without difficulty to different performance classes. Thus, for example, the volume of the tank 1 can be adapted to the requirements of the hydraulic system in a simple manner by the tank height is increased, with only the suction pipe 15 must be provided with a correspondingly greater length. All other components and their connection to the tank 1, in which possibly only the distance between the end wall 21 and top wall 29 has changed, remain unchanged.
