Description
The invention is based on a segmented plate which serves as a stairlift, gangway and swimming platform and is preferably mounted on the stern of a watercraft, quasi self-supporting, but with safety support and inclination means in the form of a suitably placed working cylinder, the segmented plate elements and the adjustment mechanism having security means which are able to exclude shear and pinch points, according to the preamble of the first claim.
The staircase function also makes it possible to raise the incline so that, like a gangway, it allows a raised pier or dock to be accessed on board without any ado, and, in addition, one or more panel elements can optionally be extended.
More and more boats and yachts are equipped at the rear with swimming platforms or stairs, on the one hand to be closer to the water by means of the floating platform, or easier to attach the Wasserskimittel to the feet, on the other hand to have a stair gear to the water back aboard the boat or the To get to the yacht. Many swimming platforms have pull-out stairs so you can get in or out of the water better. Lowerable swimming platforms are a great luxury but extremely comfortable and are usually purchased in conjunction with the lift function for a dinghy.
The invention brings the advantages of a floating platform with the advantages of large, otherwise only to find yachts extendable and inclinable stairs with the constant remaining horizontal stairs, in an elegant, space-saving and simple way together, with a special attention to the safety of people and at the same time also dedicated to mechanics. Thus, all functions and uses of a swimming platform are maintained, the comfortable horizontal staircases are easily accessible and have a high safety standard and are also accessible, even if the staircase is in motion.
Since steps under water are difficult to see, the moving parts of the mechanics are protected against shear and crushing risks, the steps can be unlatched or unilaterally deformed under appropriate load and direction and can be equipped with a detection sensor and stub electronics, so that when entering the stairs possibly limbs or other foreign bodies, which in the staircase mechanics or get caught between the stairs and the swimming platform, do not suffer any damage, but also the mechanics will not be damaged.
Furthermore, the individual plate elements are locked in the parking position in the floating platform position, to avoid loosening or rattling of the treads by swell or other influences.
The floating platform with the step function can also have rail elements, so that a tender, e.g. taken by a karts and can be driven after elevation, manually or by motor, in the direction of the rear wall or directly into a garage.
Also, the floating platform with the staircase function is not only one-sided on the lowering of the elements aligned, but this can also be moved to a lifting position, so that it can be used as a gangway, especially in conjunction with the extendable additional plate elements and the suspension, resp. Damping function of the lifting mechanism in the event of a jib or dock impact.
To convert the lifting movement around the floating platform into a lowerable staircase or gangway is by means of either an active active cylinder, e.g. hydraulic, pneumatic, electric action cylinder, or by means of a passive working cylinder, which represents a gas spring.
According to the invention this is achieved by the features of the first claim.
The core of the invention is to install at the stern of a watercraft, a floating platform with a high safety standard stair function, which can be lowered or raised, by means of an active or passive active cylinder equipped with gap-covering means, releasable or unilaterally deformable stages, one or more contact sensors with stop release and additional security and locking devices.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

