Definitions
- the invention relates to a multi-part binding plate for arranging a ski binding comprising two binding parts - a toe piece and a heel holder - on a ski, comprising a plate part for arranging the one binding part and a plate part for arranging the other binding part, the plate parts having a plurality of fastening points spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the ski have their mounting on the ski.
- Binding plates are usually made of plastic and have a relatively large length due to their required extension over the binding mounting area. It is therefore known and customary to fasten binding plates on the ski in such a way that they allow a certain amount of ski bending.
- One-piece binding plates only need to be secured in a fixed position at a longitudinal position relative to the ski, in particular by fixed mounting by means of screws.
- Other fastening points are formed as so-called floating bearing, which fix the binding plate in the vertical direction and in the transverse direction relative to the ski or hold, but allow a relative movement in Skilnaturesraum at Ski bebiegung.
- the production of one-piece binding plates by injection molding can be problematic, especially because complete filling of the long mold cavity in the injection mold is not always ensured.
- the invention has for its object to perform a multi-part binding plate of the type mentioned in such a way and to arrange the ski that a Ski bebiegung less hindered.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in that the plate parts are positively - held against loosening in Skilnatures- and in Skiquerides - are joined, with only one, namely one of the measures provided for arranging a ski binding part plate parts, to mount the ski positionally fixed to a mounting point ,
- the envisaged according to the invention type of connection of the plate parts keeps the plate parts without other fastening means to each other, in the ski longitudinal direction and in Skiquerides no unintentional release is possible. It therefore only needs a plate part and this fixed to be fixed in position only at an attachment point on the ski.
- the plate parts are joined together with play in such a way that a mutually limited, limited tilting movement about a tilting axis running in the transverse direction is made possible at the connection point (s).
- the mobility of the binding plate is further improved in a Ski bebiegung.
- the joining of the plate parts is advantageously carried out by plugging together without separate fastening means, such as screws or rivets.
- the plate parts are also assembled so that they, if they are not attached to the ski, can be solved from each other in a simple and non-destructive manner.
- Such a mating consists according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in a puzzle piece like assembly of the ends of the plate parts.
- the plate parts are plugged together by means of ball joint-like connecting elements.
- This ball-joint-like compound has, for example, two latching balls arranged on the end face of one plate part, which can be positively inserted in recesses on the other plate part, these recesses being open to one of the plate sides, preferably to the underside facing the ski surface, and to the end face of this plate part.
- the ball-and-joint connection of the plate members easily enables the above-mentioned mutual tilting movement of the plate members when a narrow gap remains between the assembled plate members.
- the fixed position attachment point which is provided on a plate member, the positive connection point is adjacent to the subsequent plate member.
- a binding plate 2 is fastened on its upper side.
- the binding plate 2 is made by injection molding of plastic and consists of two plate parts 3, 4, wherein on each plate part 3, 4 of the ski binding parts not shown - toe and heel holder - a ski binding can be fastened.
- To fasten the binding parts of the respective plate member 3, 4 is provided with two extending in the longitudinal direction or in the longitudinal direction of rows of holes 7 and 8, in which fastening screws, not shown, are screwed and which allow the two binding parts adapted in one of the respective ski length to install mutual distance.
- This type of assembly of the toe and the heel holder is known and not the subject of this invention.
- the two plate parts 3 and 4 are positively connected to each other by the end portion of a plate member 4 with two dovetail projections 10a, 10b and the end portion of the other plate member 3 with two diametrically opposed recesses 11a, 11b are provided.
- the dovetail-shaped projections 10a, 10b are insertable into the recesses 11a, 11b vertically to the plane of the plate, so that the plate parts 3, 4 are permanently connected both in the longitudinal direction of the ski and transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- the form-fitting, puzzle-stone-like connection of the two plate parts 3 and 4 makes it possible to fix the binding plate 2 analogously to a one-piece binding plate on the ski 1.
- each attachment point 14 has two symmetrically arranged to the ski longitudinal axis or longitudinal axis plate holes 12a, in which fastening screws 12b are inserted, which are screwed into provided in the ski 1 receiving points.
- the plate member 4 is additionally fixed at its other end portion to further attachment points 15 which allow a certain relative movement of the plate members 4 in the ski longitudinal direction, but keep the plate member 4 both vertically to the ski top side and transverse to the ski longitudinal direction in position.
- the other plate part 3 is held at two attachment points 15 spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- the attachment points 15 each have two symmetrically arranged to the ski longitudinal slots 15 a, in which in a known manner fastening screws 15 b, which are screwed in provided in the ski 1 receiving points, are held such that the relative movement between the plate parts 3, 4 and the ski 1 in Ski longitudinal direction is possible.
- Fig. 3 shows an embodiment with a binding plate 2 'of two plate parts 3', 4 'and a third plate part, a connecting part 20.
- the plate parts 3' and 4 ' are substantially analogous to the plate parts 3, 4 of Fig. 1 and 2 executed, the connecting part 20 is inserted between the plate parts 3 'and 4' puzzle-like manner and so positively connected to the end portions of the two plate parts 3 ', 4'.
- the plate member 4 ' is provided with two dovetail-shaped projections 10'a, 10'b, which engage in recesses 20a, 20b formed opposite one another.
