Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for applying a cosmetic product, including care and a set of packaging and application of such a cosmetic product.
  • a preferred, but not exclusive, field of the present invention relates to the application of a cosmetic product in powder form by means of a foam or puff applicator.
  • Cosmetic product means a product as defined in Council Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993.
  • EP0688516 , FR2513498 , FR2544970 , FR2633167 , FR2798646 and US3694096 disclose examples of devices for applying a cosmetic product, in particular in pulverulent form, of the prior art.
  • the document FR2513498 discloses a dual compartment makeup powder box communicating with each other, a first containing the cosmetic product, a second receiving a chimney. A brush is mounted through this fireplace. In order to take a quantity of product, the user returns the box so as to pass the cosmetic product from the first to the second compartment. The product passing in the second compartment can then adhere to the bristles of the brush. This brush can then be removed from the chimney for the application of the product.
  • a disadvantage associated with such a device is that the user can not easily quantify the dose of product present on the applicator when the applicator is placed on the chimney and the box returned. In particular, it can not estimate whether a flipping is enough to properly impregnate the makeup brush, this being particularly dependent on the remaining amount of powder in the first compartment. To ensure proper impregnation, the user can therefore exercise several reversals of the device in order to release in the second compartment a quantity of product that it will judge a priori adequate.
  • the powders have the particularities of being very volatile. Thus, an excess of product collected may tend to fall on the user's clothing at the time of extraction, or during application to the skin surface concerned. In addition, an excess of product withdrawn can hardly be replaced in the box resulting in a waste of product.
  • the document FR2798646 discloses a device for packaging and applying a product in powder form comprising a container defining an interior space containing the product, a housing for receiving an applicator and a permeable wall disposed between the housing and the interior space.
  • This device also comprises compression means adapted to cause an overpressure in the interior space so as to drive the product through the permeable membrane in contact with the applicator.
  • a disadvantage associated with such a device is again that it does not allow to obtain a correct dosage of the amount of powder to be applied.
  • the product transfer on the applicator is dependent on the compression force and the number of compression exerted by the user. Again an excess product load of the applicator can cause a loss of product and if necessary a stain of the clothes of the user.
  • the documents FR2882506 and FR2915064 disclose examples of prior art devices including vibration means operated by a switch.
  • the document US 2071747 describes a device for conditioning a stick of lipstick.
  • the lipstick stick is carried by a movable support member within a chimney.
  • This chimney is configured to be able to immobilize the support in a finite number of stable axial positions.
  • An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device overcoming at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.
  • An object of the present invention is also to provide a device presenting a new gesture of use.
  • An object of the present invention is still to provide a device easy to manufacture, simple to implement and moderate cost.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a device providing a makeup or a treatment of keratin fibers fine and neat.
  • Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a device for adequately loading the application surface to make up or treat.
  • the cosmetic product may be a product in liquid form or advantageously in powder form.
  • This product may for example be a foundation, a concealer, an eyeshadow, a lipstick, a lip gloss, a nail polish or a skin care product.
  • This plurality of irregularities may comprise a succession or series of irregularities. These irregularities and said at least one relief cooperate together so as to form a dosing correction member of a dose taken in the direction of a decrease of product impregnated on the applicator.
  • the support member of the base can slide on a portion of the chimney.
  • the sliding path may not be traversing. In other words, it can be closed by a background.
  • This plurality of irregularities comprises at least two irregularities provided along the sliding path, preferably at least three, where appropriate at least four, or even between five and twelve irregularities.
  • These irregularities may include a series of protuberances or recesses. These irregularities may be in continuity with one another or with each other. These toothed sectors can possibly extend on the chimney in opposite way, and if necessary diametrically opposite. These areas can extend from an internal surface of the chimney. Alternatively, they may be provided on an outer surface of the chimney.
  • a relief may have at least a portion of dimension such that it can interfere between two successive irregularities.
  • This relief may optionally have a general shape complementary to that of an irregularity.
  • These reliefs can mesh with the irregularities.
  • a rack-type cooperation can possibly take place employing two toothed ring sectors, provided with respective teeth capable of meshing at least partially with one another.
  • the base can be movable relative to the chimney in a mounted position of the support member, between a high position and a low position.
  • the sliding path is configured to guide in rotation and / or translation said support member from its upper position to its lower position. It can also be configured to guide the support member from its high position to its low position and from its low position to its high position. This guidance is achieved by a sliding edge. This sliding edge may possibly guide alone the movement of the support member relative to the chimney. It may possibly be provided with said irregularities.
  • This sliding edge thus forms a high stop, said upper, for the support member. It can also form a lower abutment, called lower, for this organ.
  • Such a device then makes it possible to create via this cooperation of the support member and the chimney a hitting or jerky displacement of the base so as to rid the applicator of an excess product charge.
  • This cooperation of the irregularities with complementary reliefs thus creates a start or jerk of the applicator by simply moving the support member in rubbing contact on or against the chimney.
  • Such a device allows the applicator to preserve an efficient amount of product and to drop by gravity surplus product present on this applicator in the container.
  • one of the irregularities may comprise a relief for fixing the support member on the chimney.
  • this relief may be a protuberance, or grain of rice, or any other relief serving to maintain in the closed down setting position of the base on the container.
  • the support member may receive the applicator so as to surround it over at least a portion of its height.
  • the base can form a cover for closing said chimney.
  • This base can form a cover intended to cover a dispensing opening of a container. More specifically, the support member, together with the applicator, can form a cover adapted to cover a dispensing opening of a container.

