Abstract

L'invention porte sur un tuyau en matière plastique qui est fait d'une polyoléfine réticulée destiné à être utilisé dans, mais sans y être limité, des applications d'eau potable. Certains antioxydants et stabilisants sont ajoutés à un procédé de fabrication du tuyau en matière plastique. Les antioxydants et stabilisants ajoutés restent comme composants clés dans les tuyaux en matière plastique finaux, fournissant une stabilité à long terme supérieure et une résistance supérieure à la dégradation par oxydation, cette dernière étant provoquée, mais sans y être limitée, par des environnements d'eau chlorée. Au moins un stabilisant primaire est utilisé dans la matière.
