Claims (8)

  1. Laundry treatment appliance, such as for example a washer-dryer (1) having a drum (3) rotatably mounted in a housing (2), a loading opening (5) which can be closed by a door (4), and a fan (6) and a heating device (7) to produce a process air stream which flows via a heat exchanger (9) and a fluff filter device (10), and a scent holder (11) cooperating with the process air stream (8), which scent holder gives the laundry items (12) a scent during the drying period,
    characterised in that
    the scent holder (11) is arranged in an air duct formed as a bypass (13) in such a way that the scenting period of the scent holder (11) can be adjusted and controlled during the drying process, the scent holder (11) being arranged in a thermally isolated chamber (14) which is arranged in the bypass (13), in such a way that the scent can be released from the scent holder at any time during the drying process and conveyed into the laundry.
  2. Laundry treatment appliance according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the chamber (14) is equipped with an inlet valve (15) and/or an outlet valve (16).
  3. Laundry treatment appliance according to claim 2,
    characterised in that
    the valves (15, 16) can be electrically actuated.
  4. Laundry treatment appliance according to claim 3,
    characterised in that
    when the valves are in an open position, process air (8) flows through the chamber (14) to transfer the scent provided in the scent holder (11).
  5. Laundry treatment appliance according to claim 4,
    characterised in that
    the valves (15, 16) for conveying the process air (8) are primarily actuated in the cooling phase of the drying process.
  6. Laundry treatment appliance according to claim 1,

    the scent holder (11) comprises a card (18).

    the card (18) is provided with sliding elements which, upon introduction into the chamber (14), automatically open the scent holder region on the card (18), and, upon removal of the card (18) from the chamber (14), automatically close the scent holder region on the card (18).
