Claims (8)

  1. Element (1) for forming, when assembled with other identical elements (1) guiding lines (20) on the ground for blind or visually impaired people, this element being adapted to be secured to ground and comprising an end having a convex rounded edge (6) and another end having a concave rounded edge (8), the convex rounded edge (6) of an element (1) being adapted to be engaged in the space defined by the concave rounded edge (8) of another element (1) to allow positioning of the two elements (1) one after the other on the surface to be equipped, with a continuity of the longitudinal edges the two elements (1) and with a possibility of placing one element (1) according to several possible positions of non-alignment of said element relative to the other element (1) without loss of said continuity;
    characterized in that:
    - said element (1) is in the form of an elongate strip;
    - said ends are the longitudinal ends of said element (1); and
    - one of the longitudinal ends of the element (1) comprises a breakable lug (7), projecting longitudinally from the element (1), and the other longitudinal end of said element (1) comprises a cavity (9) adapted to fittingly receive this lug (7).
  2. Element (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the lug (7) is located at said convex rounded edge (6) and the cavity (9) is located at said concave rounded edge (8).
  3. Element according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the lug has a weakened area at its base, such that a groove reducing its cross-section.
  4. Element (1) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of transverse spaced lines (3) for weakening its resistance, making it possible to severe said element (1) to give it a determined length.
  5. Element (1) according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it comprises non-slip projections (5) on its surface intended to be placed on the upper side of the element (1) after installation.
  6. Element (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that said non-slip projections are in the form of groups (4) of successive chevron ribs (5), the tips of the chevrons formed by the ribs (5) of a same group (4) being directed towards the central point of this group.
  7. Element (1) according to claim 6, characterized in that it is intended to be fixed to the floor by means of screws (10) or pin and in that each hole (2) for passage of a screw (10) or pin through it is arranged at the center of a group (4) ribs (5).
  8. Element (1) according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that it is made of aluminum.
