Claims (11)

  1. Elektrischer Zündkerzenverbinder (16) zum Verbinden einer Zündspule (14) mit einer Zündkerze (12), insbesondere zur Verwendung mit einem Motor (10), in dem sich eine Zündkerze (12) in einem tiefen Schacht (18) befindet, der eine Biegung mit einem Winkel X zeigt, während sich die Zündspule (14) außerhalb des Schachts (18) befindet, wobei der Verbinder (16) eine elektrisch isolierende rohrförmige Manschette (30) aufweist mit einem offenen Zündkerzenende (36) und einem offenen Spulenende (38) und innerhalb derer ein elektrisch leitfähiges Mittel (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) vorgesehen ist zum Verbinden der Spule (14) mit der Zündkerze (12), wobei der Verbinder (16) ein Versteifungselement (54) aufweist, das in der Manschette (30) positioniert ist, wobei sich das Versteifungselement (54) im Wesentlichen von dem offenen Zündkerzenende (36) zu dem offenen Spulenende (38) erstreckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Verbinder (16) eine Biegung macht, um einen Winkel X zu bilden, zwischen dem offenen Zündkerzenende (36) und dem offenen Spulenende (38), wobei das Versteifungselement (54) gebogen ist, um ebenfalls den Winkel X zu bilden.
  2. Verbinder (16) gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Versteifungselement (54) ein Element des elektrisch leitfähigen Mittels (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) ist.
  3. Verbinder (16) gemäß einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Versteifungselement (54) eine längliche Stange (54) ist mit einem ersten Ende (56), das der Zündkerze (12) zugewandt ist, und einem zweiten Ende (58), das der Spule (14) zugewandt ist.
  4. Verbinder (16) gemäß einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elektrisch leitfähige Mittel (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) eine erste Feder (50) aufweist, die mit der Zündkerze (12) verbunden ist.
  5. Verbinder (16) gemäß einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elektrisch leitfähige Mittel (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) eine zweite Feder (52) aufweist, die mit der Zündspule (14) verbunden ist.
  6. Verbinder (16) gemäß den Ansprüchen 3 und 4 in Kombination mit einem/jedem anderen Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stange (54) mit einer ersten Platte (60) an ihrem ersten Ende (56) vorgesehen ist, wobei die erste Platte (60) im Wesentlichen flach und orthogonal zu der Stange (54) ist, wobei die erste Platte (60) in Kontakt mit der ersten Feder (50) ist.
  7. Verbinder (16) gemäß den Ansprüchen 3 und 5 in Kombination mit einem/jedem anderen Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stange (54) mit einer zweiten Platte (62) an ihrem zweiten Ende (58) vorgesehen ist, wobei die zweite Platte (62) im Wesentlichen flach und orthogonal zu der Stange (54) ist, wobei die zweite Platte (62) in Kontakt mit der zweiten Feder (52) ist.
  8. Verbinder (16) gemäß den Ansprüchen 6 und 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elektrisch leitfähige Mittel (50, 60, 54, 62, 52), das die erste Feder (50), die erste Platte (60), die Stange (54), die zweite Platte (62) und die zweite Feder (52) aufweist, in der Manschette (30) durch ein Haltemittel (42, 44, 46) gehalten wird.
  9. Verbinder (16) gemäß Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Haltemittel (42, 44, 46) eine interne Schulter (42) aufweist, die mit der Manschette (30) vorgesehen ist und sich in der Nähe des ersten offenen Endes (36) befindet und gegen die die erste Feder (50) anliegt, und einen elastischen Ring (46), der in einer Rille (44) positioniert ist, der sich in der Manschette (30) in der Nähe des zweiten offenen Endes (38) befindet und gegen den die zweite Feder (52) anliegt.
  10. Verbinder (16) gemäß einem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Manschette (30) aus einem weichen Material besteht, wie Silikon.
  11. Verbinder (16) gemäß Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass alle Oberflächen des elektrisch leitfähigen Mittels (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) glatt sind ohne einen scharfen Winkel, so dass während der Fertigung, wenn das elektrisch leitfähige Mittel (50, 60, 54, 62, 52) in die Manschette (30) eingefügt wird, und während eines Betriebs die Manschette (30) nicht beschädigt wird.
