Claims (9)

  1. Spiral staircase comprising:
    a central shaft (13),
    a set of steps (10) each comprising a tread (14) in the form of a sector of a disc,
    at least one fixing plate (12) designed to join a corresponding step (10) onto the shaft (13),
    each step (10) comprising profiles (22a, 22b), which are held on the corresponding support plate (12) and designed to support the tread (14) of the said step, characterised in that the support plate (12) comprises two projecting portions (36a, 36b), which extend in a plane substantially perpendicular to the shaft (13) and onto which the profiles (22a, 22b) are able to be secured, the two projecting portions (36a, 36b) defining between them an angle α corresponding substantially to the angle of the sector of the disc formed by the tread (14).
  2. Spiral staircase according to the preceding claim, in which the profiles (22a, 22b) are joined together at the opposite end (30a, 30b) of the support plate (12) by means of a closing strip (32).
  3. Spiral staircase according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the profiles (22a, 22b) and the longitudinal portions (36a, 36b) have a hollow tubular shape such that the profiles (22a, 22b) fit onto the longitudinal portions (36a, 36b).
  4. Spiral staircase according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the profiles (22a, 22b) comprise at least one groove (38), designed to mount light signalling means (40).
  5. Spiral staircase according to the preceding claim in which the profiles (22a, 22b) comprise two mounting grooves (38) which are designed to mount the light signalling means and are arranged symmetrically in relation to a substantially horizontal median plane.
  6. Spiral staircase according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the profiles (22a, 22b) comprise at least one non-slip element (42) arranged along the entire length of the profile.
  7. Spiral staircase according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the support plate (12) is produced in one piece by moulding.
  8. Spiral staircase according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the profiles (22a, 22b) comprise two mounting grooves (44, 46) which are designed to mount the tread (14) and are arranged in parallel on either side of the horizontal median plane.
  9. Spiral staircase according to the preceding claim, in which the mounting grooves (44, 46) have different depths respectively.
