Definitions
- the invention relates to an insulating glass with at least two glass panes separated by a gap, of which a glass pane on the glass pane side facing the gap has a layer, in particular coating or vapor deposition, with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range, and with a space provided in the space of one open in a closed position movable sunshade, in particular a blind, wherein the sunscreen additionally has a, acting on the incident infrared radiation layer.
- layers with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range are known, which according to Kirchoff's law corresponds to a low absorption in this spectral range.
- Such "low-e" layers which can be applied as a coating or vapor deposition on glass panes or also form part of the glass pane, have a high degree of reflectivity for long-wave electromagnetic radiation (infrared light) but low reflectance for short-wave electromagnetic radiation (visible light) on.
- such layers are also transparent to short-wave electromagnetic radiation.
- Known layers may be metals, such as gold, silver or copper, or semiconductors.
- the disadvantage is that functionally only a "low-e" layer can be provided in a gap of two adjacent glass panes or makes sense, because otherwise, for example in two layers, between these two layers or the glass panes to a case reflected infrared radiation results.
- To increase the thermal insulation of the insulating glass must therefore be avoided to provide a further glass sheet to form an additional space for a further "low-e” layer, which leads disadvantageously on the one hand to increased material costs and on the other hand to increased weight.
- an additional glass pane forcibly requires a lower passage of visible light, which can disadvantageously lead to darkening.
- an insulating glass with a sunscreen in the space of two adjacent glass sheets is known ( DE 27 49 418 A1 ).
- Glass panels as well as sunscreen can be provided with coatings that affect the impinging infrared Radiation act.
- a coating of the lamellae of the sunshade designed as a shutter for increasing the reflection of infrared light is known in order to adapt the radiation reflection with respect to the sunscreen.
- a coating of the lamellas on the outside which has a high transmittance for visible and near infrared light.
- the DE 27 49 418 A1 by suitable choice of the blind material to reduce the heat loss.
- the DE 27 49 418 A1 a comparatively high light transmittance can be achieved - a known from three glazing with two each associated with a space "low-e" layers known thermal insulation discloses the DE 27 49 418 A1 Not.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, starting from the above-described prior art, to provide a structurally simple insulating glass, in spite of high thermal insulation nevertheless a high light transmission can be guaranteed.
- the insulating glass should offer the function of a sunscreen.
- the invention achieves the stated object in that the layer of sunscreen provided on the sunshade side facing away from the glass pane side with the layer has a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range.
- the layer of sunscreen provided on the sunshade side facing away from the glass pane side has a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range, then it becomes possible to additionally provide a "low-e" layer in the interspace of two glass panes, without any disadvantages to have to take. Namely, it can be avoided inter alia, with the separation of the gap by the sunscreen unwanted trap for infrared radiation, so that the heating of the gap and thus increased heat radiation can be avoided. Furthermore, in contrast to the prior art to increase the thermal insulation no further glass pane must be provided, which not only leads to lower material costs and weight, but also in terms of light transmission is advantageous because an open sunscreen can not constitute a hindrance.
- the thermal insulation can be further improved because so the sunscreen within a gap almost two independent Thermal insulation areas can create. It is not decisive which material is used for the sunscreen, only the "low-e" layer, which can be applied to the sunscreen or even be part of the sunscreen, in connection with the respectively delimited areas of the gap for this improvement in the heat insulation.
- the sunshade designed as a shutter is provided with a reflective layer with a comparatively low visible light emissivity on the sun protection side facing the glass pane side.
- the blind only has to be turned over in order to use the light-reflecting layer.
- insulating glass shown has two glass panes 1 and 2, which have a gap 4 between them by means of a spacer 3 between them.
- a noble gas filling for example, argon or krypton, be provided, which is not shown in detail, wherein a seal 5 is provided for sealing the gap 4.
- the inside of the glass pane 2 of the insulating glass has on the space 4 facing glass side a layer 6 with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range.
- a layer 6 is also a "low-e” coating, which provides for the increased thermal insulation of the insulating glass. It is also conceivable to provide this "low-e" coating on the glass pane 1 which is situated opposite the room side, so that the glass pane 2 can be kept free of condensation water.
- a sun shade 7 designed as a shutter 7 is provided, which is movable between the glass sheets 1 and 2 from an open to a closed position.
- the open position of the blind 7 is the Fig. 1 and the closed position of the blind 7 is the Fig. 2 refer to.
- the means for moving the blind 7 are not shown in the figures for reasons of clarity.
- the blind 7 has a layer 8 with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range. According to the invention, this layer 8 is provided on the side facing away from the glass pane side with the layer 6 sun protection side, so as to enable two "low-e" layers 6 and 8 in a space 4 can.