  • the applicator may be at least partly made of a material distinct from the support member.
  • the applicator can be attached to the support member.
  • the applicator may include one or more application elements.
  • This applicator may be chosen from a brush provided with a plurality of bristles, where appropriate of the brush or powder puff type, a foam which may be impervious to the product to be sampled or adapted to imbibe product, a woven fabric, a non-woven woven or felt. More generally, this applicator may be made of a porous or non-porous material. The applicator can, especially in the latter case, have on its surface reliefs able to load product. The case If appropriate, such a material may be rough. This applicator may optionally be covered with a flocking.
  • the applicator can be integral in displacement of the support member.
  • the applicator may be fixed permanently on the support member, by any appropriate means. Alternatively, it can be attached to said support member and removably mounted. In the latter case, the applicator may for example be mounted by fitting tightly, screwing or latching on said support member.
  • This support member can hold the application elements of the applicator in the direction of a rimpedement with respect to each other. To do this, this body can optionally include a funnel. A restriction element may optionally be provided to facilitate the positioning of the applicator in the funnel.
  • the applicator may extend from the support member.
  • the support member can then define a gripping member of the applicator for handling for product application. It can also define a cover capable of closing at least partially, and if necessary completely, a dispensing opening of a container.
  • the applicator can therefore be attached to said support member.
  • the support member can accommodate all or part of the applicator while allowing the user to extract it through a gripping member.
  • the applicator can as such act as a cover for closing the dispensing opening of the container.

  • the ramp can define a cam.
  • the relief provided on the support member may form a cam surface adapted to slide on this cam, or vice versa.
  • a rotation of the support member can then cause its axial displacement along the axis of the chimney. This displacement can result in an elevation of the support member relative to the chimney.

  • This bearing can extend between two ramps defining a respective slope oriented in the same direction or in a different direction.
  • the plurality of irregularities may be partly, and especially mostly or exclusively, provided on a ramp, along said sliding path.
  • the presence of said plurality of irregularities at this level makes it possible to ensure that once the applicator impregnated with product in the lower position of the base, the applicator can be brought to its upper position while being wrung out and away from the stock of product so that the excess product cleared through irregularities is avoided to be immediately reprogrammed if the user continues to advance the base to its upper position.
  • the product thus released can in turn fall by gravity directly into a container, or where appropriate on a distribution grid overhanging a container.
  • Said sliding path may comprise a sliding edge adapted to guide the movement of the base, and in particular of the support member, from its low position to its high position.
  • This guidance from the low position to the high position may include a recess relative to the chimney.