Am Variomittel 3 befindet sich zudem ein ausklappbares Geländer 12, sodass Badegäste die komfortable Treppen- als auch die Gangwayfunktion zusätzlich geniessen können, welche ebenfalls der Sicherheit, insbesondere bei Seegang dient.shows a schematic side view of a projecting beyond thetail 1 of a watercraft segmentedplate 2, consisting of a plurality ofsegment strips 5 and their security means 51, which is supported by aVariomittel 3 and by means of theaction cylinder 4 lowering or lifting theVariomittels 3 allows. Thesegmented plate 2 serves as a floating platform in the horizontal inclination position A, or as a stairway to the water, or under the waterline WL, or the incline positions C upwards as a gangway, to make the pier or the landing stage more favorable to reach.
Thesegmented plate 2 consists of segment strips 5, which lined up form a flat plate, wherein the segment strips 5 are rotatably supported by means of axes ofrotation 6 and the attachedcam 7 in aclip holder 8, which is located on thevariometer 3, are taken. By the lifting movement H of thevariometer 3, the segment strips 5 remain horizontal, since thevariometer 3 forms a parallelogram in this example, by means of the 9a, 9b, which are mounted rotatably mounted on thetilt arms console 10 and theconsole 10 is mounted on the rear 1. The horizontal attitude of the segment strips 5 on thevariometer 3 can also be accomplished by other means, such as by means of a stepping motor, in which the angle of inclination of thevariometer 3 is measured and accordingly the segment strips 5 are readjusted. Also, the segment strips 5 can be held in the desired position via a positively controlled gear drive or belt drive, it is common to all that the segment strips 5 with appropriate load such as a Hinge rate of a foreign part in the mechanics, causes the segment strips 5 is made of the Release the swivel anchor and the lifting movement H is stopped immediately. Of course, the segment strips 5 can also have other security elements. The protectable mechanism relates on the one hand to the movable segment strips 5, on the other hand on the two 9a, 9b, which change the distances of thetilt arms 9a, 9b to each other during the lifting movement over the stroke H, and these are therefore completely covered by atilt arms cover 11 ,
Theactive cylinder 4 supports theplate 2 so that it remains solid even in strong swell in the normal tilt position A in position, even if an object is fixed to it or in the staircase function to the mechanics in the swell by means of the appropriate support theWirkzylinder 4, to keep stiff. Theactive cylinder 4 can either be supported directly on the rear 1 or on the correspondingly shapedbracket 10. To prevent unwanted dropping of theactive cylinder 4, a liftinglock 50 is provided, which in a hydraulically operatedactive cylinder 4, for example, a check valve in anelectric working cylinder 4 is a self-locking spindle and may include a gas blocking element in a gas spring or provides an additional mechanical lock, such as a mechanical lock betweenplate 2 and rear 1. Together these locking solutions, another security means 51 with respect to the tiltable andsegmented plate 2 is available put. The safety means 51, in addition to the notching function, comprise the deformable elements described below, electronic means and others, wherein not all of them must simultaneously be used in the corresponding, differently shaped segment strips 5. OnVariomittel 3 is also a fold-outrailing 12, so bathers can enjoy the comfortable staircase as well as the gangway function in addition, which also serves safety, especially in rough seas. - Fig. 2Fig. 2
-
Cupholder und andere Halterungen erlauben es, die eingenommene Position zusätzlich und länger zu geniessen.shows a schematic side view of thesegmented plate 2 with the individual ausklinkbaren segment strips 5. The segment strips 5 are rotatably mounted by means of the axis ofrotation 6 and 9A attached to the tilt arm, could be clipped and are hooked by thecam 7 in theclip holder 8, theclip holder 8am Tilt arm 9b is moored. This simple geometry in connection with a parallelogram as shown here asVariomittel 3, keeps the segment strips 5 thus always horizontal. Theclip holder 8 is advantageously made of plastic with a suitable spring detection and has asensor 13 which is connected to theelectronics 14. This is at contact loss on the sensor 13 a stop command to theactive cylinder 4 on. This function is central, should a limb, foot or hand or otherforeign element 15 are located between one of thesegmental strips 5, exactly while thevariomittel 3 moves upward, because then the distance fromSegmentleiste 5 toSegmentleiste 5 is getting smaller and a massive clamps or worse would be the consequences. Due to the increasing pressure on the corresponding segment strips 5, thecam 7 jumps out of theclip holder 8 and gives theforeign element 15 space, at the same time, due to the loss of contact on thesensor 13, the lifting movement H is stopped immediately by means of theelectronics 14. By means of thespring 28, shown here only at one point, this brings thesegment strip 5 back to the starting position once the problem with theforeign element 15 is resolved.
Another backup is thecontact strip 16. In the case of excessive pressure on thiscontact strip 16 is applied, theactive cylinder 4 is also stopped immediately by means of theelectronics 14. As with slightly moving water, the contours are not exactly visible just below the water surface WL, a visual aid can be attached, so that by alight bar 17, the person visually recognizes where the limit for the feet or hands. An optical strip also has the advantage of delivering an interesting additional lighting at the rear 1 at night.
In addition, on one of the segment strips 5, usually in thelast segment strip 5, anextension part 18, which allows a water ski thanks to more contact surface, ie, comfortable and safe to install, only to be discontinued into the water. Also come on board is a first, larger focal point in the form of anextension part 18 together with the segment strips 5, more pleasant and secure to obtain.
Such extension parts 18 can also be attached elsewhere, so that in the step function, the bathers can sit down on such enlarged areas to sit even closer to the water or partially in the water. Cup holders and other mounts allow you to enjoy the position you have taken longer and longer. - Fig.3Figure 3

