Claims (9)

  1. Foldable ironing system including a frame (12) mounted on the wall fitted with an ironing board and an iron, the system being composed of a rear part including an ironing surface (16) and a front part (10) linked to the rear part including a decorating surface or a mirror, said system having a first position where said front part is visible in said frame mounted on the wall and the rear part is folded and a second position with said front part is folded and said rear part is made visible in said frame, said rear part including a first set of means for motion and rotation suited to make said system shift from the first position to the second position and vice-versa, and a second set of motion and rotation means (34, 36, 20) to shift said system in the second position from the vertical position within said frame to the horizontal position so that a user could use said ironing;
    said system is characterised by the fact that said first motion and rotation means include a cart (21) supporting a frame (14) around said rear part and specifically said ironing surface (16), said cart being moved sideways from one side to the other of frame (12) fixed to the wall thanks to wheels (22, 24) rolling on each side of a guiding rail (26) in order to move said ironing system from the first position to the second position and vice-versa.
  2. System according to claim 1, where said cart (21) includes a pivot (28) supporting said frame (14) in order to rotate said board around said pivot while said cart is moved from one side to the other of frame (12).
  3. System according to claim 1 and 2, where said second set of motion and rotation means are composed of two pins (34) located on each side of the top extremity of said ironing surface (16), of two grooves (36) located respectively on the inner faces of said frame (14) in which are sliding said pins and a locking system (20) of said ironing surface so that, when said pins slide down in said grooves, said ironing surface in the second position moves from the vertical position to the horizontal position.
  4. System according to claim 3, where said positioning mean (20) is a support with a fork shape with 2 branches where tips (38, 39) are in contact with the base of the (14) and where the tip (40) is maintained while sliding in the groove (42) located under said ironing surface located below said ironing surface (16).
  5. System according to claim 4, where the holes located in said grooves (36) of the frame (14) in which fit said pins (34) activated by springs allow said ironing surface (16) in the horizontal position to stand still while the tip (40) of said support slides into a hole located at the tip of said groove (42) of said ironing surface.
  6. System according to claim 5, where said groove (36) include several holes (43, 44) and the groove (42) of said ironing surface (16) includes several holes in order to adjust the height of said ironing surface while in horizontal position.
  7. System according to claim 1 to 6, where an iron (18) is in the folded position in a cavity at the extremity close to the wall of said ironing surface(16).
  8. System according to claim 7, where said iron includes a handle (50) and a base (52), said handle being folded against said base when the iron is folded.
  9. System according to claim 8, where said handle (50) includes a locking press-button (54) maintained in the locking position thanks to a spring (62), said press-button rotating around a shaft (55) and with its tip (56) being locked by a cam with a first locking crank (59) fitted to lock the handle in the operation position and a second locking crank (60) fitted to lock the handle when folded on said base (52) when the iron is folded.
