Claims (26)

  1. Papierbeschichtungs- oder Papierbindemittelformulierung, umfassend:
    eine wässrige Polymerdispersion, umfassend ein durch Polymerisation eines ungesättigten Monomers und einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung mit einem Dextrose-Äquivalent (DE) von 10 bis 35 erhaltenes Copolymer; und
    einen auf Tetrasulfonat basierenden optischen Aufheller.
  2. Formulierung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleitete Verbindung aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Dextrinen, Maltodextrinen und Mischungen davon ausgewählt ist.
  3. Formulierung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das DE der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung 12,5 bis 25 und vorzugsweise 15 bis 20 beträgt.
  4. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-3, wobei das Molekulargewicht der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung 3000 bis 20.000 und vorzugsweise 5000 bis 17.000 beträgt.
  5. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4, wobei die von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleitete Verbindung bei Raumtemperatur in einer Menge von mehr als 40 Ges.-% in Wasser löslich ist.
  6. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-5, wobei das Copolymer aus der Gruppe bestehend aus reinen Acrylcopolymeren, Styrol-Acryl-Copolymeren, Styrol-Butadien-Copolymeren und Vinyl-Acryl-Copolymeren ausgewählt ist.
  7. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-6, wobei das Copolymer aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Styrol-Acryl-Copolymeren ausgewählt ist.
  8. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-7, wobei das ungesättigte Monomer ein Monomer aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Styryl, (Meth)Acrylsäure, (Meth)Acrylsäureestern, (Meth)Acrylamid, (Meth)-acrylnitril und Mischungen davon einschließt.
  9. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-8, wobei das Copolymer sich von 5 bis 45 Gewichtsprozent und vorzugsweise 8 bis 40 Gewichtsprozent der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung, bezogen auf das Monomerengesamtgewicht, ableitet.
  10. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-9, wobei die wässrige Polymerdispersion eine disperse Phase und eine wässrige Phase umfasst und die in dem Copolymer bereitgestellte von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleitete Verbindung in der dispersen Phase vorliegt.
  11. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-10, wobei der optische Aufheller nicht aktiviert ist.
  12. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-11, wobei die Formulierung frei von Polyvinylalkohol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Polyvinylpyrrolidon and wasserunlöslichen Stärken ist.
  13. Formulierung nach einem der Ansprüche 1-12, wobei die wässrige Polymerdispersion ferner einen auf Hexasulfonat basierenden optischen Aufheller umfasst.
  14. vorfahren zur Herstellung einer Papierbeschichtung- oder Papierbindemittelformulierung, bei dem man:
    eine Mischung eines ungesättigten Monomers und einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung mit einem Dextrose-Äquivalent (DE) von 10 bis 35 in einem wässrigen Medium polymerisiert, wobei man ein Copolymer in einer wässrigen Polymerdispersion erhält; und
    die wässrige Polymerdispersion mit einem auf Tetrasulfonat basierenden optischen Aufheller mischt.
  15. Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Aufhellungseigenschaften von Papier, bei dem man:
    eine wässrige Polymerdispersion, umfassend ein durch Polymerisation eines ungesättigten Monomers und einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung mit einem Dextrose-Äquivalent (DE) von 10 bis 35 erhaltenes Copolymer, bereitstellt;
    die wässrige Polymerdispersion mit einem auf Tetrasulfonat basierenden optischen Aufheller mischt, wobei man eine Papierbeschichtungs- oder Papierbindemittelformulierung erhält; und
    die Formulierung als Beschichtung auf Papier ausbringt.
  16. Verfahren nach Anspruch 15, bei dem man im Bereitstellungsschritt eine Mischung eines ungesättigten Monomers und einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung mit einem Dextrose-Äquivalent (DE) von 10 bis 35 in einem wässrigen Medium polymerisiert, wobei man das Copolymer erhält.
  17. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 14-16, bei dem es sich bei der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung um eine Verbindung gemäß den Ansprüche 2-4 handelt.
  18. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 14 und 16-17, bei dem man im Polymerisationsschritt zunächst eine wässrige Lösung einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung bei Raumtemperatur, die mehr als 40 Gew.-% der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung, umfasst, mit dem ungesättigten Monomer mischt und die Mischung zur Bildung des Copolymers polymerisiert.
  19. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14-18, bei dem sich das Copolymer von 5 bis 45 Gewichtsprozent der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung, bezogen auf das Monomerengesamtgewicht, ableitet.
  20. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14-19, bei dem der optische Aufheller nicht aktiviert ist.
  21. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14-20, bei dem die Formulierung frei von Polyvinylalkohol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Polyvinylpyrrolidon und wasserunlöslichen Stärken ist.
  22. Papier, umfassend eine Fasermatrix und eine Bindemittelzusammensetzung, umfassend ein durch Polymerisation eines ungesättigten Monomers und einer von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung gemäß den Ansprühen 1-5 mit einem Dextrose-Äquivalent (DE) von 10 bis 35 erhaltenes Copolymer und einen auf Tetrasulfonat basierenden optischen Aufheller.
  23. Papier nach Anspruch 22, wobei sich das Copolymer von 5 bis 45 Gewichtsprozent der von einem Kohlenhydrat abgeleiteten Verbindung, bezogen auf das Polymertrockengewicht, ableitet.
  24. Papier nach einem der Ansprüche 22-23, wobei der optische Aufheller nicht aktiviert ist.
  25. Papier nach einem der Ansprüche 22-24, wobei das Bindemittel frei von Polyvinylalkohol, Carboxymethylcellulose, Polyvinylpyrrolidon und wasserunlöslichen Stärken ist.
  26. Papier nach einem der Ansprüche 22-25, wobei das Bindemittel als Beschichtungsschicht auf einem Papiersubstrat bereitgestellt ist.