- the plate parts 3 'and 4' are analogous to the plate parts 3, 4 of in Fig. 1 and 2 shown embodiment with respect to the ski 1 'at a longitudinal position at an attachment point 14 fixed in position and arranged relative to other longitudinal positions at attachment points 15 in the ski longitudinal direction.
- each recess 16 in the interior of the plate member 3 " is rounded spherical, a slot-shaped part 16a also opens out at the end face 3" a and is provided for receiving the connecting rod 17a of the detent ball 17. If the two plate parts 3 "and 4" connected to each other, sit the locking balls 17 in the recesses 16, their connecting rods 17a in the slot-shaped parts 16a.
- This type of positive connection between the two plate parts 3 “and 4" allows a tilting movement of the two plate parts 3 "and 4" against each other about a transverse axis to the longitudinal axis the extent of the tilting movement is determined by the width of the gap 18.
- the dovetail-shaped protrusions on the one plate part and the dovetail-shaped recesses on the second plate part can be designed and arranged such that the connection point on one side, preferably the top, of the plate parts can only be seen as a straight joint and the dovetailed connection only visible on the underside of the binding plate.
- the plate parts can have latching points in the form of elevations / depressions into which latching devices of the binding parts can be brought into releasable engagement.
- the plate members may be profiled at least over the respective binding area at their longitudinal edges running in the longitudinal direction of the ski, so as to form in a known manner guide profiles for slidably sliding and moving the binding parts.
- the guide profiles can be designed such that supporting or base plates of the ski binding parts engage over the guide profiles from above.
- locking elements for example in the form of extending in a row grid surveys, be formed or arranged on the plate undersides, with each of which a locking lever which is mounted on the ski binding part concerned, can be brought into engagement.
- Such embodiments are in particular from the EP-A-1 800 716 and the EP-A-1 228 787 known.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-part binding plate for arranging a ski binding comprising two binding parts - a toe piece and a heel holder - on a ski, comprising a plate part for arranging the one binding part and a plate part for arranging the other binding part, the plate parts having a plurality of fastening points spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the ski have their mounting on the ski.
Binding plates are usually made of plastic and have a relatively large length due to their required extension over the binding mounting area. It is therefore known and customary to fasten binding plates on the ski in such a way that they allow a certain amount of ski bending. One-piece binding plates only need to be secured in a fixed position at a longitudinal position relative to the ski, in particular by fixed mounting by means of screws. Other fastening points are formed as so-called floating bearing, which fix the binding plate in the vertical direction and in the transverse direction relative to the ski or hold, but allow a relative movement in Skilängsrichtung at Skidurchbiegung. The production of one-piece binding plates by injection molding can be problematic, especially because complete filling of the long mold cavity in the injection mold is not always ensured. It is therefore expected that there will be a certain amount of waste due to quality issues. In addition, the relatively large packing dimensions of one-piece binding plates are often undesirable. The plate parts of multi-part binding plates can be easily produced by injection molding in good quality and it is also the packing dimensions of the plate parts are much lower. However, it is necessary at least the plate parts receiving the toe and the heel holder respectively positionally fixed to the ski. The plate parts therefore stiffen undesirably the ski and hinder a Skidurchbiegung.
The invention has for its object to perform a multi-part binding plate of the type mentioned in such a way and to arrange the ski that a Skidurchbiegung less hindered.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that the plate parts are positively - held against loosening in Skilängs- and in Skiquerrichtung - are joined, with only one, namely one of the measures provided for arranging a ski binding part plate parts, to mount the ski positionally fixed to a mounting point ,
The envisaged according to the invention type of connection of the plate parts keeps the plate parts without other fastening means to each other, in the ski longitudinal direction and in Skiquerrichtung no unintentional release is possible. It therefore only needs a plate part and this fixed to be fixed in position only at an attachment point on the ski.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the plate parts are joined together with play in such a way that a mutually limited, limited tilting movement about a tilting axis running in the transverse direction is made possible at the connection point (s). By this measure, the mobility of the binding plate is further improved in a Skidurchbiegung.
The joining of the plate parts is advantageously carried out by plugging together without separate fastening means, such as screws or rivets. By this mating the plate parts are also assembled so that they, if they are not attached to the ski, can be solved from each other in a simple and non-destructive manner. Such a mating consists according to a preferred embodiment of the invention in a puzzle piece like assembly of the ends of the plate parts. In another, also advantageous variant of the assembly, the plate parts are plugged together by means of ball joint-like connecting elements.
This ball-joint-like compound has, for example, two latching balls arranged on the end face of one plate part, which can be positively inserted in recesses on the other plate part, these recesses being open to one of the plate sides, preferably to the underside facing the ski surface, and to the end face of this plate part.
The ball-and-joint connection of the plate members easily enables the above-mentioned mutual tilting movement of the plate members when a narrow gap remains between the assembled plate members.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the binding plate consists of at least three plate parts, which are joined together in a form-fitting manner, wherein the binding parts are to be arranged on the two outer plate parts. In this case, one of the plate parts, preferably the middle plate part may be a puzzle piece designed connecting part.
In order to allow in a particularly advantageous manner, a relative movement of the plate members in the ski longitudinal direction with Skidurchbiegung, it is advantageous if the fixed position attachment point, which is provided on a plate member, the positive connection point is adjacent to the subsequent plate member.

The two

The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiments. Thus, instead of rows of holes, the plate parts can have latching points in the form of elevations / depressions into which latching devices of the binding parts can be brought into releasable engagement.
