Description
The present invention relates to a device for the practice of an aerotracted sport such as kitesurfing, which allows a user to perform a complete rotation on itself without having to unhook a kite to which it is connected by a set of cables.
For the practice of kitesurfing, the user has at his feet a board allowing him to slide on the water, and he is connected by a set of cables to a kite, to slide on the water being towed by this deer wheel.
In this context, the user is equipped with a device comprising a harness made of textile material and a fastening means attached to this harness, this attachment means being secured to one end of a main cable whose other end is connected to the kite.
Complementarily, two other cables connect the user to the kite, the user manipulating the ends of these other cables with his arms, via a steering bar, to orient and direct the kite, and more generally to modulate the traction power delivered by this kite.
The user can thus slide on the water, and fly to perform, above the water, a free figure such as a rotation. With a traditional device, the realization of this rotation requires unhooking the main cable of the harness, rotate a full turn, and hang the main cable to the harness.
This operation is very physical because once the kite is off the hook, the user must hold it only by the force of his arms, and it is technical because in this situation, the user can not maneuver the kite. to modulate the pulling power.

The device according to the invention comprises a textile harness and a closed rail for surrounding a user at its belt, and a carriage carrying a hook loop, the carriage running along the rail.
The harness has several adjustable straps engaged in corresponding loops of the rail, so as to securely fasten the rail to the user, at its belt, to allow the hook loop carried by the carriage to move freely along the rail, all around the user.
On the inner face of the
The opening 13 makes it possible to introduce the
The
Each of the ends of each
This
The
The
In operation, when the kite exerts traction on the
As indicated above, this rail has a section C comprising in section, two
These two
The two perpendicular loops that are ninety degrees apart from each other constitute the front loops and are taken in two main harness straps. The other two loops that are the back loops are taken in back rings of the harness.
The ends of the
The carriage is further equipped with a
The free end of the
Advantageously, means are provided to deactivate the
These means may comprise an axis traversing transversely the
In this case, in normal operation, the axis slides in the slots, which allows the
The
Each of the two ends of the
This member which is marked 91 in the figures comprises a
The invention also relates to the various variants below.
These three blades and the rigidifying core can be secured to each other by radial bolts, such as
As regards the carriage, it is presented in both embodiments as carrying four rollers, rollers or ball bearings, two ball bearings being supported on a first tread of the rail, two other ball bearings being in position. support on a second tread of the rail.
This solution with three ball bearings instead of four allows the carriage to be isostatic support on the rail, which reduces the manufacturing tolerances of this truck, and therefore its cost.
In general, the rail and the trolley of the device according to the invention can be made of ironwork with marine stainless steel, except for ball bearings that are commercially available. By way of non-limiting example, the rail has a diameter of the order of thirty-five centimeters.
Regarding the textile harness, it may be a type of pants harness, or a dorsal type harness. In the case where it is a panty harness, the rail secured to this harness surrounds the user at the waist. In the case of a backpack harness, the rail surrounds the user at a level above his belt, for example at the level of the thorax.
L'invention apporte notamment les avantages suivants :The invention notably provides the following advantages:
The locking means that constitute the pin and the associated holes to lock the carriage in a single position relative to the rail, this reference position being advantageously located in the center of the front portion of the rail. The user can then use the device as a conventional device, since it has blocked the carriage relative to the rail.
The return means of the pin automatically lock the carriage in the reference position when it passes to this position, the pin then engaging spontaneously in the rail. The ability to lock the pin in the extended position allows a user mastering the device to link figures.
The hook loop allows the user to reliably hook onto the main cable connecting it to the kite, without the risk of unintentional stall, and while maintaining the ability to unhook quickly and safely when needed.
The fastening of the hook loop to the carriage body by a connection allowing this loop to pivot about an axis tangential to the rail makes it possible to reduce the moment of forces applied by the hook loop to the carriage, relative to the axis of displacement. of the cart. The risk of bow thrust of the carriage on the rail is thus reduced to facilitate its sliding along the rail in any situation.
The fact that the rollers or ball bearings of the carriage rest on cylindrical or conical treads, that is to say locally flat against the rollers or ball bearings improves the sliding of the trolley along of the rail.
The structure of the section of the rail, which comprises in section portions inclined relative to the axis of symmetry of the rail gives it a high flexural rigidity, without penalizing either its weight or its size. This rigidity which reduces the bending of the rail in its reference plane contributes to significantly improve the sliding of the carriage along this rail.
In general, in its use under traction, only the ball bearings are in contact with treads of the rail which is rigid, which provides a very smooth sliding of the carriage along the rail.
The device according to the invention can be used in the context of various aerotracted sports, whether on the water such as kitesurfing, on snow like snow-kite or on land such as kite-mountainboard, buggy-kite or roller-kite.