- the invention is characterized in terms of thermal insulation by, when the shutter 7 in the closed position Fig. 2 located.
- the blind 7 then divides the gap 4 substantially into two separate areas 9 and 10 such that each area 9 and 10 is assigned a layer 8 or 6 with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range.
- This separation can essentially create two separate temperature ranges or two separate convections in the space between the two glass panes 1 and 2, which can prevent the heat flow or heat loss of the insulating glass.
- the blind 7 can act in the manner of a third pane of glass, because the areas 9 and 10 - similar to an insulating glass with three panes of glass approximately two "intermediate areas", each with a "low-e” coating 8 and 6 lead.
- the layer 8 may also prevent the heat radiation, which has not yet been reflected by the layer 6, to escape through the disc 1, which further improves the thermal insulation of the insulating glass.
- the shutter 7 is provided to the glass sheet side with the layer 6 facing sun protection side with a reflection layer 11 with a comparatively low visible light emissivity, which Fig. 3 can be better taken.
- the blind 7 shown here is in a turned position, so that with the reflection of the reflection layer 11, a particularly effective sunscreen can be created.
Description
The invention relates to an insulating glass with at least two glass panes separated by a gap, of which a glass pane on the glass pane side facing the gap has a layer, in particular coating or vapor deposition, with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range, and with a space provided in the space of one open in a closed position movable sunshade, in particular a blind, wherein the sunscreen additionally has a, acting on the incident infrared radiation layer.
In order to improve the thermal insulation of insulating glass with two glass panes, layers with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range are known, which according to Kirchoff's law corresponds to a low absorption in this spectral range. Such "low-e" layers, which can be applied as a coating or vapor deposition on glass panes or also form part of the glass pane, have a high degree of reflectivity for long-wave electromagnetic radiation (infrared light) but low reflectance for short-wave electromagnetic radiation (visible light) on. In particular, such layers are also transparent to short-wave electromagnetic radiation. Known layers may be metals, such as gold, silver or copper, or semiconductors. The disadvantage is that functionally only a "low-e" layer can be provided in a gap of two adjacent glass panes or makes sense, because otherwise, for example in two layers, between these two layers or the glass panes to a case reflected infrared radiation results. To increase the thermal insulation of the insulating glass must therefore be avoided to provide a further glass sheet to form an additional space for a further "low-e" layer, which leads disadvantageously on the one hand to increased material costs and on the other hand to increased weight. Furthermore, an additional glass pane forcibly requires a lower passage of visible light, which can disadvantageously lead to darkening.
The invention is therefore based on the object, starting from the above-described prior art, to provide a structurally simple insulating glass, in spite of high thermal insulation nevertheless a high light transmission can be guaranteed. In addition, the insulating glass should offer the function of a sunscreen.
The invention achieves the stated object in that the layer of sunscreen provided on the sunshade side facing away from the glass pane side with the layer has a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range.
If the layer of sunscreen provided on the sunshade side facing away from the glass pane side has a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range, then it becomes possible to additionally provide a "low-e" layer in the interspace of two glass panes, without any disadvantages to have to take. It can therefore according to the invention opposite design conditions, namely a high thermal insulation and a high transparency to visible light, be combined without disadvantages, which is the invention particularly distinguished from the prior art. Thus, depending on the position of the sunshade on the one hand in its closed position increased thermal insulation and on the other hand in its open position increased permeability Light and heat are allowed. Thus, it is also possible, for example, to allow an increased room-side heat input, so as to increase the energy efficiency of the insulating glass even further. If, in contrast, increased thermal insulation is required, then this can be achieved with closed sunshades. In addition, the sunscreen can be selected independently of the material, because essentially the "low-e" layer of the sunscreen provides for increased thermal insulation. In addition, the measure according to the invention can be structurally simple and also comparatively inexpensive compared to other solutions.
Shares the sunscreen in its closed position, the gap substantially in such two areas that each area is assigned a layer with a comparatively low emissivity in the infrared range, the thermal insulation can be further improved because so the sunscreen within a gap almost two independent Thermal insulation areas can create. It is not decisive which material is used for the sunscreen, only the "low-e" layer, which can be applied to the sunscreen or even be part of the sunscreen, in connection with the respectively delimited areas of the gap for this improvement in the heat insulation.
Advantageous properties for thermal insulation arise when the layer is provided on the room-side glass pane.
In order to improve the sun protection with respect to the degree of reflection, the sunshade designed as a shutter is provided with a reflective layer with a comparatively low visible light emissivity on the sun protection side facing the glass pane side. The blind only has to be turned over in order to use the light-reflecting layer.