Ein Überbrückungsschalter 22 lässt den Wrkzylinder 4 trotz Kontaktverlust am Sensor 13, in Eigenverantwortung aktivieren.shows a schematic side view of an unclaimedsegmented plate 2 with the individual segment strips 5, which havedeformable elements 19. Wedged when booting theVariomittels 3 with itscover 11 on the hub H unfortunately aforeign body 15 between the segment strips 5, the stroke H is stopped by means of signaling through thesensor 13 to theelectronics 14, theactive cylinder 4 immediately.
If aforeign object 15 has reached thesegmental strips 5 for a long period of time, and if thesegmented plate 2 is now tended to tilt downwards by means of thevariometer 3, then the process remains inactive, since eg driftwood has become wedged and lowering the segment strips 5 would lead to damage to the mechanism. Abypass switch 22 allows theWrkzylinder 4 despite contact loss on thesensor 13, activate in personal responsibility. - Fig.3a3a

deformable element 19. This has an overhead, elastic and walk-surface 20, includingrigid segments 21 are mounted, one is glued or connected to the other, eachsegment 21 has only a direct contact with theSurface 20, for eachsegment 21 is supported on theother segment 21 and thus a bending or buckling of theelastic surface 20 is prevented. Thedeformable element 19 has asensor 13 which is e.g. a strain gauge, an optical encoder or button can be so that upon deformation of thesurface 20, thesensor 13, the signal to theelectronics 14 passes and then theactive cylinder 4 is stopped immediately. - Fig.4Figure 4

The 9a, 9b attached to thetilt arms bracket 10 by means of the 9c, 9d generate a parallelogram and, because of this parallelogram geometry, while thepivot bearings variometer 3 descends downwardly, the segment strips 5 are constantly closer and finally in the tilt position A lying next to each other. Therefore, the segment strips 5 are unlatched from the opposite side, ie, in the case of aforeign body 15 is located between the segment strips 5 during the stroke H, both 8 and 8a are active, theclip holders segment strip 5 is cliped and thesensor 13 indicates the loss of contact theelectronics 14 and thus triggers the command to stop the stroke H immediately. This preserves the high safety standard.
Figure 5 shows a schematic side view of an unclaimedsegmented plate 2 with arcuate segment strips 5, for example in three lifting positions C, A, B. For yachts with enough space under a horizontally heldplate 2, therefore, ideally fully wrappedsegment strips 5 can be used, so that aforeign element 15, such as a foot, can never fall below or between the segment strips 5, whether theVariomittel 3 upwards in the tilt position C or inclined downwards in tilt position B. In the tilt position A, the segment strips 5 are normally accessible and thus one or the other security means are omitted, thecover 11, in the case of using a parallelogram with the tilting 9a, 9b, remains.arms - Fig.5a5a

segmented plate 2 with variable conical segment strips 5, for example in a stepped position. Due to the arcuate stroke H of thevariometer 3, the distance from thesegment strip 5 to thenext segment strip 5 changes depending on the inclination position. So that the segment strips 5 remain gap-free with respect to each other, the segment strips 5 each have ahinge 23 on the two side edges of thesurface 20a, which hold the side covers 24. Below thesurface 20a there are compression springs 25, which are supported against therib 26. This ensures that theside cover 24 of asegment strip 5 always rests firmly against theopposite segment strip 5 on theside cover 24. - Fig. 6Fig. 6

Should by carelessness or swell theVariomittel 3 with itssegment strip 5 strike on theweb 27, so the system takes no damage, since thesegment strip 5, by means of therotation axis 6,cam 7 andclip holder 8 disengages. As soon as the problem no longer exists, theextension part 18, resp. thesegment strip 5 back to the starting position, by means of the spring action of the spring 28th
If the notching is reported by thesensor 13 to theelectronics 14, then theeffective cylinder 4 extends by a stroke value x until no notching of thesegment strip 5 is reported more. It is conceivable to equip the whole with a proximity switch and also forward the signal to theelectronics 14, which activates theactive cylinder 4 accordingly. If thesegment strip 5, resp. theextension member 18 taken from the front, according to arrow K, apositive pressure valve 29 acts on thehydraulic unit 30 and makes the hydraulic fluid from theactive cylinder 4 soft, in an electric drive, this would be a freewheeling element, so that the cylinder does not remain adamant and takes damage or the entire Plant suffers. The pressure relief valve reports to theelectronics 14 the actual state and thus the command triggers theeffective cylinder 4 to drive away to avoid damage.
This configuration is also suitable for a staircase mode. If the plate in the tilt position B and the Z-drive, not shown here, is pivoted up, so this would be against thetorque tube 49 described further back, and thus activate thepressure relief valve 29 immediately. AWamton 53 would also point to the upcoming problem. In addition, attached to most Z-drives trimindicator 52, which is usually a Drehpoti, used to report the actual signal to theelectronics 14, so that the Z-drive can not be swung in such a case, or at a already raised Z-drive, the Treppenfunktiori is blocked. - Fig. 7Fig. 7

