Abstract

Retractable assembly for ironing laundry that comprises a frame (12) fixed to the wall, in which there is an iron (18) and an ironing board composed of a rear part that has an ironing surface (16) and a front part (10) integral with the rear part, constituting an ornamental surface or a mirror, it being possible for the board to assume a first position in which the front part is visible in the frame fixed to the wall and the rear part is retracted and a second position in which the front part is retracted and the rear part is rendered visible in the frame. The rear part includes first movement and pivoting means for causing the ironing board to change from the first position to the second position, and vice versa, and second movement and pivoting means for causing the ironing board, in the second position, to change from the vertical position inside the frame to the horizontal position, as a table, so that a user can use the ironing surface.
