Abstract

L'invention porte sur un carton pour four revêtu de polymère et sur un emballage pour aliments fermé et imperméable à l'oxygène fabriqué à partir dudit carton. Selon l'invention, le revêtement présent sur le carton (1) contient une couche formant barrière à l'oxygène (7) constituée de polyamide (PA) et une couche de surface (8) constituée de polyéthylène téréphtalate (PET), adhérant sans la présence d'une couche d'agent de liaison entre lesdites deux couches. Les couches de polymère (7, 8) sont fabriquées par coextrusion, de telle sorte que la couche de polyamide (7) adhère directement au carton par extrusion. Dans un emballage fermé conforme à l'invention, les couches superposées de polyamide et de PET (7, 8) se trouvent à l'intérieur de la couche de carton, et une couche de PET (9) peut être présente sur la surface extérieure de l'emballage. L'emballage est fermé hermétiquement par thermoscellage des couches de PET. Le polyamide est sélectionné de façon à supporter le thermoscellage et la chaleur produite lorsque l'on chauffe l'emballage dans un four.