segmented plate 2 with individually ausklinkbaren segment strips 5 with a locking mechanism 31, consisting of atrigger 32 which pushes a lockingbar 33 in the lockingreceivers 34. This function is advisable as soon as theplate 2 remains in the tilting position A, so that waves can not disengage thesegmental strips 5 or when driving due to the impacts on the hull of the vessel, the segment strips 5 do not rattle. As long as the locking mechanism 31 is active, theeffective cylinder 4 can not be activated. - Fig. 8Fig. 8

segmented plate 2 with the individual releasable segment strips 5 with apassive locking mechanism 31 a, consisting of a spring-loadedball 47 and theball seat 48, which represents a recess in thetilt arm 9b. Thepassive locking mechanism 31 a is just at the horizontal inclination position A, the segment strips 5 hold to a rattle or not always have the risk that the segment strips disengage 5 at a wave. The spring-loadedballs 47 in the segment strips 5 are therefore pressed into therecesses 9b of theball socket 48 and hold them in thetilting arm 9b until they reach an adjustable pressure. If theaction cylinder 4 moves in or out, thevariometer 3 is correspondingly inclined and thus the spring-loadedball 47 leaves theball seat 48 and thus thesegment bar 5 can be unlatched again normally. - Fig. 9Fig. 9

Mittels der Tenderwagensperre 39 lässt sich der Tenderwagen 36 in der geeigneten Parkposition fest verriegeln.shows a schematic plan view of a

Thereafter, the zooming means 3 is raised to the tilt position A, so that therail elements 35 extend horizontally and thetender car 36 toward the rear 1, manually or motor according to arrow Z, can be driven. For this displacement operation are therefore under thetender carriage 36 slidingmembers 38, which may be rollers or slides. zeigt eine schematische Seitenansicht der segmentierten Platte 2, welche sich unter einer höhenverstellbaren Schwimmplattform 40 ausfahr- und neigbar befindet.

Theplate 2, together with the otherwise attached to the rear 2console 10 and at this point ideally additionally attachedactive cylinder 4, by means of atrack 43 to the end of theswimming platform 40 and thereby significantly increase the walk-in area, as well as the additional inclination positions B and C use. - Fig. 11Fig. 11

The activation of theVariomittels 3 takes place by means of theactive cylinder 4 via a blockable, pressure-designedgas spring 44, which by means of aBowden cable 42 or by means of ahydraulic Entsperrers 45 can be moved and locked in any position and released again. The change in inclination of theVariomittels 3 by means of weight load according to arrow G, resp. Weight removal from theplate 2, since thegas spring 44 selected here by way of example is always designed to extend in the direction. If a person wants to use the staircase function and drive, for example, into the inclination position B, she uses her own body weight and actuates theunlocker 45 or theBowden cable 42, so that thegas spring 44 can be compressed and thevariometer 3 thereby tilts downwards. If theVariomittel 3 are raised, the person leaves the segment strips 5 and presses theEntsperrer 45 or theBowden cable 42 and theVariomittel 3 moves up. If theplate 2 are also used as a gangway, thegangway barrier 46 is released and thus theVariomittel 3 can start up and reach, for example, the tilt position C. By releasing theEntsperrers 45, resp. of theBowden cable 42, thegas spring 44 is locked in any desired tilt position and can now by the person as Gangway be used. To return the gangway position back to a horizontal inclination position A, again the weight of a person has the function of compressing thegas strut 44, wherein in the horizontal position, a clinker blocking function automatically activates theaisle barrier 46 so that, without a clear intention, thevariome 3 does not move higher can be as in the horizontal position, ie in the tilt position A. This is at the same time the standard position and the appearance and function of a normal swimming platform similar. Thus, thegas spring 44 also has a normal support function of theplate 2. Since the start-up of theVariomittels 3 works only by weight relief, may be omitted for reasons of cost on the Ausklinkfunktion the segment strips 5.
In the case of twogas spring 44 are mounted onVariomittel 3 and because gas spring generally not necessarily always exactly the same Ausschubgeschwindigkeit - applies to the Wirkzylinder 4 - or compression effect and also the weight distribution on theplate 2 is rarely symmetrical, atorsion 49 between theInclined arms 9b mounted to the twotilt arms 9b connected as stiff as possible with each other, so that the best possible harmonization of the tilting process of theVariomittels 3 takes place.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown and described.
